I believe if Ding Ning was right handed would be the better mixed double partner than Liu Shiwen because Ding Ning has wider arm swings and covers further away from table shots which is a good advantage in double match because you don't need to recover your strokes as fast as singles that's why Xu Xin is known to be good at doubles because of his wider coverage
A couple reasons actually. 1) Liu Shiwen has a close-to-the-table style, which is particularly good for mixed doubles, because male players typically stand farther away from the table. LSW would be able to complement their styles effectively. Ding Ning, on the other hand, plays a little bit farther away from the table (when compared to LSW). 2) Many foreigners find LSW cute. 3) Personally, I also think LSW is the better doubles partner, regardless of whether she's right or left handed.

There are still a lot of players that should have done their Ittf Ask a Pro Anything I can't imagine that Liu Shiwen, Zhu Yuling haven't had theirs done. And there are many others too that I can't list here. It seems Adam does the interviews with players more on their form, performances in previous tournaments and on whim , perhaps no other criteria or listing is used. Like for Minnie Soo and others that they'd done recently that he's mentioned even though they may not be out yet. I once heard him saying they were considering doing one for Wang Manyu, And that was around when she won a tournament earlier this year, It just made me think it was what I've always thought. I understand that every player can't be covered though and schedules, appearances are different for each player in each tournament. And Adam may also feel like it'll be odd doing these interviews with the older ones, the younger ones will be more outgoing, funny and at ease
Because LSW is just the best female player. Though she is not a grand slam champion yet, every professional player knows she is just perfectly made for TT, footwork, speed, attacking, defense, etc. Ask a right-handed player, I believe his choice is still LSW.
