      Love your channel, just wondering if there should be gap in between the speedo and fork leg as I got a small one didn't notice before taking it off

    I was wondering if you could give me some advice on brake pads to use. i.e. standard or organic and whether hard or soft. I have found the front brake has very little feel it's very tight and firm but the back brake is fine. I have changed fluids to no avail. I am just about to order some new pads front and back as they are just about done so any advice would be appreciated.

      Hello I actually came across this issue I upgraded to sbs rs pads but to my surprise when I replaced they already had them in. So I swapped them out anyway just because I had them and the brakes were a lot better so either the front ones got glazed and made them hard or they were a bad batch but I would recommend sbs pads whichever you go for I used sbs 566rs 👍

    Hi, love your videos featuring the rs4 125.
    I just bought mine yesterday!
    Btw I have uploaded a video where my bike makes a weird noise after turning engine off. Do you know what might have caused it?
    Thanks in advance!

      Open fuel cap next time if it’s that your breather pipe is either blocked or trapped under the tank 👍👍👍

    Nice vid mate do I need a specific size rear and front bike stand for rs4?

    • @BigBoyzToyz1974

      No bud they are usually universal/adjustable but rear doesn’t have bobbins so need a rear stand that has flat rubber swingarm adapters I will put links to Amazon stands in the description to give you an idea 👍

    Hi mate, totally irrelevant but have you got any recommendations for a phone mount? I cant seem to find any to fit my aprilla rs4 125. All the stem mounts i have seen are made for a circular hole for the fork hole.

    Hi again Dean, lovely video there ive just got one question.. how do you change the pads on the front calliper? Failed my MOT on three things... Disc, pitted, worn or scored and loose seriously week weekend front which is (advisory) was a load of BS still works fine ect.. rear shock absordber was lose at the top wich now tightened and suspension arm likely to come loose as there was play so put thicker bolt through but bush could be the tiniest bit warn so thats fair enough and then she failed on right side footrest missing🤣 Ive done allot of work to my RS4 and ive just found out that the MOT mechanic that failed my MOT is a quadbike mechanic🤣🤣

    • @jboofie_
      @jboofie_ 6 місяців тому +1

      There is literally no play now on the shock top to bottom. Just the bush moves the tiniest tiniest bit. It was allot worse when I took her there. I should of gone to a bike 2 bike MOT center

      Some mot places make.there revenue from making up bullshit MOT advisories or failure he has probably lost a returning customer over something that could easily been overlooked.

    Hi, really enjoy your serie on the aprilia rs4 125 as I'm considering getting one, thank you ! I'm just not sure if 125 would be "enough" or if I should save up for the rs660. Maybe you could talk about why you went down to a 125 in another video and if you are happy with that choice ?

    • @BigBoyzToyz1974
      @BigBoyzToyz1974  3 роки тому

      No you will not like 125 for fun. Reason I got a 125 is I had a rsv1000r and was too loud for night riding and I was an on call electrician called out at 2am 4am etc so I bought a quiet 125 for this but I kept it for work commuting as traffic is really bad. But I’m going to trade it in soon for either a ktm duke 890 or an Aprilia rs660 but I’m swaying towards the 890 more 👍👍

      @@BigBoyzToyz1974 Thanks for the response, I've had a 2 stoke 125 cagiva raptor for 5 years which was ok for my needs but rs4 125 may be to weak indeed... The bad news is the rs660 is double the price 😅

      I got my lever's today all fitted. But discovered there is a micro switch for the quick shifter. I put some electrical tape & the switch is now working. Do you know if there is a way to adjust this switch ?
