Funny that when this video showed up I am doing my squares for the Jethro Cardigan. I am using a Noro yarn that has many colours and so I don’t have to weave in tons of ends. Thank -you for clearing up I some Of the questions I had on this project and as always your sweater is beautiful! I also sew quite a few of the Helen’s closet patterns and love them.

Your cardigan goes with so many different colour clothes as it has so many colours in it itself! I think my favourite is with the pink grant top and patchwork skirt 💜

The way you anchored yours by matching the outer colors in a cohesive way makes it so visually pleasing to me. If I work up the courage to make one (overcome my fear of seaming & weaving in that many ends) I hope you won't mind a copycat. Find a photo that you really resonate with and can draw out color inspiration. You've got this!!❤️As for all the weaving in of ends, putting on a movie or podcast can help make that time pass. If you've got a friend nearby who wouldn't mind doing the seaming for you, that can be an option too lol. For a spring version, think about a Jethro with Linen Quill Honey Pink as the main color, various other colors in the crochet squares including some neons. Jana of Finnish Knitting Stories made a crochet-knitting cardigan with colors similar to those. Your Turmeric Yellow and Honey Pink H+HTW is lovely. Great combination.

I never seem to have a good palette with the right yarn weights. I’ve been wanting to make this cardigan, but have been stuck on what colors to put together. Your tip about keeping the same color on the outside of the squares by row really helps. I need to get the pattern and start planning my colors/yarns. All of your outfit suggestions really help too. I’m trying to be better about styling things because I seem to just put on jeans with a black t-shirt under most of my sweaters. Enjoy the warm weather while we have it.
