This was a great video👍. The tip on the wide angle lens is just what I needed to film a promotional video for my start-up company. I wasn't so sure about what camera and lens could best capture the driver, center instrument panel and passenger inside of a car, but your rickshaw camera angles are similar to shooting inside a vehicle from the 2nd row, which is what I need. Thanks!
I also laughed when the foreign car driver recognized Miss Misa-san. She is VERY popular all over the world now.
Sorry, but also if you have a long ride, say over 60 minutes, you can share the video in parts like you did here & then maybe later put it in 1 video. I watch live stream from Japanese youtubers and last night or 06/18/22 , the live stream was about 3 hours and then it went another 2 hours with another person taking over the live stream. So if the content is interesting ( Taiwanese Festival , with Japanese Emi channel - Yuka ,from With me Japan & Daniel & Yuka ) , yes you can do long videos , if it keeps the individuals interested in the content / subject. Even when sick, みさとさん puts on a brave face and gets the job done, as always. That's the One and Only Jinrickisha Queen we all know, adore and admire right there. Always smiling, always polite, always professional, always genki (even when she's not feeling like it). Her work-ethic and dedication commands respect.
Never since I started following 東京力車 have I waited for a ride to be published with as much expectations and eagerness as this here video, JS. Saying it was worth the wait would the understatement of the year, perhaps of the decade and maybe even of the century. This ride was everything I hoped for and so much more : funny, catchy, bright and full of life, vibrant, moving, splendid, intimate, spectacular, sensational, memorable, in so many words : legendary. Of course, みさとさん had a lot to do with it but as you both rightly pointed out in the passage from 9:33 to 9:53, it takes two to have that kind of conversation.
I enjoyed your exchanges throughout this vid from start to finish but if I had to point out only to a couple of things, those would be all the sound advice and kind encouragements JS Onii-san gave みさとさん regarding her YT channel and your encounter with the family in the white car. Since that video was taken, みさとさん has done more than put your advice to good use and I'm certain that she took good note of your recommendations concerning her shooting equipment. Following her channel has been a real treat and her weekly Friday updates have become by far the most anticipated event in my schedule. As for that other passage, I found it as delightful as unexpected. It really amazed me to see how casually みさとさん engaged the conversation with that family, how fast and efficiently she was able to sell her manager pitch to them and in most likelihood, bring three new customers to ride with Tokyo Rickshaw. Instant-employee of the month award on that sequence.
For reasons you will easily understand, I'll conclude simply by saying this footage was as perfect in its content as it was from a technical point of view (the pictures and camera work as well as the new subs and multi-language features implemented), all very enjoyable and promising for your future releases, 😉👏👍. I got it, I had hay fever as a boy and it was severe. I got 6 shots in my ass during a couple of months, and all the reaction was hurting in the south pole, which was worth it, and later on, almost no reaction at all in my nose and eyes for decades!
