Thank you Sharon. It's not too difficult - you just need to take a little time to make it neat and you can make something really spectacular with very few materials. I hope you give it a go. This is so beautiful and soothing. You're a wonderful instructor and I can't wait to start on a bridal tiara. When buying wire how much would you recommend for a fairly decorated band? Especially the 4mm?
Hi KJ - sorry for the delay in the reply. I believe you can get those little combs from suppliers of floristry sundries - they also sell the tape and some bits like small artificial flowers and stones on stems that you might find useful - hope that helps.
We use 1.2mm half-hard wire for the base and 0.4mm soft wire for the binding. The half hard wire makes the base keep the shape. The soft 0.4mm wire is easy to use and will not snap. Hope that helps.
