Go get yourself a 'corded' Hammer Drill. Trying to drill that much using battery powered drills will just overheat the drill motors as well as the battery packs. Corded Hammer Drill is the right tool for that job. Good luck Sweetie, you're a hard working girl!
Hi Jasmine, have you tried drilling a cluster of holes together in a circle. The diameter of the ground screw with one in the middle. This should break the ground enough to get the ground screw in? And make sure you pull the drill bit in and out to remove the debris. Then it won't binding up and heat the drill up so quickly. Thanks for sharing your project with us. And you swear as much as you like. 😂🤣😂🤣🥰
Easiest way to dig in the clay round here, is to chip away at the top and make a small hole fill with water, let it soak in and then do it again. Easiest way forbthe clay here.
A high-pressure washer digs holes fast through most anything that's not solid rock and you can feel your way around the stones in the ground.... but wear a mask or your eyelids will fill up with gravel..lol Our favorite build on the tube. awesome!
Not me lingering on YT at 6pm on a Sunday waiting for the new video to drop... I never thought I'd be that kind of subscriber for anyone but here I am.
The sun shining down on you is nothing compared to the sunshine coming from your happy dances. That’s important to me in the cold and grey of Scotlands winter! Thanks for the inspirational content and sun ☀️
Watching that lightbulb moment "or I I could weld on an extension.." got me fist pumping the air. Read my mind perfectly. Absolutely crushing it. Stay strong, going great.
Looks like you are having some fun with the holes eh? May want to think of getting a hammerdrill (preferably one with an arm / side handle - helps you have more control, so you don't break your wrists). Adding a little water into the holes overnight or when letting things cool down, should also help out. It will be a long process but you will do it for sure ! Have a great week and catch you next sunday ABA ! Cheers !
Great to see you Jasmine that was such hard work but you are the most determined person I’ve ever seen. How nice to get to swim in the dam, well done on sorting the leak out. Loved seeing all the fun you had with the dogs, while boss lady chilled out in her dust bath. See you next week x
Great job Jasmine! Youve got a small fridge/freezer, stick the drill in there for half hour when hot, OR just keep crushed-ice in a sealed bag in there to pack around the drill/batteries to rapid cool them down! (Long as sealed& doesn't get them wet!) Hope this helps a bit!? Have a great week! Youve just cheered my day right up and motivated me to get going! 😉❤️💪🏻👍🏻
hi Jas, just a small tip, hot drills can be cooled faster by using them with no load - just sit them somewhere with the trigger lock on. air cooled by internal fan. Good luck.
Won't be able to watch next Sunday, I'll be flying to my brother's for the holidays. Merry Christmas to you and your family and I'll be looking forward to seeing you next time. Much love!!
Me missed you last week, hi boss lady, tell your mom she’s the most beautiful woman in the world!! I used to install seating in theatres and arena’s, using a Bosch concrete hammer drill( corded) and I’d run it all day (10 hrs ) without overheating into concrete. Maybe it’ll work a bit better, at least try a hammer drill! Keep up your good work, so happy to see you back!!
Looks like you have a hard hard job ahead of you and like the other gentleman I would suggest a lot of water in the holes to help soften the ground. God Bless from your Canadian Friend.
With the hard ground you a hammer drill would help you. I noticed that you not removing the dirt from the hole. Try pulling the bit out of the hole while it is running a little water in the hole might help. I feel you’re doing a great job.
Good morning my favourite fruitloop 😉 Great to see you back at it. Excellent idea with increasing the size of the drills. Keep up with the dancing and lunacy 😂 Have a great week Jas. Big hugs mate 😊
Jasmine, fantastic effort, a couple of things, when using the drill try on the Hammer Function n when you have drilled down about 50 to 100mm pull the drill out to clear the hole, be mindful of the cooling vents on the drill. The other less palatable option is working nightshift Keep yourself cool n hydrated. Love the content
Keep smiling Jaz as hard as it is now it'll get easier Till then Here's to you & your family having a wonderful Crimble & a very happy new year & the dogs n chicken of course :)
such success with the smaller bore drills - great. Can maybe poor water into those holes, then try again with the larger bore drills / augers when they've soaked a few hours. such enthusiasm and great music. fantastic.
Run your drill in hammer drill mode, it will make the drilling a lot easier, the hammering of the drill will help break up the soil. Also pull the drill out of the hole more often to clear out the soil from the bit. Once drilled out fill the hole with water to help soften it for the auger. I enjoy seeing your problem solving skills. Looking forward to seeing the build progress.
My Sunday morning fix of Jas xx glad that Jango seems to be looking well and of course impressed with your hard work and determination. I can see good advice in the comments so I hope that will help you to speed up progress. Looking forward to next Sunday xx
Hey Jaz, I use the battery style timers on my fern and native tree seedling areas, they are awesome, the valve just opens and shuts no pressure required and the batteries seem to last a whole year 👍
For your water timer, not sure what they are called in Australia, but a timed gate valve. They don’t require any water pressure to work. Hope this helps, you’re doing amazing keep it up!
Your energy level is at the top, having off last week to take care of your baby, probably helped you get reintergized.take notes of other subscribers about using water.still great progress.just keep on doing what you do best.be safe.another day of work ,another day of adventure.waiting on next video drop 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Tough week for you but you kept at it. Thanks for the Vid see you next week and then onto a well deserved break for you. I bet it seems it can't come soon enough.
Nice job so far, if I wasn’t 9,000 miles away from you I would have to come by and give you a hand. The water in the holes along with some kind of a cover to keep the sun from evaporating the water would help. I know that time may not be on your side but if you let the water do its job you’ll be a happy happy lady.
Another epic battle Jas, well done for powering through another big week! It's all progress! Thankyou for sharing as always and have a great week ahead! 😌
Wow that ground does not want to give in does it!!!! I think it has met it's match in you Jas, because you do not give up hahaha... Nice to see Boss Lady again, and the doggoes enjoying the water!! Have a great week - see you next Sunday
Hi Jazz I hope everything’s ok with jango poor bubba. I was wondering what was going on. Looks like hard work in that heat. But it’s better than it raining. ☔️ Doggies are loving the dam. Bit by bit you’re getting there.
Glad you’re ok. We were worried, but thought maybe you were taking a holiday. Sorry Jango is not feeling well. I think a demo drill might have been helpful, but I’m a week late with any unsolicited advice. Loved seeing Boss Lady. We called that things she does “dusting”. My Grandparents chickens used to do that all the time while they were out scratching in the garden. Hello again from Wisconsin. If we don’t see you before, Merry Christmas and happy New Year!
Ayo a appearance from the one n only BOSS LADY 🤩 you put that poor drill though its paces this week, progress is progress though, By the way thanks for your kind words last week i kicked the bronchitis this past tuesday, wishing you a very progressive week🤘🤘
Hi Jasmine hope you're well good to see your dogs are OK and boss lady is still being her awesome self, with you drilling into clay, maybe some gypsum might help, just a suggestion. 😊 bright blessings
If you drill it in and then bring it out. You bring the dirt up that's iin the threads and causing excess friction. After a while you can feal when you need to do this. I can hear it. Mind you I'm not there and you are doing a fabulous job so...
You did an amazing job Jas, way better than I would have in that heat. Just watch that you’re not covering the cooling vents when you’re pressing down. A Bull Point chisel for your jackhammer would do the job but they are only around 400mm long. Go You Good Thing, you’re doing an amazing job. Also hug the floofs for me. 😊🧡🧡
Hi Jasmine, It was lovely to see you back. I'm sure all your followers wouldn't mind a delayed video if you were running late working on the build. Hope your family are ok inc.luding the doggies and Boss lady. Good luck with the drilling, you've got your work cut out there. Hopefully, next Sunday, most of it will be completed. As always love from the UK. ❤❤❤
You can cool down an electric tool really quickly with a vacuum cleaner. Hold the hose up to the air vent on the tool. Sometimes the suction will hold it in place. It usually only takes a couple of minutes. Great video thank you.
Howdy Jas I missed you last week 😢I need my Sunday Jas crack me up session. So so good to see you and the pets are going strong. Dam that dam looks so inviting especially with the heat we had and we are in for another hot week so stay cool. Jas you are a farkn legend your determination is so inspiring it’s ridiculous and great to see some wicked dance moves I had tears running down my cheeks you crack me up. You can close your eyes to things you don’t want to see , but you can’t close your heart to things you don’t want to feel and that’s the positive vibes you send Jas. Yesterday is history Tomorrow is a mystery Today is a gift that’s why it’s called the present. I hope you have a successful week iam sure you will 😂 stay safe see you next week 🙏❤️ cheers Darren
Hey Jasmine Always entertaining and inspiring, thank you. -is it possible to tap a well into your spring for water? -is it possible to reduce the flow delivering water to your plants by a small restriction in the poly? -maybe compost of organic matter and small rocks will prevent evaporation/use less water/give nourishment/ prevent soil loss/ keep roots cooler and plants happier? Stay awesome Jas.
Love your positive attitude, I hope Jango is doing better. I love your content and will miss you when you take time off, but you deserve a break and I hope it don't heat up to much for you.
Glad yr back and dog is ok, you made a great job on container base , the deck is not part of it , I would be inclined to dig a little and put a concrete paving slab the a couple of blocks on it, but it’s up to you, pneumatic drills. Have a lot more guts, look forward to seeing you next week, 🇬🇧👍
Wow Jasmin it looks so hot now. One extreme to the next honey . Yes definitely water in the hole will help. Your so determined i love your commitment. 38 degree is difficult to work in well done stay hydrated darling. Good your getting somewhere with dog issue . Stay lucky 🍀🍀🫂❤😊
Glad that Jango is getting the necessary care at this time... maybe that is another role for you to explore as a sideline ? Become a vet, or vet assistant of some sort ? Believe you would be awesome in medical practice. I was thinking since the long skinny bits ARE working, try this... get a really thick block of wood drilled in an array of parallel holes, side by side, to act as a guide. Start with 1 end hole, then when you drill that hole, leave that bit in place, and drill another beside that with the guide to assist in consistent alignment, then back that one off and insert some rebar in place so hole is reinforced as you drill beside that one for third time. That should allow each drill to excavate beside the preceding one without them ending up in same bore. Maybe that will give a deep enough pilot hole for the auger supports to dig into soil ? PS, The water idea mentioned below should help, though it may overload drill since wet soil is stickier.... any space in fridge or cooler for the drills etc ?
Mannnnn I been waiting 4 u.....please elementary don't make us wait, we'll me long again 😂😂😂❤❤❤ Gurl power..u rock..I even git my husband waiting 4 u...😂
You may have figured out something by the time you see this....I live on a clay hill. I have to wet the area before I can dig if it is dry. When burying a pet I had to dig a little, fill the hole with water, let it sit, repeat. It is worth a try. I have also used my electric tiller and just hold it in the same spot, then wet and let it soak and start again.
We have clay. I call it concrete. The only time we can embed anything into it without using a large piece of machinery is in winter after the rains have fallen. Good luck!
Hey jas maybe you should try a rotary hammer drill and pour some water into your hole it helps when I am drilling large holes into rocks never give up ❤
Great to see you and boss lady again. I do the same as you...if it’s not working I swear at it! Maybe wrap some ice in a tea towel to cool down phone and drill? Enjoy the dam. Looks like good fun! 😊. Heat wave this week...stay safe.
Hi Jass, sorry for worrying last week, I never did find the community page but eh I’m old, there was a time I was a wiz with the computer but as they’ve got smarter with time I’ve not kept up with them, sorry I just care. I so hope your results are positive, I understand the worry. You never cease to amaze, that’s super hard work but you kept at it, it was a well deserved dip. OK glad you’re back. Stay safe and see you next week. 🥰
There are drills and then there are drills. It may have been worth investing in or hiring a much larger, more powerful hammer or impact drill. Well done using the equipment you had.
Hi Jasmine, Im in WA building with shipping containers aswell, we used surefoot for footings, they go in a hell of alot easier, all you need is a bunnings hjackhammer
Just a thought.. Drill your hole in about six inches then have a hose running water in the hole while you continue drilling, similar to cutting oil?.. The drill maybe glazing the bottom of the hole?I believe mine drills shoot water into the holes they are drilling?
G’day Jasmin, Glad to see that the use of the variable drill sizes, has helped drilling into your hard as a rock ground. I was thinking that if you drilled down for example, 10-15 cms then pulled back out, then drill down a little further and again brought the drill back out. Sort of an in - out movement. This might help to remove the dirt out of the hole and maybe help to enlarge it . If you know what I mean. Dancing like no-one’s watching, is definitely an official stress reliever 😂. As always you have an awesome taste of music 😊 I’ve never heard of that ‘damit’ product, I’ll try it out at my parents dam. The heat has really hit home hard now, I was whinging about how cold it was during the winter period, now I’m sooking about how bloody hot it is haha!!😂😂. Till next time, have a good one, Cheers mouse 🐭 p.s - 20 plus hours is a bloody long time for editing haha!!, but watching your videos and all the different angles, wouldn’t help.
Go get yourself a 'corded' Hammer Drill. Trying to drill that much using battery powered drills will just overheat the drill motors as well as the battery packs. Corded Hammer Drill is the right tool for that job. Good luck Sweetie, you're a hard working girl!

Yess welding has to be one of the greatest things it’s so exciting to make new stuff 😂😍
I'm so glad your dam sealing went well that's awesome to see it full again. 👌

Love your working ethic and determination to find ways to make things happen... Keep moving forward!
Get your self one of the 240v ozito rotary hammer drills - should run off a genni.
Bunnings $90 heaps of torque and will also jackhammer
Jas, you are always a pleasure to watch.. thanks for sharing your time and adventure. ❤❤😉😉
Great job Jasmine!

Glad to see your back Jasmine. You’re a hardworking woman.😊

Hey Jaz, I use the battery style timers on my fern and native tree seedling areas, they are awesome, the valve just opens and shuts no pressure required and the batteries seem to last a whole year 👍
Hey Jas, with ground that hard I would build on top of it because I don't have as much energy or patience as you do 😘😁
It was frustrating watching you drill those holes. I can’t imagine how frustrating it was for you. Love seeing sweet Boss Lady. ❤
Buckets of inspiration! You're amazing :)
Such a hardcore job to do in the heat.
G😢to see you back love your work ❤
For your water timer, not sure what they are called in Australia, but a timed gate valve. They don’t require any water pressure to work. Hope this helps, you’re doing amazing keep it up!

Boss Lady 🐓❤
Hi Jazz
I hope everything’s ok with jango poor bubba.
I was wondering what was going on.
Looks like hard work in that heat. But it’s better than it raining. ☔️
Doggies are loving the dam.
Bit by bit you’re getting there.
Fabulous job glad everyone is doing better
Glad you’re ok. We were worried, but thought maybe you were taking a holiday.
Sorry Jango is not feeling well.
I think a demo drill might have been helpful, but I’m a week late with any unsolicited advice.
Loved seeing Boss Lady. We called that things she does “dusting”. My Grandparents chickens used to do that all the time while they were out scratching in the garden.
Hello again from Wisconsin. If we don’t see you before, Merry Christmas and happy New Year!
also pull out the bit every so often to clear the hole a bit.
More music PLEASE, TAKING ME TO THE GOOD DAYS ❤❤❤
Fill the holes with water and keep topping them up
So cool to see your progress congratulation, much love and happiness and blessings. Headed your way.😚😇
You can buy a gravity feed 7-day timer, I used them and they worked well.
Ayo a appearance from the one n only BOSS LADY 🤩 you put that poor drill though its paces this week, progress is progress though,
By the way thanks for your kind words last week i kicked the bronchitis this past tuesday, wishing you a very progressive week🤘🤘
Really missed you last week glad to see you are all safe and well ❤❤
Thank you so much ! I hope you have an amazing week ❤️☺️
If it were me I'd put the deck on foundation blocks it would be quicker and just as stable

Hey Jasmine
Always entertaining and inspiring, thank you.
Maybe use a gernie to fire high pressure water down the hole
Love your positive attitude, I hope Jango is doing better. I love your content and will miss you when you take time off, but you deserve a break and I hope it don't heat up to much for you.
Thank you so much! She’s okay but could be better have a lovely holiday season 🙌
Happy Sunday y'all, Hi Jasmin, hoping Jango is feelin better🥰🥰🥰
Welcome back you are doing amazing and glad to see you got sum answers about your dog they are such good companions
Thank you so much they really are 🙏
@Building.a.Dream-Barefoot_Jas you are more than welcome
What about water jetting the holes?
the intro was such a vibe
Thank you !
I live for when you say "far out brussel sprout"
😂 takes me back to a kids joke book I use to read in the 00’s 😂
@Building.a.Dream-Barefoot_Jas unreal banana peel!
So adorable watching you❤
Boss lady said please click the like and subscribe buttons. So I did.
Glad you’re back. Love your videos. ❤👍👍
Need to get you a yard umbrella that way you have shade anywhere you need it i built a tube on my welding trailer that I can spin everywhere I need to
Mannnnn I been waiting 4 u.....please elementary don't make us wait, we'll me long again 😂😂😂❤❤❤ Gurl power..u rock..I even git my husband waiting 4 u...😂

Hey jas maybe you should try a rotary hammer drill and pour some water into your hole it helps when I am drilling large holes into rocks never give up ❤
I would drill multiple masonry holes (in a triangle pattern) from the bottom of your blue auger hole
Great to see you and boss lady again. I do the same as you...if it’s not working I swear at it! Maybe wrap some ice in a tea towel to cool down phone and drill? Enjoy the dam. Looks like good fun! 😊. Heat wave this week...stay safe.
Hi Jazz, you might want to look at getting a core drill bit think that would massively help you speed up the process on that ground. Fantastic job 👏🏼
Hey jasmine, get a hammer drill and use water to lubricate and maybe soften the ground a bit.
Hi Jass, sorry for worrying last week, I never did find the community page but eh I’m old, there was a time I was a wiz with the computer but as they’ve got smarter with time I’ve not kept up with them, sorry I just care. That’s okay! Thank you! And she’s going okay I wish she could be better though, I hope you have an incredible week 🥰🙏
There are drills and then there are drills. It may have been worth investing in or hiring a much larger, more powerful hammer or impact drill. Well done using the equipment you had.
Good morning J, missed you last week!
great video again alone you are sooo determined n welldone gooooooooo girl gooooooooo xxx
Water might help, try saturating your drilled holes with lots of water, drilling the final large post into mud might help.
Maybe try the drill bits with the dammer setting on, and pull it out ever so often to clear the flutes, slow the drill done the bigger the bit
I did try but it seems to work better going slower , hammering seems to condense the ground more 🙏
Ok yes you have rubbish ground but you definitely look like your having a blast😅 @Building.a.Dream-Barefoot_Jas
With the ground being so hard, just put a small concrete pad on top OR jack hammer a hole for your screws & concrete them in.
Dead or Alive awesome Pete Burns such a good voice RIP!
Watch out for cockatoos with your sunflowers they LOVE them. (Inialate them)
Hi Jasmine, Im in WA building with shipping containers aswell, we used surefoot for footings, they go in a hell of alot easier, all you need is a bunnings hjackhammer
Just a thought.. Drill your hole in about six inches then have a hose running water in the hole while you continue drilling, similar to cutting oil?.. The drill maybe glazing the bottom of the hole?I believe mine drills shoot water into the holes they are drilling?
G’day Jasmin,
Glad to see that the use of the variable drill sizes, has helped drilling into your hard as a rock ground.
As always you have an awesome taste of music 😊
I’ve never heard of that ‘damit’ product, I’ll try it out at my parents dam. The heat has really hit home hard now, I was whinging about how cold it was during the winter period, now I’m sooking about how bloody hot it is haha!!😂😂.
Till next time, have a good one,
Cheers mouse 🐭
p.s - 20 plus hours is a bloody long time for editing haha!!, but watching your videos and all the different angles, wouldn’t help.
