Actually jeonghan is Trying to make everyone escape in reality direct them to the dream world. He puts everyone to sleep and imprisons them in dreams. He enters everyone's dream because he afraid being forgotten. Then he forget his original purpose drives people away for his life even if it is not pure evil when Wonwoo realize this he goes after jeonghan and bring jeonghan and everyone back to reality
Basically, 'This man' is an urban legend where a man visits people when they're dreaming and grants them a gift of deep slumber. So yes, like the sand man. Wonwoo is that man. He loves the city and the people in it so he wants to protect them. Then he starts hearing about another 'this man' that grants people's wishes in their dream. That was Jeonghan. Jeonghan lost someone named 'A' and ever since then he can't break out from his past and time seemed to stop for him. He got deluded into thinking 'A' is still with him, even though all he sees when looking at 'A' is a white sheet covering a person, like a ghost. Somehow, he got the ability to grant people their wishes in their dream, so he uses that power to put people to sleep and trap them in an illusion where time is stopped so that he can recreate a city where 'A' still exists. But everytime he does this, the more empty he becomes and gradually forgets who he is, what his purpose is, and even what 'A' looked like. The city got worse with all the people asleep all the time so Wonwoo had to take action. He was running around waking everyone up from their dream and bringing them back to reality. Then Jeonghan found out about Wonwoo and he got angry, saying that he was close to making the illusionary city. Wonwoo confronted him and asked him what his purpose was or if he even remembers 'A' face. Jeonghan was brought back to reality and says he can't remember. Wonwoo told him to take the sheets off 'A'. Jeonghan did it and saw nothing. No one was under the sheets. He was alone all along. Jeonghan sighed in relief and relented. He gave up and then Wonwoo put him to sleep. Wonwoo whispered a gift of deep slumber into Jeonghan's ears.
you should check out the audiobook they released.. everything was explained there.. basically, jeonghan makes people sleep to help them escape reality but he lost his purpose and traps them in the said dreams.. when wonu realized this, he started waking up the people who was put to sleep by jeonghan and start chasing after him.. once he found jeonghan, he woke him up from his own dream
Jeonghan is people's "This Man" Who granted their wish in their dream. Wonwoo is Jeonghan's "This Man" who granted his wish to wake up from his dream because of that's really hard for him to stop chasing the white character in his dream(?) Like we do really know that we have to live our life, but often tend to dreaming, because when we dream we feel it easier than our life 😮 Even though life is so hard but for dreamer, one of their dream is maybe to be able enjoy, fulfill living their true life 😮

This is one of the comebacks that you need to follow since the beginning to understand From the first clipping of "have you seen this man" to concept pics and mainly the prologue film and audiobook (and finally the complete audiobook) - seeing everything will finally give one a proper understanding of the MV That's why this is one of the comebacks that was worth the wait - as every new info gave more insight on the storyline
“This Man” is an Urban Legend. You can check the story of it by listening to the audio book released by Jeonghan and Wonwoo. This MV is kinda like the summary of it. But with just watching the MV, there’s some parts that needs more understanding, if only we have the context! And that’s what the audio book is for! Imagine a 30minute long story read by Wonwoo and Jeonghan. Imagine. (Go and listen to it now!) Anyway, even if I was able to hear the audio book and was able to understand the story, I’m here cuz I’d like to see your reaction and know your understanding of the video, Andy and Jas! 😉 you guys never disappoint! Thank you for reacting to this MV/ mini movie! More power to you both!
Love the sincerity in your reactions, how you actually try and understand the content but also have so much fun with it! Hope you guys enjoy it as much as we enjoy watching you. Thank you!
Pf I'm sorry, but the MV and those moments at the end of the MV brought a very nice story to life in my mind 😂 I watched the MV stories and came to a conclusion. Jeonghan is the mysterious man who puts people to sleep and enters their dreams, and I think he is looking for someone in their dreams. He asks people, "Are you happy in your dreams? Do you want to stay there?" and puts them to sleep like that. Woonwo, on the other hand, manages to wake people up. In the first scene, while he is buying drinks, he witnesses people falling asleep and hears them talking about the man who puts people to sleep and comes into their dreams. When he sees people sleeping, he understands the issue and wakes up those people and goes after it (as if he started looking for someone on the street). Think of it as Jeonghan running away and Wonwoo chasing. In fact, in the mv, Jeonghan is constantly running away, while Wonwooda is after him and looking for him. As Jeonghan touches someone on the roof and is about to put him to sleep, Wonwoo finds him and begins to approach him, but he turns to dust and runs away. While Wonwoo is looking for him, he again finds the people he put to sleep in groups and as you can see, he wakes them up, again preventing Jeonghan from entering their dreams. Jeonghan was entering the dreams of the people he put to sleep in groups, but when Wonwoo woke them up, the dream started to disperse normally because people were waking up. Even though he put them to sleep, he sees someone waking them up and rubbing his head (so he doesn't seem to understand what happened, he thought only he had powers, he didn't know there was someone else, so the guy on the roof was after him, he was confused. Jeonghan understood and looked angry at himself. He woke up with his emotions at that moment The people eventually kneel before Wonwoo on the roof and are clearly surprised by Wonwoo's surrender, and he puts Wonwood to sleep to save him from these feelings (but we know that Wonwoo can't put people to sleep, he only wakes them up), so logically it seems like he's putting him to sleep. On the contrary, it awakens him to the truth. You know, Jeonghan was asking people, "Are you happy in your dreams, do you want to stay there?" Oda sends Jeonghan to the reality where he is or will be happy. In the last scene, we see Jeonghan waking up from sleep, and Wonwoo saves him from the bad feelings or pain he is experiencing and wakes him up. Jeonghan's empty space in the last scene his look and calmness probably indicate the person he is looking for or bad thoughts etc. This is due to the fact that he thinks he forgot and just woke up from a dream. Wonwoo has the power to wake people up by putting them in nightmares, he explained this himself behind the camera. This means that he woke up Jeonhan, and Jeonghan woke up thinking that what he saw and his actions were a nightmare.Wonwoo makes him forget everything. ✨ That's all I think , Even though this is just my opinion, if you watch the MV again after reading my comment, you will realize that what I said is in order and you can see that it is compatible.
I'm always excited for your reactions/interpretations of svt songs! 💕 Just saying though, I won't be mad if yall have longer videos cuz yall watched the mv twice 👀 you might catch something yall missed from the first watch 🤷🏽♀️ and I won't be mad about that 😅 Thank you for your hard work!

No, they already know, but its much better for them to watch it with the Korean subs, because even with good English translations, it just doesn't come close to giving you 100% accurately what they are saying in Korean.
i think @cristinadan1121 has the best explanation of the mv. I saw her theory in another reaction video and I loved it. thanks @cristinadan1121💗💙 "So this is based as the album says on the urban legend of THIS MAN, a man that can appear in peoples dreams and gives them advice. They are both this man, both of them can manipulate dreams. So my take is jeonghan puts everyone to a sleep with sweet dreams. Basically hes creating his world away from the harsh reality hes running from where he is sad with all the people wearing the bedsheets. You can see the lights go out and how some buildings are covered when he does this. Wonwoo hears the people talking beside the vanding machine about someone who can make your wish come true at the beginning. He sees the people sleeping and wakes them up after giving them comfort. Both of them go through the door into the dream world and wonwoo starts chasing jeonghan, he eventually finds him in someones dream but jeonghan turns into dust to escape. So wonwoo keeps waking up everyone jeonghan puts to sleep. At the end when they finally meet, jeonghan falls to his knees at the same time the last building is unveiled and the lights are working everywhere in the city meaning wonwoo woke everyone up. I believe this last scene takes place into the dream world and by touching jeonghan and him collapsing, wonwoo actually wakes him up. That lamonade its the only thing coloured throughout the whole mv and all the people drink it after being woken up represents wonwoo making all of them face their reality even if its bitter. The last part where jeonghan is drinking lamonade, finally facing reality after running from it for so long its just . Also theres a poster with "have you seen this man" on the street when people are walking by wonwoo, i believe its the same one from the teaser, it was half jeonghan and half wonwoo. Wonwoo said Jeonghan forgets his purpose so this is why he had to wake him up. Fun fact, nox its another name for nyx the goddess of night and it means darkness/night in latin, they are basically emphasising the song at the same time. This was what i came up with after watching the mv many times cause it was a little confusing at first. Hope im not wrong and this helps :) I loved the cinematography for this, the storyline and the music its just top notch. That guitar with the base and them singing in lower range almost wishpering at times adds to the atmosphere so much"
