I'm getting ready to replace all my seacocks on my Alberg 30, as they are all very old. How long did it take for doing all the thru hulls? Not the prep work, but the installation.
As you know, it's the prep work that takes all the time. As far as actual installation with my wife up on the boat helping, we probably had all four installed in less than an hour.

Agree that crossing the cockpit drain hoses would not be good storage - rather install a back flow prevention device.
I hadn't heard of using one on a drain like this. Interesting.
@@sailingaquamarie1708 my impression galley sinks sometimes fill with water mostly from the hull heeling so back flow devices prevent that.
