Not really in 1st year you can opt to study from books and guides. But as we move on the number of books increases so its easier to keep them on tab or laptop, still it comes to your own preferences. For the final years yup you gonna need one as for coaching purpose
No it is not necessary, it is just a tool to make your life easier. Not mandatory. I myself didn’t had this in 1st year 😅
