...as a spurs fan I feel bad for wemby...he looks frustrated with the team...he works so hard to get in position and when he does they swing the ball to the other side of the court...and when they give him the ball the players stay in the same side of the court with him instead of going to the other side and the player guarding them have to follow them...but they don't they stay in the same area that's why wemby gets triple team all the time...the spurs have one starter in wemby third option in vassell...trey and sochan are bench players Julian is a garbage minute kinda player I don't get why his starting...keldon Collins and cedy are the only bench players the rest garbage minute players but they play a lot of minutes...it sucks the spurs didn't make any trades...pop is going to take roty from wemby and any other awards he could of had as a rookie...

I kinda understand the Spurs path right now. Wemby still has to get stronger over years and the team need another go to player in case he is resting. Yes agree with some comments. Victor is getting the risk of a mental burn out with this team. He knows well it will take years to be contenders but he knows also that it is literally impossible with this team to even close to play offs. I know people talk about tanking it is all part of a master plan, etc. but really when you see the guy potential you feel he deserves a one in a generation team around him too, not in 10y but in 2-3y.
At this point I just come here to laugh at all these spurs fans trying to win now like if they're really going to beat all these stacked teams in the West anytime soon.

San Antonio is a small market, no way they could attract a big name so the only way to get another all-star is to draft a promising prospect, and to do that you need to tank.

Bring Killian Hayes to the Spurs for all I care. He struggled with Detroit but only with scoring which not all his fault. But at least Killian is a playmaker and will be much better at finding Wemby in the paint. He also is good on defense, but Wemby teammates IQ is low af.

@@210_Saiyan stats don't tell the full picture. first of all teams shoot a higher percentage against san antonio cause of awful perimeter defense. secondly, his teammates aren't boxing out properly and often try to go for the rebounds themselves. and third, the spurs have been on a long road trip called "the rodeo" where there's been two spans of 3 games in 4 nights so wemby and the spurs in general are gassed and are not playing their best basketball. wemby's averaging more than 10 rebounds a game and has one of the highest defensive rebound percentages in the league. don't let these 2 games fool you

@@potzysk2 He's 7'3.5" in his socks. So he's actually taller than guys who are listed at 7'4" in their shoes, like Ralph Sampson, Mark Eaton, or Zach Edey. You can see it when he stood next to Edey. He was noticeably taller. 7'5" is the better way to refer to him to put him in the context of other giant players.

If not available than maybe Topic but his shooting looks awful and needs the ball on his hands too much. Maybe Isaiah Collier or Castle but they have the same problem,but have more upside.
