I like the Arise so much I now have 3 of them. If it casts as well for you, as for me and the word gets out the price will be going up. up, up. I have tested mine with a true 2 gram jig and get 55 feet, which is not as good as with a DWU, but still a fishable distance. I have so many BFS reels I won't be using the Arise for BFS but it could be used in a pinch.
The " mighty Metanium" reference in the unboxing video was a tongue in cheek poke at The Reel Test, since the Arise easily beats it in a "cast battle".
Yeah and also thanks for the recommendation I'm hoping to get out today as soon as I get off work for just a free maybe just get that real cast and kind of set up for the shootout the shootout probably won't be able to take place until Sunday tomorrow Saturday there calling for basically 32° cloud cover like 8 to 10:00 or so mile an hour winds it's probably just wouldn't be a good time but Sunday looks to be in the high 40s so I'll probably do the BFS portion kind of do a live stream today maybe along with just setting up the real and then the actual try to get out the bombs and chatterbaits and rattle traps on Sunday

So with the 3 different Levels on the spool you Would you have to use very low and high weights on casting but can you tell me What's possible? Maybe 2 to 30 gramms? Or more? And which one do you prefer?I've ordered the soloking is this better than the haibo to you?
They're 2 different types and styles of reels.. so for all around BFS and all around reel yes the SoloKing Acura is in my opinion a better option.. the Haibo Arise reel is more of a Finesse reel . Capable of BFS but not really intended for it .. so a comparison would be like comparing the steez air to to the steez CT.. no comparison the CT is the better all around reel and can throw some bfs size baits and the air is the better bfs reel but can also throw finesse size baits...
What makes the Acura great though is the extra spool.. you have a graphite frame but with the deep spool it can be compared to the arise.. so with the deep spool the performance matches the arise in my opinion but the graphite frame limits it's ability to go as high up as the arise can go.. you can throw 20lbs and even more on the arise but I don't recommend going over 15lb on the Acura do to the chance of the frame giving out over time
As far as the weight range on the Haibo I don't consider the brake settings to be what allows the weight range but the actual weight of the spool and line capacity.. so it's a light spool which allows for lighter baits.. running braid would allow this to be even lighter than with floro or mono.. so yes with braid you could probably throw 2g baits but in all honesty 3.5 or 1/8 oz would probably be a better rating on how low it throws.. then being roughly standard size line capacity I'd say it is capable of up to 1 1/2 oz baits.. that's just a rough estimate because I haven't actually tested it's high and low end capabilities.. just compared it to other reels for distance and ease of casting standard sizes

Are the ARK 7s the same reel renamed?
Yes I'm not sure which models match to which but pretty sure same manufacturer for both reel brands just like Abu Garcia and Lew's are Doyo reels along with several BPS house reels

I’ll tell you the main difference. The china made reel was assembled by 10 yr olds who are forced to go to school then build this stuff then are told they’ll fail classes if they don’t show up to the manufacturing plant. But enjoy the cheap reel
