16:00 That nice old Kenworth K100 was awesome. When I was a kid I remember those going down the road and I just loved the look of them. I even had a few K100 posters in my bedroom as a kid! I had never seen the inside with the skylight windows so thanks for showing the interior as well.

Great journey back in time, thanks for sharing. I remember that a lot of guys used to laugh at the old IH cab-overs at 1:00 but they were a good solid piece of equipment and built to be easily serviced (They were also $20,000 less than a Pete or KW). I worked for an outfit once that had a whole fleet of the old cab-over Transtars and they were perfect for hostling trailers around town, they were also one of the easiest cab-overs to see out of also. I would guess that the 359 is around a 1976 model, I think 1977 is when Pete removed the oil check door in the hood: Thanks for posting!

Man those old KW's with the aerodyne sleepers, I remember seeing those all the time when they were popular, there were a pile of guys at Arnold Bros who used to run them as O/O's, they were quite the thing back in the day and old BJ and the Bear sure helped sell a bunch of them. I dont doubt that lady and her husband have had people stop in and try and buy that Pete, guys still love them and it always puzzles me why people hang into them if they dont know what they will do with them... I would rather see it get restored and on the road,, lots there to work with to get it road worthy, but who knows one day someone might write a big enough cheque to convince them to sell, but nice to see these are still out there.
If you had unlimited funds and way more acres, you could fill it in no time...lol...Love these old truck tours and finds along the road, its amazing the amount of stuff you see sitting in someones yard, old cars, old truck old tractors and of course semis and farm trucks. I know a fellas that sells old car trucks parts and he has truckers etc who he gets to keep an eye out and let him know about anything that they see that he might be interested in, he's found a lot of his part vehicles that way..., honestly you could drive for miles and miles and find stuff along the highway, it is amazing just how much stuff is still out there

That set-back axle Kenworth sure is rare. W900-S12 was the model number I believe. Also kind of funny seeing an IH truck painted John Deere colors.

This past summer there was a 359 for sale in the truck paper. It was a single axle day cab. Just a beautiful original tractor. But it had a bench seat also. The driver seat was seperate and it had seating for 2 passengers.

I had a 79' IHC, Transtar ll. The original motor was a 430DD, they were supposed to be top of the line, passed everything but a fuel stop. It was a one owner truck, 2.5million miles and 5 different motors, all Cummins, had a 290 in it when I picked it up for 2500US, turned way up, a real tough little truck as long as you didn't try to climb any hills, lol. I believe the KW with the setback axle is model 952, early 70's, there's a cheap one on CL, LI, NYC. Love that aero KW, very comfy for a Cabo. The chipmunk driven KW is tits, what a waste of a winch truck. Great video, makes me want to go to 🇨🇦.

I like the looks of the older International cab over trucks, I had a uncle who drove a International cab over similar to this one, even the cab over trucks with the square headlights still looked nice then eventually the International cab over trucks were ugly when redesigned.
