I had a hard time calculating the total number of cells. Do I add the number of mitotic cells to the total number of cells in interphase, then divide mitotic cells by the total number of cells, and multiply times 100?

How might you consider cells in prophase? Aren't the darker nuclei with visible condensed lines/DNA in prophase?

So when it asks for number of cells with viable chromosomes it's referring to either Prophesy,metaphysical,anaphase or telophase?

The number of cells that are in mitosis include those in prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase.

My bio teacher said the equation for the number of cells in mitosis is P+M+A+T... hopefully this helps somebody somewhere.
