Coming from a recurring role with 5 episodes in 2 seasons in Arrow, Alexander Calvert is THIRD on the CALL SHEET of SUPERNATURAL. I'd say that's a big upgrade. He's one of the only 4 actors on the SPN SDCC Panel in 2019 (not counting Rich and Rob as they here hosts). His face is on the goddamn promo poster. Al has his own panel during SPN Cons. Now a legit question cause I honestly want to know. Did Al ever guest on an Arrowverse Con?
Alexander Calvert is so versatile, loved his acting here, haven't seen the show but might have to get into it now. It's really surprising how he came from this and knocked the character Jack out of the park on Supernatural.
I love his acting but I have to admit they wrote him less like Anarky and more like Jason Todd mixed with Jerome from Gotham. Anarky does what he does because he wants to stop corruption and dismantle the government at large. Yes he targets people that are innocent but not a woman and her child. Anarchy goes after police officers, businessmen, politicians, public figures, people that are among highly influential circles that he views as being corrupt or as having lost their way. It would make more sense for him to go after the police officers, government officials, and everyone working with Damien rather than Damien's family or just Damien. He would be trying to send them a message to do their job instead of cutting corners. He should be depicted more like the Unabomber.
