after 40 we go on anabolic resistance so we need double amount of protein if we work out we need more ,i am 53 train 4 days per week and i take two shakes of 50 g whey and 3 meals with 30 to 40 g food source protein and i usually take couple of amino acid caps with each meal ,hope it helps

our body make 2 grams of creatine daily so i can say 3 to 5 grams per day is ok ,but take few weeks off every 3 or 4 months
