Marco once again great video with awesome content, beautiful scenery, good food and best of all spending time camping an wheeling outdoors with like minded people (friends) that’s especially nice. Keep them outstanding videos coming Marco and thank you for sharing your adventures with us.
Another great publication Marco. Food looks great as usual. It's wind chill -15 celsius in British Columbia today, you defiantly warmed us up with your summer dessert scenes. Your friends Mike and Carolyn.
So many capable vehicles, I’m envious. Someday I’ll have a Jeep. Until then I’ll learn through watching others… Thank you for sharing your adventures Marco.
Marco I love your group that is going into Anza-Borrego looks like you guys are low-impact off-roaders , I go to Anza-Borrego a lot I'm a wildlife photographer I've seen many people crash , bash and thrash the trail this is what makes me mad about seeing off-road groups if more off-road groups are like you guys and I see more people like you there Marco I won't mind seeing the off-road vehicles looks like you guys are out to enjoy Anza-Borrego it's an outstanding and beautiful Park I go there to photograph Hawks , lizards snakes and flowers . This place ( Anza Borrego ) is truly one of our gems in Southern California Desert place's to take your friends from Canada it looks like they really appreciated it and that's outstanding to see so keep up the good off road trips Marco and I wish you well .
Thank you Gary! I'm with you! I do hate seeing tire marks on rocks off the trail! I don't get it! We are really proud of this amazing place! By the way!! A few years back I was in Anza in the summer, at about 120 degrees so there was no people at all, I saw this enormous beautiful Great-Horned Owl, never seen them after that. I guess they come out when there's no traffic in the desert, it was beautiful!
@@OVRLNDX yes the great horned owls are definitely in the desert they're not a very common bird we do see them in the desert mainly where you will be seeing or Hawks during migration .
I've already seen the others videos so I know most of what went on but I still like to see your perspective also . As always the food looks great , the shut off you got is there to protect your fuel pump but I'm not sure there is a fix for that short of changing out the tank . If the fuel pickup is in a good position and it's just the fuel level sensor that is at fault (bad position) it would be possible (although likely void any warranty on the fuel pump) to set a bypass that emulates a full tank as a temporary way to make it run . If you did a bypass it should be done so an indicator light is on during bypass so you don't leave it on after getting level again . Today's fuel pumps are submerged in fuel to help keep them cool and if you run out of fuel and the pump runs for almost any length of time it will ruin the pump .
Thanks for the videos Marco. Maybe the fuel pump can be modified to pickup the fuel when on an angle. Does she do that when going uphill? So the other Jeeps don't do it, maybe copy what those setups up are doing. It's great to see the Ford Ranger out on the tracks.
As always a great adventure. I commented to Shaun yesterday, what e crew👍🏻. It’s cool to see the different perspectives of the same trip from different sources. The landscape is stunning. Safe travels, be well.

Great video Marco. Love seeing a bunch of my favorite youtubers trailing together. Food looked amazing. Marco, you are one of the nicest guys ever. You treat everyone with much love and kindness. You made their days giving them a copy if your cook book. Keep up the great videos. You are awesome.!
I always wake up earlier than anyone I ever camped with. Last, when camped with some guys I went to 4-mile run and came back to cook and eat and they still were sleeping
GREAT VIDEO and excellent content. Quick question though. Can't you fit an extended fuel tank on the 392 from America Long Range, it would solve all the problems.
Another question, did you ever solve the fuel problem on your 392 when the tank was at 1/4 or less and you were on a significant decline which caused the motor to stop?
While my Gladiator didn’t stall, I too saw a huge dip in fuel level when parked on a downhill with about a 1/4 tank to the point I thought maybe I had a gas leak. Once on flatter ground, my fuel level came back up.
Those rocks are so cool! All the different designs from how they formed over millions of years. Definitely gotta get me one of your cookbooks! Not sure what is more epic, your adventures or your cooking! Jeep needs to fix that fuel problem. That is going to be extremely frustrating.
Yeah, Utah is at that ugly almost out of winter phase. Spring is beautiful here though. I do mis Anza, Joshua Tree...little Blair. Thanks for the memories
this looked like soooooo much fun. I am also from Canada, and I am coming your way this year at some point. I hope I can also meet up with You and Brad for a similar adventure. Thanks so much for sharing my friend. I really enjoyed this episode, and your new intro.
We were just there with a bunch of friends from San Diego and LA. Our awesome camp chef made the steak with Chimmichurri and it was amazing. Might have been from your cook book.
The fuel gauge on my 392 gets pretty unreliable under 1/4 tank, even on mostly flat ground. I’ve had well over 1/8 tank and it showed ~2% (in the app), which i can confirm is wrong when it only takes 17.5 gal to fill the 20 gal tank even after multiple top offs. I love my rig, just gotta keep the tank over 1/4 for it to not freak out sometimes, which might be the only downside other than the fuel economy itself, but I knew what I was getting into, no regrets 😊
@@stevewhitaker1474 Good luck with that. I have a 25 year old TJ. Park it on an incline with a quarter tank and the empty light is showing when I get back. Fortunately, it hasn't shut down over it...yet.
for when you have low fuel in your fuel tank and on an incline and motor shuts off from no fuel.......Holley make a fuel mat that you connect to fuel line in your tank that lays on bottom of tank so you will always draw fuel
You can’t believe how many Mylar balloons I’ve found in Anza Borrego. I think I’m up to 10 since last year at this time. There is a petition going around San Diego County to ban the sale of them.
Hi Marco, very interesting problem with the steep incline, quarter tank, and the engine starves of gas. I had a similar problem with my custom build CJ-7 years back, with a 4.3 Vortec and GenRight tank. The tank had no sump to speak of for the high pressure fuel pump and it would starve for fuel at lower fuel levels at high angles. I had to improvise and make my own sump. That helped greatly, but not perfect. I'm surprised a production 392 at $75K price point would have this problem.
I see this video was about 11 months ago? Just curious did you get a resolve for that fuel tank/fuel level problem? would be helpful to know in the near future, especially since these things suck fuel and up here in Northern California I have a spot I go to frequently Mendocino/YoloBolly Wilderness and there is a very long steep section and in spots it gets extremely steep but it’s pretty continuous and I would hate to have this problem there and that’s getting close to where I end up coming out of my 52 miles of dirt road and fuel up shortly after, would not be fun to have this happen I’m wondering if this is happening to other folks? Or possibly something going on with your fuel level system in the tank maybe sticking? thanks again for another fun video👍

Nice Video, I'm sure your gas problem is a safety device protecting your fuel pump. a quarter tank of fuel at that angle sends all the fuel to your front of the tank causing the fuel pump not to be able to pick up any fuel, This would cause the fuel pump to burn out so to speak, It's never good to run a vehicle out of fuel causing the fuel pump to live a much shorter life of death. Hope this helps. Keep the fuel at least a half tank when your off road crossing the steep inclines. Best regards
