Firdaus name is better than Shashi. Anyway, you were late to understand the depth of Jagjit Saab's words because you must be a child when he sang this ghazal. Age is just a factor. Amrita & Imroz were a rare couple; in fact, Amrita Pritam was rarest of rare personality -- real bold and feminist during her period. No compromises with shit society for self-love and principles of life, especially in love life. Log to bakwaas karenge, logon ka kaam hai bakwaas karna, overtime bakwaas. God has bewtowed upon us a single life -- bindaas jeena on own principles without any interference or interfering in others.
