    Eric is hilarious, he should charge more for the motivational speeches. The real world isn't an office space with rules and limitations, he's reminding them of that. Every second. I want to see him outside of his gym, that's gotta be gold lol

    There's a mental maturity that he's teaching these guys that most people seem bothered by. I understand what he's doing. no it doesn't seem pleasant to someone who hasn't been in the gym or knows what he's trying to accomplish but I guarantee, when these wall st guys are have met his standards, no man in wall st or the 5 Burroughs will be able to punk them physically or mentally

      @philbushby9800 7 років тому

      what do you mean by mental maturity, I just see a washed up ass boxer and "nerds" who make more than you'll ever make in your fuckin life. Man high school really does never end. No I'm not defending wall street.

      Phil Bushby washed up? Dude is still better than 85% of the professional boxers out now. He was Olympic caliber.
      They MIGHT make more than i, then again they might not.
      What people don't understand is that he's breaking them down to build them back up a different way. I've been through this. Men of wall st have a mentality, or a complex rather....he's teaching them, that complex doesn't work in the gym or out in the streets, God forbid they're ever confronted with threatening opposition and are forced to defend themselves. That takes a certain mentality. Why do you think they do the same if not worse in the military, but those guys are considered heroes right?

    • @philbushby9800
      @philbushby9800 7 років тому

      Significant Nobody What so since they work on wall street with more brains rather than brawn, they can't defend them selves. Plus, wall street dudes im pretty sure are smart enough to know how not to get into those situations in the first place. It honestly looks like Kelly is just desperately trying to make a comeback. Idk how you can relate this to the military who defend our country against people who wanna blow up our country, that's why your broken down in the military, not some douche who throws out highschool insults. I'm not trying to stir shit up, I'm just trying to still figure out why he uses these methods training buisness men who are just trying to make mad money.
      I just don't get why the fuck people have this mentality of "oh he where's a suit and tie and makes over 150k a year, he's a weak ass nerd." like fuck you dude.

      Phil Bushby I get where you're coming from but I think you're taking it more personally than they are. I'm not insinuating that they can't defend themselves because they work on wall st, but the guys in this vid, looking at how they throw a punch in general, suggests that. And yes they can be smart enough not to get into certain situations but sometimes trouble finds you. They can be walking from the parking lot to their building and be approached by a thug with an agenda.
      Kelly can't make a comeback...his eye won't let him. And the real tin between kelly and the military is the verbal abuse. The military doesn't have to go to that extreme but it does. Calling people maggots, talking about their mothers or wives etc. This is light compared to that.
      What he's trying to do is breakdown what he feels they've been exposed to in their lives....yes it can be a form of stereotype....but the men that he's training for the most part have had an easy road of life...they've experienced pleasures the common man doesn't...they've been afforded the luxuries of the word yes, and pardons etc...the boxing gym isn't the world they've grown up accustomed to. Does he have to use that method? No. But they keep paying him so they don't seem to mind.

      Significant Nobody Makes alot of sense thanks for clearing that up homie. Its probably good that they put down the calculator for a little bit and get good active exercise in slef defense. Just one more thing, how do you know most of them have had an easy silver spoon life, some of them couldv grown up with shitty parents in poverty, but then again it is wall street. Dosnt really matter tho, they don't mind paying and learning. Thanks again for the help broski.

    Folks who bad mouth Eric and other fighters have never been in a fight in their life. Anyone who trains knows that the best fighters are very intelligent. Your bank account doesn't mean shit. If you can't handle yourself physically, as a human animal, you're not a man.

      I'm a software engineer. Just regarding IQ, mine tests pretty high, just saying, not bragging but it's just a fact. But training boxing and BJJ? I'm an idiot. Anyone who is a good or great boxer has an intelligence I don't have. There are all types of intelligence. I learned that in grade school when the "dumbest" kid in the class totally took me in a firecracker purchase.

    I know working out with someone Eric Kelly would be a good mix with my daily routine as an aerospace engineer in the cubicle world. Could be therapeutic in a way to break that routine with some humor and a good workout.

      at least when the push come to shove he can man up, defend himself and hes comfortable in his own skin, and can express himself in any way he chooses.. that's what boxing allows you. to do what you want and have the confidence .. that's freedom man, which is why eric has so much fun. All being a banker does is give you an drug and attitude problem.

      You don’t have to pick one or the other. You can get to where you are a solid boxer that can hold his own in the ring with most people and still have the skill set of being a trader or investor. It just depends on what you want to do with your free time. Do you want to go home and be comfortable at the end of work or do you want to harden yourself and go through some adversity before you call it a day.
