So rad dude! I think your review was the first time I really saw them in action. I'll come try them in the gym soon, going full siege mode on a project before it gets hot...
I'd love them too except the PD 75 last just doesn't work for me. Too narrow and pointy. Have you considered the Theory? Softer toe box and more aggressive than the Futura, also with a stiffer heel and bigger toe patch.
Actually haven't used them at the gym yet. I'm only climbing outside right now until it get too hot. I'd imagine they will do pretty well. I think La Sportiva was going after the Comp(etition) market.
I climbed almost exclusively in the gym on a pair of these for 8.5 months and they just now are starting to wear through. super good gym shoe (especially as a comp climber.) I downsized 2 sizes for the first pair and 2.5 for the second cause they stretch quite a bit.
I looking for a new shoe. I had a 41,5 Skwama loved it! The S-Heel fits me bombers. And the Performance in the Gym was really nice. Now the Shoe is worn out. So i am looking for a new Soft Gym shoe. Currently got these in my eyes: Solution Comp, Instinct VSR, Skwama again. I got a wide foot thats why i took the skwama the breakin was still a pain for my wide foot. I want to try something new should i go with Instinct or Comp. How would i size them?
The Instinct VSR will be harder as compatibility for wider feet, me myself I have less wider feet, and the Instinct fitted as a glove, but if I'd have wider feet, I'd rather look for this solution comp or something
Different closure, thinner midsole, unlined, S-Heel, and the cut out in the ball of your foot. I don't own a pair, I'm just going off of specs. @@BomberBeta ah I had the updated normal solutions and loved them in terms of performance but straps broke off after 2 months - due to "aggressive" toe hooking. 100% I admit I'm not a super stronger climber (max v5 outdoors) and lack precision but I do kind of expect climbing shoes to take a beating especially when I'm trying to push above my grade. Heard it's a common problem though and wish La Sportiva would just make the strap abit more burly and hard wearing.
That's too bad! I agree, the shoes should be able to stand up to some reasonable abuse. If the strap starts to rip I will make sure to post a comment and pin it. Thanks for the heads up!
Do NOT buy this shoe. The strap design is flawed and the grommets wear through the strap very quickly. You cannot repair it yourself - you have to take to a cobbler to have a new strap installed and La Sportiva refuses to warranty the product. They claim it's "wear and tear". I bought a pair for my son and the straps broke in 4 months (indoor climbing only). La Sportiva customer service has been completely unhelpful (and kind of rude, to boot).

What is your normal foot size? What would be the perfect solution comp size for you?
Please mention street size and downsize.

The Theory is on the list! So many good options on the La Sportiva line! Thanks for the suggestion Harlow!
What do you think about slab with those shoes? I usually use skwama
How did these preform in the gym for you? I prefer rocking them outdoors forsure!

hi, did u resize from solution to solution comp? thanks
They are surprisingly comfortable for me too.
Did you downsize cause these mess up my feet😭
Hey ! What are the laces dimensions ? Thanks
Yo dude how long do they last before u have to resole them
I'm at around 4 months of outdoor bouldering. No signs of needed a resole anytime soon.

And is there any Unparrallel shoes that are for wide feet? Alot of really strong climbers said to me those shoes are great!

Difference between solution comp and skwama?

@@BomberBeta thanks for the information!!!
hello i recently got into climbing and am looking for good shoe, price doesn’t matter. would y recommend this one or another?
As a begginer Its better to go with a softer shoe like skwama or python
Did they fix the general strap issue? only thing I hate about the solutions.
I haven't run into any issues with the strap so far.

everything sounds super subjective

🤣you can technically repair it yourself.
