Do you need an overcast foot for this?
She did a great job with that standard presser foot--but, then she's certainly has a lot of experience, and practice. [our Singer Heavy Duty didn't come with an overcast presser foot in the accessory packet]
I have 2273 singer model.so for overcasting which I should use?
Isn't the s1 stitch on the same setting on stitch selector dial meant for stetch fabrics? On mine (4452) I have 2 other stitches on that selection but the s1 on yours, and on mine, is listed by singer as a slant overcast and says it's for stretch fabrics...

2010 Stoof : She wasn't using s1 stitches. It looks like she is using the grey stitches and letter k from your manual. I too believe the s1 stitches are for stretch fabrics, but maybe they arent. Anyway the k stitch in s1 goes in the wrong direction, why I do not know. When would you overcast and then sew the seam? Very confusing.

You need to be close up or its a pointless video
You need to pause between sentences, slow down your speech, it's not a race your trying to teach something give people time for the words to sink in and improve the video quality
you can adjust playback speed for this video by clicking the 3 little buttons on top right. it would probably sound funny but that's what i do. Hope this helps :-)
