And they would use the cheapest mailing methods to send the lists, before ordering them etc. That was how things were done in the past. For now... I think digital sales is maybe the way... but... for shipments, it is better to bulk ship... (to a central point, before redistribution)... I think that is a better method imho. Yes, large companies can distribute.. but you can find your own distributors.. and anyway, even in the UK, there are still music companies, that CAN indeed print and sell for you too. Some of the larger music companies that have merged now... controls some of these kind of distribution channels... but it does not mean that you cannot sell to stores like HMV as well... So... The Internet is just a bit more locked down, but it does not mean that it cannot be opened back up later, so...
