It’s always nice to see someone else’s process! Personally, I use Camera Raw instead of Lightroom (I just like the interface a little better). I also prefer using Photoshop for dodging and burning. I do that with its Dodge and Burn tools on a neutral grey layer with the blend mode set to overlay. To me, those results always look better than manually set brushes in CR or Lr.
