This is ria 🍭 This is actually my first edit for SamYU and then this edit turned out to be so serious and emotional more than I intended at first.
If I must admit, I have been hesitating to do an edit of them because tbh I feel that they ain't the people who I should mess around with. I admire both of them a lot and also their hard work and utmost dedication to the WBL show.
As much as I admire them individually, I truly am in love with their bond and chemistry too. I personally think that YU is someone who has been going through a lot and he casting in WBL and working together with the actors who have been in the industry for so long is such a big deal for him. Language barrier plus no acting experience would make him stress a lot which might lead him to deal with self doubt and insecurities about his acting and talent.
But then it is amazing how you had to meet & work with a person without much choice and after that, that person became the one who helped you to overcome your fear, he went all of his way to make you feel comfortable and less nervous, he created all those opportunities just to let you have your own moments and then you found yourself that you overcame that fear with that person's help. Whenever you have self-deprecation, he is there to say ' it is okay, you did good' . All you needed was acceptance and reassurance and he gave them to you slowly.
This is how Sam taking care of YU. He makes sure to let YU know that he is doing great, he lets him know when he is doing wrong by not talking, he is there to fight the others if it is needed because he knows YU will never speak out. So I hope you won't disappoint that this video doesn't contain those sweet cheesy moments like other couples. At least I hope you feel something like I did. Because I put my heart into this.

I miss samyu so much
Everyone in Wbl adores YU and helps YU with everything because how can you not,he is adorable. But Sam, he pampered YU, he takes care of him, he is very patient with him. He makes sure his okay in every interview, he makes sure that he is comfortable and makes sure that his not thoroughly bullied and most importantly he always encourage Yu to be more expressive. Being expressive must be so hard for YU since mandarin is not his first language and he is an introvert person. But Sam was patient with him and let YU speaks how long may it takes. For that I think YU admire Sam so much. He learned so much from Sam. As we can see that they adore eo so much cause they understand eo so well.
I don't know why I'm crying, I don't know how much Sam played a role for Yu, how much he takes care of Yu. And Yu found a best partner
As a person who is really shy, I really admire people like Sam. For him to make sure that YU gets to speak his mind and encouraging him to open up more, that's really amazing♥ Their chemistry is so good, their acting is amazing and the fact that this is YU's first time acting, he is really killing it! :3 Honestly the best BL I've ever watched, and just an amazing drama with very intense and well portrayed feelings. Just loving this show, these characters and the actors♥♥♥
I’m so happy Yu for his first project has someone as supportive and doting as Sam. He’s so patient and attentive to him and I love them together so much. I hope we see more of their bond in their reality show and on their Instagram lives- I really want them to have another live when they’re in the same room like the hotpot live. Because I really feel like they feed off of and go off of each other’s energy really well and we can’t always see or appreciate that when they’re live but not in the same room.
It's so cute that Sam take care of Yu like that, quietly too it's show that he really matter to him. Yu take care of Sam too sometime (quietly too) when Tian tease Sam or taking picture of Sam secretly etc... I think their relationship is special. Yu have grown up in Japan and Japanese people doesn't speak their mind so its normal for me if he's like that and maybe he's introvert too and it's OK (it doesn't mean he's shy) he's just more confident with people he's close with and when it's in interview or else it's stressful for him because he's not use to it yet. I think he would be more confident when he speak if it's in Japanese. Because even if you know another language, you don't know all the specific word that you want to tell to express something and it's frustrating and maybe he' s worry to make mistake too and it's OK.

Yu is very lucky to have met Sam in his first acting project. Sam helped him out a lot. Sam was patient and encouraging and I know Yu will always be grateful, I feel like Yu is the loyal type of person who doesn't forget when kindness is shown to him. He's an introvert and a Capricorn, once you get through his walls you're there to stay forever.
He is really the baby that every big bro on WBL need to be protected. They know how sensitive YU's feeling.
7 secs in and I’m already shedding tears. Yu found a safe haven in Sam and the same goes for Sam. These two were truly lucky to have found each other cuz both give the other that safeness of being listened and understood. Sam giving Yu that confidence in himself to speak up while Yu gave Sam that comfort of not needing to put up the “happy smile” when he’s not okay. To be understood. Is quite rare to find someone, in one’s life, to be of such great impact (positive) on the other. SamYu are truly soulmates 💕
Love their relationship. It’s so pure and beautiful! Sam and YU really have so much chemistry and it’s obvious through their real life interactions as well as their on screen chemistry. That is why so many fans love them so much. We love their love and care for each other. 💕
Believe me when I said if this wbl drama not taking this two as a lead character, i would never watch this drama… they really got my attention bcs of this chamestry❤️🔥

Yu truly did an amazing job in the series. I never doubted his abilities there. Honestly his acting was perfect. I hope Yu gets confident with him too. He should believe in himself & express his thoughts ❤️
I just stumbled on this video and I didn't realize myself getting emotional while watching it until the end where I let out a big breath of air I was holding in. SamYu are such precious people, such hardworking people individually and together, and relying on each other it's really heartwarming to have been able to see. I really wish for both of their future to be bright and for them to make their life what they imagine it for themselves. I really treasure them both. I fell in love with WBL but even more so SamYu, not in a shipping way but rather seeing how close they are, how they care about e/o, their deep friendship is what really made me love them. I actually liked that you did not include the cheesy bits as so many of these CP kind of videos do, there is so much to SamYu and the way they support e/o and care for e/o is so lovely. They really understand each other on such a deep, intimate level. You don't really find people like that in your life unless you're very lucky to be able to. I don't know if WBL S3 is even possible for variety of reasons but regardless I want them both to succeed in their individual lives. As a fan of them both, I hope they continue to. Sam did realy take part of opening up Yu to climb the borders he built in order to isolate himself or his inner thoughts to others. Sam slowly creeped into yu's life and change him bit by bit which is good so that yu will be able to be comfortable and express himself more without a struggle. Yu is just causious to his surroundings and is innocent. And sam teach him to be comfortable and it's okay to struggle a little. I love their Bond 😭💕

Your edit ended being a beautiful master piece. 🤗🌟 Loved it❤️. I smiled 😁the whole video but cried 😭internally as well. Yet aside from this, i might understand where YU is coming from, for the reason that i am the same on the human spectrum (not acting spectrum). As well, their chemistry and the safety they created between and for each other is beautiful ❤️ In this case for YU, it can be seen that Sam by one look knows when YU needs to feel safe from everything that might be going on around him in a certain situation. For example in 4:28, Sam sort of felt and saw YU shiness so he hugged him and that's when YU sort of felt safe and he didnt want to let go. Then, the same can be seen on @4:48. As YU realized his mistake, he gave Sam a certain look and laughed in shiness, so Sam automatically hugged him because he might of known that YU felt shy or some sort of uncomfortable way. So giving YU a hug could of reassure him that it was ok and that he did good (This is my personal Opinion/perspective). In the end, i hope that after this journey, because of course everything must come to end; their friendship/bond remains strong and they keep growing 🤗❣️❤️

I don’t know how to express how I really feel right now but I think anyone who understands their relationship and the mutual love and respect they have for each other would see how beautifully and carefully you have put this video together. And thank you for that. Two wonderful human beings, I will always wish them the best.. As an introvert myself, as much as I understand and relate to Yu’s side, I am even more in awe of Sam’s personality of taking the effort to get out of his own bubble to make Yu comfortable and always extending that warm hug of reassurance. Thank you for this vid. With these collective videos,it's clear that what Sam and YU share goes beyond what fans and others call CP. Both of them have grown in the presence of each other,both learning from each other. It's reassuring to be finding someone you can put your guard down to in the world of entertainment where everybody is a competition and survival of the fittest ensures your spot in the industry. Okay i watched this series when it first aired and since have been sort of keeping up with SamYu coz I loved their offscreen relationship.
But it is just yesterday that I found your channel and honestly you have done such a marvellous job of portraying them and their bond through all of your videos. Its not merely a compilation it feels like a movie. And gah it makes me so emotional noting how strong and understanding they both are and their relationship (whatever it maybe) feels so refreshing and pure.

Thank you Ria. This is a lovely edit, comprising all the unrealised effort Sam put into caring for and supporting Yu. I see so much kindness from Sam. No wonder YU feels safe and loved by him. I agree that Yu may have be going through a lot of trials in order to become adapt in his role as Zhou Shu Yi but, also in his private life. A good friend is so hard to find, but, even harder to keep. I trust in them and wish them all the best.

@@susanchorbene7358 loving them together and also supporting them individually is wonderful. I always felt that their bond is something subtle, yet special & deep. You need to pay enough attention to catch on their strong bond. It might go beyond what most fans assumed or called. Zi hong is an important person and life changing existence in YU's life (as YU said) and I believe YU stands the same in Zi Hong's life too, as someone whom zi hong can trust and connect with, someone who respects him completely and understands him without a word. So for all i can say that their bond is rlly beautiful ❤️

Same, watching yu is like watching a mirror, I could say he's like the male version of me. And being myself what i craving the most is someone who can understand my silence, someone who speak same language, because personally i found it hard for me to find someone that had the same wavelength as me. In another word means i want a partner, not necessarily to be a lover but is enough with could understand and work on something smoothly with me. Having people like Sam seriously would be a bless, someone who is trying to make u feel comfortable, listen n try to understand you, make you feel like you can do anything in this world and he will be your best supporter. So that's why watching them (samyu) is a big comfort to me because i can see someone as complicated as me found his 'partner'. And yeahhh here i am still searching/waiting for 'that person'

In general, it is just hard to find mutual trust, respect and understanding from a stranger and being an introvert would be a total struggle to get close with other ppl but glad they(SamYU) went through that stage with the help of Sam,breaking through his wall. When I see these clips where they are so natural and close to each other...and then when I see their vacation episodes (which probably took place after their promotions) ..it kinda felt painful to see them having least conversations of all the boys... it's kinda unfair when people who begin to open up and start becoming comfortable around each other had to stop themselves from expressing their emotions as this might lead to all sorts of speculation...
I just hope they remain good friends for life...
I think the show cut out a lot of the Samyu interactions. The boys are still good with each other.

I love the last two minutes of the video ,this couple is in my top 3, the way they look at each other is what I like the most, they laugh all the time with each other, notes connection. That is the most difficult thing to find, that it seems that there is a natural connection between the protagonists.
They should do another project together with other characters.

Same here. I don't know exactly why Sam reminds me of Kai though, maybe because both of them pay attention to such small details, to other's feelings and try their best to make them feel comfortable and safe. Both of them are such sweethearts
