I cried watching sanniesss part too. Omg. My brain can't handle any of this amazing storyline anymore. But i saw something on the bird app which explains Sanniesss scene at the mv. It goes like this "The resistances who revolted against the government tried to pull the chain to bring the moon down (the eye watching them) but they failed. san gave up on his life to save everyone alone. he was so desperate and screaming in pain." And san’s magnificent acting gave me goosebumps. I think they should give san another acting project. And thank you andie and jas for another wonderful reaction. Happy new year and hope y'all have an amazing 2023 ahead of you 😊
The moon-like figures are actually large ass beads that are packed with blue energy (compressed inside is ppl's emotion that these beads gradually absorbed since they started brainwashing ppl) since the gravity is lost, these beads are deem to dissapear. I've also read that the energy is the answer or the thing that could help them in revolting against the Strictland government. maybe that's why there's a scene where San is trying so hard pulling that single bead as much as he can. I've also read these in twitter :)
maybe you already saw this but there is a theory that it's not a moon, it's beads that are filled with human energy, like the feelings that are stolen from the people. and breaking these is the first step of saving everyone!
Just an additional comment to the "scarecrow". In my country during the summer solstice there's this tradition to build this scarecrow and it represents winter, death and the grim reaper. You burn the scarecrow to represent that winter and death are over and summer and life are coming back. Which fits with the whole message of killing off all the bad stuff and bringing back emotions and light
Same jas I thought he would gonna die and I got emotional on that scene and then the dance break pops up. Halazia is soooo addicting! This is my new fav fr
Hearts Awakened, Love Alive "Zia is a Latin name for boys and girls. The meaning is `light, splendor`" Perfect song, lyrics, performance, acting, lore. Top tier 4th gen group.
In Slavic pagan traditions there is such a holiday - Maslenitsa. Its main attribute is a scarecrow - a symbol of the powers of the ancient goddess of death and cold Morana. Which must be burned. The pagans believed that the cyclical rebirth comes through death. With a burnt effigy, all the troubles, illnesses, failures and misfortunes of the past left.
Thanks for the reaction and your interpretation of the lyrics. It got me thinking. Maybe since he's been glitching, Seonghwa is part of the Halateez that was accidentally sent to this world. He was going to travel with Yeosang but something happened and the cromer broke. SH is stuck in this world, only left with the remnants of Halateez. So he's been laying guard infront of his old costume. In that time, he created a group around it, spreading the words of dissent against the current world. In a sense, he became like the mouth of "God" (Halateez) Then as the inhabitants of the world begin to wake up, due to their actions, they go to him for guidance.
That is literally the best explanation I've heard for this scene!! That makes so much sense omg! It makes SO MUCH SENSE!! I hope that's what it is. That would be INSANE ❤️
Them praying is bang on. The entire music and all it's technicalities intensifies as they're praying. The entire song builds and is like a prayer. Then at that one point, San get's his last little bit of energy and like you said Jas, he gives his ALL and EVERYTHING in him to bring that ball down, aka the imbalance. "They," "them," Ateez aka the 8 (shoutout to SVT) gathered all the young people they saved from the the brain washing system (aka the Prestige Academy) in the Guerrilla MV together here. And you can tell that all these people wearing the blue capes here in the Halazia MV are the same young people from the Guerrilla MV because they are wearing the same cloaks but now with a little more color. Then they all gathered together here in an effort to unify and rebel against the system and forcefully bring down that ball and reintroduce gravity to the world, and with it the emotions and color to the world also. Everything in this MV relates to all the past MV's and it is just amazing. The hour glass was used to travel through dimensions which is why when his broke at the end of Deja Vu MV he is stuck sitting in the sand in the Halazia MV. And don't even mention the glitching omg lol I can't handle. Halazia MV is set in the future where Ateez have travelled through all these different universes and dimensions in some previous MV's to get different pieces and/or experience and knowledge needed to travel to the future and save the world from complete abomination. Where some previous MV's are journeys they've had in pursuit of pieces for this event to take place. Some other MV's emote what the old world was like when it had the color and emotion. When they mention wanting to breath and dream what they want to dream I can't help but think of some other previous MV's where some may seem to not be related, but they are actually what they were in pursuit of or dreaming of such as the feelings, colors, music. Like how they're singing, dancing, swimming, driving, listening to music, dreaming and feeling all their senses in the all colorful Wave MV. The scarecrow in Halazia is 100% a representation of the Halateez. If you look closely in the Say My Name video you'll notice that their shadows are Halateez with the shape of the fedora's (the big hats) being in their shadows while they're not actually wearing them while dancing. I mean Say My Name MV and Halazia MV are definitely cousins lol. As for the white masked man, I have no idea 😂This is spectacular. Finally found some people on my wave length. Everything is subjective and this is just my opinion. Soz for the tmi. Borahae 💜
The four guys at the end, I do think they are the kids but the kids that are from the school but they are slowly awakening because if you remember the Kingdom performance, the Answer: Ode to Joy, LA Poem was witnessing ATEEZ fighting with the mask guys, even now they are witnessing ATEEZ trying to balance everything like gravity and I don't know what's really happening but yeah the 4 guys, I think they are the awakened children and I think they know what's happening because they are always witnessing everything. I dont know😅😅
What i love about Jas and Andy is they don't only react funnily but also point out the lyrics and meaning of the song in a more simpler way so I can understand!! Thanxx so much for this! 😭
I have been so hesitant to look into Ateez because I knew I would love them and I didn't know if I could handle two boy groups (I am Stay too). But it's like having another kid. My love just grew, lol. I kept seeing this MV everywhere and I finally just decided to watch it and it is just so amazing. I play the song over and over in the car. Now I am catching up on the lore and watching all the things and I love them so much. I wish I had someone in my real life that I could show it to and they would love it too! This video transcends music videos.
I feel the same way too! My family and friends look at me like I'm crazy because I watch K-drama and listen to k-pop. There's a huge world of music and life to experience outside of the mainstream of just your immediate culture. I also stan Stray Kids, BTS, and TXT. My biases are Woo Young, Changbin and Han, Gyu and Jhope.😂😂
@@loisgoodmovies8474 Most everyone I know thinks it's silly. My husband doesn't know at all, lol. My Ult Bias is Captain Kim Hongjoong. He really took over. It wasn't my fault, lol. Hyunjin is my SKZ bias, with Han in a very close second.
Andy, good catch about the camera move at the start of Yunho’s first scene where it was like it just flipped over (as when you turn over an hourglass. It reinforces the theory that this world without gravity in SPIN OFF is a new dimension that got messed with as a result of Yeosang breaking the Cromer and flipping it over just before. Maybe a rift dimension caused by ATEEZ and HALATEEZ traveling through so many different dimensions? (Or more likely, due to breaking the Cromer)
Finally 🤩 I’ve been waiting for you guys reaction 😊 This CB is crazy .. Hala hala hala halazia kept playing in my head right now 🥰🥰 Love how they express this song with full of emotion and powerful at the same time 🤗
@@itsandyandjas ikr that part is addicting hahahahaha 🤣🤣 I always enjoy your reaction .. It’s a bit gloomy here at work place but you both make my day with your reaction and with ateez cb 🥰
I just love watching you react. Ateez has some of the most amazing videos-even if they leave more questions than answers. This song has everything I love. The vocals are so pleasing-especially Yeosang’s deep parts and all those runs Jongho makes.

Listening to the album and Take Me Home is on there for a reason. Talking about leaving the gray city to go to a place in their memory. Over and over again. Maybe it’s reincarnation with no memory? Seonghwa posing in front of the scarecrow was Christ-like. .. *looks at pile of notes and theories, throws them everywhere* I need this story in the form of a children’s flip book.
The lyrics to this song are pretty powerful. I think the song has a certain sadness but the lyrics have some hope. All I can get from the storyline-the revolution hasn’t gone well and they are looking for the hope to carry on.
YES JAS!! I was thinking that the word/phrase "Halazia" sounds like a prayer and the thought I had was that Halateez were martyred and their entire idea of freedom of expression and to feel emotion had ascended to a divine status. It's so much and it's so so hard to get my thoughts in order when the entire thing makes me feel so emotional.
HOW CAN YOU ALL NOT GO OFF WHEN YEOSANG WAS SINGING IN THE LOWEST VOICE POSSIBLE AND THEN JUNGHO CAME WITH HIS HIGH NOTES?????????? I was dying y´all haha
10:01 HOW HAVE I NEVER COME ACROSS YOUR CHANNEL???? Your love and interest in ateez lore makes me so happy 😭😭 and as someone who can’t speak Korean I love how you guys dissected some of the lyrics. Catch me binging the rest of your ateez reactions 🧍🏻♀️ And as a Yunho bias it made me so happy that you got excited when he came on 🥲
I just can’t with these guys… this is so epic! I adored everything about this. I got scared for San too.. I thought he was going die when that sphere dropped. Incredible just incredible. 😍😍😍
If you also caught the sound too right before San began to pull the moon down the beat and sound were from the very end of Guerrilla when the child walked past the fence. I absolutely LOVE your reactions! I felt the same way as Jas through it all. Sans acting was on point and made me emotional because you could feel the struggle he was having in that moment
So based on a different prospective the government has locked out the emotions of people. The world isn't letting them feel and so ateez is trying so hard to get their emotions back. This song is from the prospective of the people crying out in different ways to wake up those locked away emotions! The ending of that ball is the emotions they're trying to bring down, desperate to get it down and each verse and change is like shaking them up to wake up and unlock. Those feelings, so when the emotions finally came with the crazy way music gave them the strength for San to unleash those emotions... Now he was woken up. The whole time they were revolting against the government/those in power that took their emotions away, they are revolting to feel. And music gave them that ability and strength to gather everyone together to win their emotions back.
It felt like some voodoo stuff was going on!!! The halateez scarecrow was chained up and so was Yeosang. Wooyoung lit the hat on fire and then the halateez scarecrow was on fire in the next few frames. Voodoo allows you to connect with "spirits" (halateez) through dance, music, and chanting rituals.
What you've been missing was in the prologue before the Halasia teasers. The Halasia Spin-off that begins right in the nearly end of Inception (in the clip you can see things floating in the end.) Also in the prologue you have the scene when the Cromer that the Yeosang spins in Deja-vu breaks, after this comes the words "The world loses gravity and people lose emotion but people did nothing but wait for them (Halateez) to come back, knowing they would never come back." And in the teaser it makes it seem like the only person who knows what happened to them and the cromer is Yeosang. Then the prologue goes on to say that "Amidst the desolate hope the great sound of a bell resounds through the air, and the new EIGHT have made their appearance. Halasia resounds as if it were a "religious movement" where each of the members, leading the people, believing that together they can restore the legacy of the world that the Halateez left behind. In "the Real" Yeosang is the only one who watches from afar when the rest of the six are putting their hands together. I mean litterally in the next frame Yeosang looking likehe already expected them together. Or Yeosang is litterally the one Halateez original or he's part of something bigger because dude he in golden chains behold the halateez scarecrow IS GODLY ASF, he was like lost staring at the scarecrow but at the same time that f*cking thing WAS really like him in chains. Also in Deja Vu in the scene that one drone scans Ateez. Only Hongjoong, Yunho and Yeosang's face get recognized, we knos that is because Yunho is traped in the Cromer and Hongjoong stole the cromer. But Yeosang was freeded from the hourglass and if you look closer there is some levels "threats" (I'll assume that is level threats) in the members face and in Yeosangs face it seems that he has more LVs than Yunho and Hongjoon. Also there's some lyrics in the music about they don't knowing if that was an Illusion or a Illness "that" could also be associated with people starting to feel the world. Not to mention that we all know that HALA means hearts awakened live alive so the this is them. living this dreamed fantasy... omg i'm beyond salvation at this poiny
the kids are the witness of the gravity coming back on earth, i think san sacrified himself to bring it back. Even in the dance break he was in the middle, like they were somehow giving him to that sort of ball
This was the first song I've heard of Ateez (outside of Kingdom), Yeosang and Mingi drew me and Seonghwa closed the door.. I cannot understand why these guys dont get more love and attention, they are amazing! Love your reactions btw!!!!
You guys always say things that I can relate and your reactions just wow! Moreover when you interpret Korean to English, amazing. I feel hype, happy and sad at the same time watching the mv. I cried at the end lol😭
I appreciate your reactions SO much because I always wonder if some messages might be lost in translation, but you break down the Korean lyrics - THANK YOU 😍❤
Thank you for the fantastic reaction. I've never not been entertained watching your ateez reactions. San's acting in the mv is so powerful. My eyes immediately welled up in tears watching tt moon/orb drop on him. Ateez' storytelling thru their performance is top tier. I'm so proud to be Atiny.
I was confused when I watch san's part, it's like your reaction are combination of my reaction. on the other side I feel so emotional to see San trying to hard to keep their world and the other safe by HIMSELF but the other side of me is just wanna enjoy and hyping to the song
i feel like i just keep getting more and more moved by this track the more i listen to/watch it????? halazia is truly something magnificent (i also think i say this after every ateez release lmao) and it's reactions like yours that help me to appreciate and love it even more than i did originally!! thank you for the video!!

omg thank you for taking the time to explain some of the lyrics. it gives so much more depth. i think this might be one of my fave reactions yall have done!!
First of all let me tell you sth, Andy is so smart and Jas is so sweet and together you are perfect! Every girl should find an Andy in her life and every guy should find a Jas in his (smart, caring and loves Ateez). now let's talk about this reaction, it was the best reaction, so informative and elaborated many points and Jas was the only one to point that Yunho was inside the cromer, and the way Andy translated the lyrics was more clear than the MV subs and gave me different perspective and I really want to see such things more! every minute in this reaction video was precious and I did not skip and then watched it again and I just felt I want those guys to keep talking! Thank you guys so much for reacting and sharing with us
Guys - your reactions are off the flippin charts insane! Every 👏🏼 time 👏🏼! Thank you for always taking the time to explain the context behind the lyrics for us! You’re amazing 🔥🔥🔥
I love listening to your theories ☺Cuz we can easily get lost with everything. Also, just wanted to point out like when WooSanHo were dancing 2gether, San stabs himself...like is it a hint of him sacrificing himself🤔🤔 Because just like during their Kingdom performance of Answer, San threw himslef at the masked man, so that was probably another hint💀
I think they are reminiscing their Halateez since they are d3ad in Halahala ending? The scarecrow had the halateez costume and like in prologue they're telling halateez won't comeback bcs they're gone already and the new are coming. The halateez scarecrow control seonghwa as if they are now the future which halateez trusted.
The song is a Masterpiece. Vocals, Raps, Dancing and Visuals. I thought they couldn't top Guerilla, but I was wrong. This song is fire🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It clearly exceeded Guerrilla in all aspects imo
I really love how you guys expanded on Hongjoong's rap and it makes more sense now than what the subs say.

This song is now my favorite title track!! It's so freakin awesome !
It had me in tears too. I relate too much to these lyrics. Just another reason Ateez is my favorite group out there!
Love everything about this song and MV. thanks as always for the commentary on the lyrics. Your reactions are always so helpful.
Aw of course~ thank you for listening 🥹🙏❤️
ATEEZ brought another masterpiece how this is possible OMG
I feel like San sacrificed himself 😭
This was the first song I've heard of Ateez (outside of Kingdom), Yeosang and Mingi drew me and Seonghwa closed the door.. I cannot understand why these guys dont get more love and attention, they are amazing!
Love your reactions btw!!!!
I think this is my favorite song and music video of theirs. The song, the lyrics, the story, EVERYTHING is next level.
Thanks for mentioning the prayer parts of this. I definitely got that worshipful vibe from it. You validated my impression.
It was midnight when this song came out i was WAITING for this to drop but the wait was worth it to see my baes. went to bed at 2 in the morning 😭😭😭
You explaining the lyrics is what i love the most in your reactions. Thank you very much and Happy New Year!
You guys always say things that I can relate and your reactions just wow! Moreover when you interpret Korean to English, amazing. I feel hype, happy and sad at the same time watching the mv. I cried at the end lol😭
I think San went to a different dimension. All the people around him disappeared and he disappeared to the people around him.
I appreciate your reactions SO much because I always wonder if some messages might be lost in translation, but you break down the Korean lyrics - THANK YOU 😍❤
So, Halazia... Hala + zia (the sun/compass/directions). I love their creativity.
Creo que Jas nos representa a Todos, realmente no sabia que sentía era una mezcla extraña. Ateez son lo mejor!!
This song is top notch

ATEEZ te transmite tantas cosas en 4 minutos,
STAN ATEEZ GENTE🔥
Yo fui ella ya iba a llorar cuando San apareció jalando la luna y después que viene en break dance y me puse a bailar 😂
omg thank you for taking the time to explain some of the lyrics. it gives so much more depth. i think this might be one of my fave reactions yall have done!!
Todos fuimos Jas en ese momento JAJAJAJA JAS TE AMO
Thank you guys so much for reacting and sharing with us
Atp manifesting your interactions with Ateez…will love the chaosness
I think Halazia are the new 8.
I think Halateez are either dead or well captured and Halazia-the new 8 have taken on the revolution.
Awww andy so sweet offer his shoulder to cry on, i do feeling so emotional too when i though san gonna die. Again.
🥺❤️
Guys - your reactions are off the flippin charts insane! Every 👏🏼 time 👏🏼! Thank you for always taking the time to explain the context behind the lyrics for us! You’re amazing 🔥🔥🔥
AHHHH AAHHHHH ATEEZ SLAYSSSSSSSS SLAYSSSSSSSS ☺🥰🥰❤
Abrazo desde Argentina¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ me encantan verlos, y la emocion para mis NIÑOS LUZ. Exitos y abrazos grandes
Ateez changed my life
San's sacrifice 😔💔
I love listening to your theories ☺Cuz we can easily get lost with everything. Also, just wanted to point out like when WooSanHo were dancing 2gether, San stabs himself...like is it a hint of him sacrificing himself🤔🤔 Because just like during their Kingdom performance of Answer, San threw himslef at the masked man, so that was probably another hint💀
"That's a flower by the way." Why did you laugh so hard? 😆🙈
In the final, they're the witness who watch San sacrifice😭❤️
I LOVE this
I think they are reminiscing their Halateez since they are d3ad in Halahala ending? The scarecrow had the halateez costume and like in prologue they're telling halateez won't comeback bcs they're gone already and the new are coming. The halateez scarecrow control seonghwa as if they are now the future which halateez trusted.
