Before you commented about your fastback and her horse power the 30 horse comment reminded me of my 64 beetle as compared to my 2000 1.8T with a 5 speed manual. Love the little FIAD! And instead of fixing someone else’s issues you are rescuing an owner and car from the owners mistakes, of going somewhere else first!
Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino ... now that is a very nice peace. In my country we used to have a lot of these on the roads (no am not from Italy) and no it weren't the licensed Zastavas or Seats, it were real Fiats. But then, during late 80's most of them just vanished. Glad to see one still going and getting worked on by master hands.
The radiator has holes in it. Yes I tried to get it running but it had no compression. I figured it was ran without water and the engine overheated and warped the heads. I ran out of time and patience. Yes that is a brand new Bosch blue coil. I think that cover is under the bonnet. Thank me for ordering that manual...lol Good luck Duckman...😊
Physically, a machine screw and a bolt are the same thing. What they get called depends upon how they get used. If it is screwed into a nut, it is a bolt. If it gets screwed into something else (such as an engine block) it is a machine screw. So all those “head bolts” on American V-8s are actually “head screws”. That is what I was taught in mechanical engineering school many years ago (along with how to use a slide rule.) So calling the two items you removed first “screws” instead of bolts is technically correct. Americans tend to call all machine screws “bolts” and reserve the word “screws” for sheet metal and wood screws.
Typical Italian car, poor engineering, hard to work on, etc, etc. Cyphering that repair manual is similar to the Chinese interpretation on their assy instructions!
Fix it again, Duckman!
When a VW bug is just too big. Take out the engine, not with a cherry picker, but tweezers
@@DuckmanCycles damn. You got some serious skills.
Duckman, You area gifted mechanic…Love your work.
Thanks Matthew! I'm very new to this Fiat stuff.... we'll see what comes of it soon!
Interesting video. Nice change from air cooled VWs. Thanks!
Thanks much.... little something different!

DUDE NICE FIAT!
Thanks man, seemed like an interesting topic for the channel... something different!
Great video as always! Cool to see a different car being worked on.
I own a 1966 Fiat 850 great to see a Fiat on your channel
Awesome man! Got videos?
Glad your doing well
Very cool, it's always nice to work on something different. I see Mr. Bean driving it around in my head
Actually, PeeWee herman had the same model in a different color! Haha, but the Mini Cooper isn't far off! :)

I better get a good look at that radiator before I put the engine back in.... 😯😯😯😯
Nice one, just to let you know in blighty we call them silencers, muff means lady parts. Cheers 😂
Haha, muff is the hair on the lady parts.... something I don't mind getting my hands dirty with.

That clarifies things, thank you! In this manual everything is a screw despite that lol!
Thank you, I've always wondered about this but have not got round to looking it up. Every day there's something new to learn. Cheers
nice job.
That car is in vey good condition. It`s a shame to have the rear panel have all that water inside. Hope the new engine has more spunk!
Water drains! I think it will survive! Thankfully I found this problem before the problem found its way through the panels.
The transmission hatch you made for Eleanore from a VW bus engine hatch?
Someone is paying attention! Thanks man!
Love the car be cool to put around town in
A motorcycle jack is what you need for small engine installs
Thanks, that's exactly what I use on my Volkswagens, you can see it used in my other videos
3:09 🤣
I was wondering if anyone was gonna pick up on that haha!
Honestly that fiat looks like it would be way easier to work on than a VW Bug .
That rear access hatch makes a huge difference that's for sure! But I'd put a Beetle in the same bracket otherwise.
I like
You digress alot lol
@@Mr012366 i have too many reasons! 🤣🤣🤣👍🏻🦆💩
60 years of somebody else's problems lol,I have a Fiat 850 it's a familiar story....
It's like an engine...only smaller..
Its pill size, take it with a glass of water!
Yo duckman are you charging the batteries for your power tools? You haven’t used a power tool at all 🤪
They don’t fit!!!! Anywhere!!!
@ ha ha ha those fiads are very small indeed 🤣
Dees nuts are rusty😮😂
