I find the shield at 4 much better, because every potion does +140 base, which is more than half of one of the rubies, and you don't have to wait for the ruby cooldown, or try to hit several members for it. The regen one is almost as good, plus gives a bit of mana, great if you have anyone that's also a mana-hog on the team. At 10, lorenado is my preferred, with it's 30 second cool down, you can use it with your w/e to delay objectives, you can use it to grab people who are running, and you can use it to peel for yourself if you're running. All the while, you don't have to stop and stand still like you do with stay a while. You had some great plays with stay a while, but if the fights were more even, too often in random teams, your team may wake up more than one person at a time, or the opposite team could have someone avoid your sleep all together, and you're stuck standing still. The 20 pick is pretty impressive, but you need to take ruby for that to work, meanwhile the bottomless potions with shields would have kept you alive just as long at the end, especially if you have the stun on the auto attack. Or you could just be spamming out lorenados if you get that 20.
Deckard is my fave healer when I am not in a good mood. Because I can just throw the potions and my allies can go get it themselves. Also, I find that going E than W works better most of the time, specially with quick cast on, to get people in your root. And it enables Cube Mastery on level 7, that paired with Field Study and Scroll of Stone Curse allows you to dish out a lot of damage in crowded team fights.
One of my favorite healer with... well yeah sooo much utility and the best part is even if you get focused you can still heal! i reaaaly like the extra regen and mana on 4 because it can help Deckard be longer in the fights too getting some mana back especially if all other ally also has mana so even they can be longer in the fight! (its also pretty good if you are facing lots of ranged enemy because then hitting them with ruby is not as effective while the extra regen will always be effective inside and outside of fights!) I fully agree with ultimate the lorenado is fun and it can be even a great pick in couple of maps and match ups but overall the other one is sooo much more usefull and has so much more... well utility i quess. As for 16 if you have a lot of rotating hero or Abathur or just need that extra stun picking up that talent can be more usefull than the safety one it helped me get a lot of escape on me on my allies and some kills too especially against channel abilites
Deckard with bottomless greater potions can do quite well in the raw healing category even if you do kill him his potions will remain. Though his healing can be denied by teammates simply not paying attention to the potions. Or by being displaced away from them.
Hi. I recently discovered your videos about HoTS. You are playing very good, and explaining all synergies and skill after a game is what I’m looking for. How often you upload new content? Are you still playing HoTS? And most important questions: what is your favorite hero and what characters would you like to add to pool? Thanks sub like etc under all clips 😎🤘
I'm more of the Utility build Deckard where I spam out Ws like it's going out of style so I can lower the enemy team's armor. I usually prefer to take the shield talant at 4 , but Ruby healing really is not bad.
I think rejuvenation potion can be a viable option with its mana recovery but I think you would want a double healer comp for it to be worth passing on ruby.
I believe you are fundamentally wrong about everything you attempted to justify with your abysmal Deckard build. Ruby is only useful if your teammates are in the fight... No. I will not have it. But that's also why this game is fun, we can have different builds (mine is superior). Love the videos, thank you!
"Press Q. Thanks for watching."
😆
I wasn't planning on ever using this hero but you've really changed my mind man. Going to give him a go! Thanks for the great content as usual.

Thanks so much for the guide!
Learned a lot.
Do you see? Do you see whats wrong with deckard? Do you see? That was a red dragon moment, everyone was taped to a chair.

How to heal Deckard Cain?
1)Put your mouse cursor on Deckard Cain
2)Use healing ability
Or
1) press Alt+Q
it's funny how few people know about the Alt+Q trick!
Cain is so fun to play. Quite tanky just running around chugging pots and bonking them with the stun staff =D
My favourite potion seller 😎
Hi from Ukraine thanks

Can you make a Kharazim video next? It's the healer I find the hardest to play
Dekerd cain is the goat, without him, diablo and the forces of hell would've won long ago.
Respect to cain.
Oh you didn't mention it in the intro but you can only use 1 gem at a time and all 3 of them double the damage of your empowered cube.
Hi, I have a video idea:
A team that "goes bigger" with their ults, aka Tassadar, Tychus, Alextraza, Muradin and Reghar?
He does have burst healing tho what do you mean?
