Miragens - Onde dormem os sonhos

O vídeo trata da exposição Miragens - onde dormem os sonhos, de Lilian Maus e curadoria de Gabriela Motta, realizada no mês de abril de 2024 em Porto Alegre, na Ocre Galeria. A mostra reúne trabalhos dos últimos três anos, cruzando fenômenos naturais relacionados às águas, documentos históricos e fábulas da região de Osório, litoral norte gaúcho, com outras referências de viagens e paisagens ligadas ao percurso poético de Lilian. Baiana de nascimento, a artista usa o deslocamento como método de trabalho e suas andanças reverberam em pinturas, instalações e vídeos, obras impregnadas de múltiplas temporalidades. A perspectiva onírica, como não poderia deixar de ser, inunda a atmosfera do ambiente.

From her attentive look at the fauna, flora, legends and stories from the region, Lilian has been producing a work that intertwines seen and. dreamt landscapes. The exhibition ‘Mirages - where dreams sleep’, currently on display at Ocre Gallery, brings together a selection of works developed in the last three years, crossing natural phenomena related to water, historical documents and fables from the region of Osório, on the north coast of Rio Grande do Sul, with other references of the artist, linked to her poetic path. Born in the state of Bahia, the artist employs displacement as a work method and their wanderings reverberate in paintings, installations, and videos, artworks infused with multiple temporalities.
