You could put your wii u with a battery hooked onto it for power inside your backpack and then just pull out the gamepad when you want to play. backpack beside you on the bus, train, in the carry on section of a plane (if it gets past security) or in the car. You could even use it with the backpack being worn :) Of course you might have to get some type of voltage regulator for the battery :P

You just need games that support off TV play and a plug socket to power the console. Or you could get a special battery bank for the console to power it without access to the mains, but that part is complicated.

The Wii U is way better than the Switch because you can play online for free and you don't have to use pre-paid cards to play online for a month or a year. Plus, the Wii U is superior to the Wii and the Switch because the Wii U does not rely on friend codes. And furthermore, the Wii U is backwards compatible with Wii and Wii U games and Wii and Wii U accessories. And one more thing: there was ONE third-party game for the Wii U: Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Wii U Edition. In TTT2: Wii U Edition, there are third-party options in the game such as Tekken Ball, dressing up your favorite Tekken characters up as Nintendo characters, drawing designs on Tekken characters by using the Wii U GamePad's touchscreen and stylus and vice versa.

Wii U is much better. Remember we are talking about a console so portability isn't really necessary (in my opinion). The Wii U has a way bigger game selection as well as free online gaming. It also has the Gamepad which is very useful and fun to use. You can make video calls, control your TV and have access to almost all social medias. Also you can play all your old games and use the old Wiimotes. ☕

@@AfraidNarwhal it’s a better family system, it can play most all the Zelda games, almost all the games on the switch are just Wii U ports, It’s backwards compatible, the virtual console is download and own, as opposed to subscription, asymmetric gaming is fun with a group. I own a switch and love it, but I’m realistic that the Wii U is still better.
@@iBMcFly I prefer the switch because I'm able to take it wherever I want and play in handheld mode. Also new games don't get released on the wii u. And when new games were being released on the wii u, it was harder for devs to get their games on the wii u than it is to get their games on switch. Edit: oh and by devs I mean small devs or 3rd parties

Wii U Advantages:
- Homebrew
- Miiverse (it shut down, but link it to the one above, it's coming back :))
- Can play old Wii games
- VIRTUAL CONSOLEEEE!!! (u get games MANY systems on 1 console, unlike switch)
- Proper controller, unlike Switch stupid small JoyCons, and it supports Wii Remotes
- Music everywhere and real Nintendo feel, unlike Switches ugly flat theme
- 2 Screens at the same time
- Cheaper Games (switch ports are way more expensive)
- Free Online Servers
- AND IT WAS RELEASED IN 2012! WAYYY BACK. SO UNDERRATED. THE SWITCH IS OBVIOUSLY BETTER IN SOME WAYS, BUT STILL.
In the future if I'm rich, I will hire someone to upgrade specs of it and change the OS and game code a bit to work better with better specs and to make a new GamePad that looks like a Switch Lite and uses streaming instead of 2.4GHz which loses signal all the time.

The Switch is getting all the Smash Games in one technically. The Wii U Only had 1 Smash game.
Brawl was backwards compatible in the virtual Wii mode of the Wii U and Smash 64 is on the Eshop. Switch is definitely better tho

I think its a great idea that the Wii U should only be played at home in your room or living room. I mean, leave the outside world for those kids to play.....physically, not in a gaming way. I actually know a guy who brought his Switch to a bar. Umm.....ok? A little extreme but ok. I honestly wouldnt want to take my Switch to a park or a store. Its stupid. I actually sold my Switch to get a Wii U (never owned a WiiU untill now. And i gotta say, i think i like the Wii U better. Only thing i like on the switch is the characters and stages on SSB Ultimate, other then that, I see myself playing the Wii U more then i did with the Switch. 🤷♂️ thats just me.
