I love the head designs of the Emissaries. They’re the same, classic unmasked looks that we all know and love, but with additional details to make ‘em stand out from the crowd.
The Emissary Predator figure is quite impressive. The sculpt and paint are done really well. I like the military outfit. The Modified M240 Machine gun is nicely detailed. Having a 2nd head sculpt is always a major plus. Otherwise, thanks again Spot!
Just a tought but the next predator in a movie should be left handed like this one :P Also the color pallets of these two reminded me of the bad guys from Ice age 2
I've been searching for a NECA Pred with a removable mask instead of just different heads. Can anyone tell me if there are any? Also, if there are, which ones?
This channel makes me want to collect the predator line. I saw these in Target when looking for some neca figs, I thought they were interesting but did like them for some reason. But the review of both the emissary figures make me reconsider picking them up. Personally, The Predator figures was just as boring as the actual movies. But actually seeing them via tour videos, they're alot more interesting that I initially gave them credit for being.
Update, I started to collect and 2 weeks later I have 10 with more on the way! I also decided to pop on these and get both, and as I expected. I was still underwhelmed by them as a whole but appreciate them for their uniqueness
@@TheReviewSpot They just seem suspiciously more detailed and their paint application more refined lol this assuming their is a deal in place with youtubers to promote the brand with high quality early rollout. Could be it is simply the case that all the units just vary in paint quality (You open them up in a store for example they all look different) or the lighting setup you got here for presentation renders them more cleanly way less imperfections overall. For example mine is a bit more scattered when it comes to the gloss finish for certain areas of the sculpt and the unmasked head paint is a little less refined, not enough to make it defective just a bit annoying lol. (It is a genuine purchase) Fine an all but I'm envious of the quality of these ones in your vid. You seem lucky haha.
You can blame Fox and a moronic test audience for why all the footage shot with the Emissary Predators was deleted, not to mention the entire third act having to be redone. I would still love to see the original cut of The Predator with the Emissaries and such. It frankly sounded and even looked from the snippets seen in the trailer a lot more interesting than the theatrical cut.

I just got the emissary 2 and it's ok. The jaw is a little bigger than the usual look but it will be a good figure to add to the collection.
