This video actually made me realize what the 30th anniversary decoration update for jurassic world evolution 2 may include, destroyed vehicles like the explorer and Mercedes from the lost world. Love your work really hoping to try this out on my spare explorer
It looks like it's a good destroyed explorer, but it might need a little bit more mangling. I believe the one in the movie had a slight fold in it as well
Looks amazing man, even back in the day with the kenner toys I always wanted them to make a crushed version. I was kind of obsessed with the contrast of the brand new, brightly coloured cars and the transition to a muddy wreck. I got my dad to help me back in the day cut off the roof, hot-blasty-gun-melt the plastic and used a soldering iron to add in some scratches and scrapes. I have some photos of it back in the day on a HDD somewhere! Sadly I sold all my stuff, and the person liked the crushed explorer as a lil bonus haha.
I'm hoping you do a retro repaint on the 93 classic Alan Grant. I think it'd be cool to see him as close to the Kenner style as possible. Awesome work! Really fun channel to watch!

Quick question. For the HC Rex head replacement you said to use a charted brown wash for the top head, but I couldn’t find a charred brown wash. So I wanted to ask if I need to make my own charred brown wash by mixing it with water or by using an umber wash.
Saw your older video when you recreated the JPIII stegosaurus and "spinosaurus" (suchomimus) and I heard you say you had several of them. Was wondering if you still have them and would you sell me one??

I actually bought two sets but I have three explorers I picked up a third explorer at my local swap meet a while back for just $1 so for a $1 i can definitely afford to destroy it! 😂
