You never wake up and describe your friend holding you as a warm, loving embrace?

@@derp1523 Link only died in Blatchery Plains temporarily. But her dad probably died in Hyrule Castle and she also spent 100 years there holding a calamity at bay by herself. So even if it's probably lessened by her having lived there her entire life, it's probably still pretty bad.

It’s likely that they indeed in a relationship, in both games BOTW and TOTK several details are lost in the English translation, the most important ones are the descriptions in main and secondary missions, in which link writes the information about them in first person and also giving a few observations or some details, as an example, in BOTW Link mentions that he hopes to see Zelda soon again to see her beautiful smile, and in TOTK same happens, in Zelda’s diary she describes the house in hateno as their home, (she specifically wrote “our home/house” and how does she feels about living with Link, besides, there is only one bed in the place) and Link also describes some of the quests with preoccupation and a certain way of expressing that makes you clearly appreciate that Link cares about Zelda in a very personal way

My head canon is that Zelda kicked link out of his own home for stalling and goofing around for 9 months before going to help her with ganon.
She was literally stuck holding back ganon the whole time so everyone could stay alive but ok

if you finished the lucky clover quest line, you can find the bird reporter and he will say he want to train himself to become better at reporting, and mention a “legendary bard” who once sing his song across Hyrule. I believed he was talking about Kass
I always though of it as Link giving Zelda the house he built because its only ever referred to as "Zelda's house" not "Link and Zelda's house"

Edit: I realized I worded this pretty bad. I don't feel bad Mipha didn't end up with Link, I feel bad she never got confirmation before she died. She made him a shirt meant for someone you think you're gonna spend the rest of your life with, and died before she even got to give it to him. She never got to move on from him

A think that a lot of people seem to forget that Mipha was Links romantic interest and in TOTK the zora chest piece has the description of “Armor crafted by a past Zora princess for her future husband” because in the last game we know Mipha made that armor for Link it’s basically confirmed they were engaged.
Mipha was preparing for the future when she made that armor. Basically, she decided that, for whatever reason, she’d buy a ring first, then ask her lover to go on a date, and then several months later propose with the ring. Not the same thing as being engaged.
Also, Link only kinda remembers Mipha (though he probably remembers Mipha a lot better now than he did before), and Mipha would want Link to move on anyways.

Dude Link gave her the house that we spent so much money and supplies on in BotW then we had to get ourselves a new house. I get he likes her, but we worked hard to get that house back for ourselves before Bolson and the others demolished it. It was even hinted in BotW that it was originally Link’s during the time of the Calamity before he went into that coma 😑
If Link wasn't also living in the house, Zelda wouldn't have needed secret study in the well. There'd be no reason for her to have it, since the diary explicitly says she had it made for extra privacy.

Not really. Cabayan is a joke that goes nowhere. Paya gets flustered at every boy (Creating a Champion even saying as much) and thinks Link and Zelda would make a great couple. Gerudo npcs literally says "No, I can see it in your eyes, you have someone in your heart already" etc. The one girl in hateno who flirts is literally married
And also maybe finish crisis at hyrule castle and the ending...

I also like seeing them that way cause my head canon for ST Link is that he is descended from Aryll, and if ST Zelda is descended from Tetra and WW Link, their relationship becomes...uncomfortable

Someone probably already said it, but in the Gerudo bunker, there’s a gerudo who you can talk to that teaches the “Voe and You” class, and she asks Link if he’s in a relationship and you can choose to respond yes.
In the gerudo bunker, if you take the message in the bottle out the well and talk talk to the gerudo throwing it, she will believe that you are her lover. She will make you some meals

Spoilers obviously but in Lurelin Village you can find the Mayor's Assistant or whatever, Numar who mentions how Zelda frequently visited Lurelin village disguised as a traveler, even helping create the restaurant and Salt Spa. She also made her way to Lover's Pond every time she visited Lurelin, though only in the evening, as well as making an entire painting that you can also find in Lurelin.
