When finally you can't pay the three and a half grand any longer, you can always do one over that low balcony handrail.
In Britain we don't have mental health services, we just charge this for an apartment and see who will pay it. Then we know who needs help.
Urbanisation, is and always has been, a central plan to grind us down to generic drones. It's no wonder we're all crazy when we crowd ourselves into ultra-densely packed areas and then get surprised when we feel like we live in a claustrophobic any colony

I actually worked on this project😄. Was a manager organising the internal works. Shout out to the Harbour Central Team 👍🏾.
That’s awesome. Was it a project manager role and if so how did you come across the the position, if you don’t mind me asking?
I work across As a manager doing small works in the already finished buildings that have been there for 10+years , I always look over and think , I don’t miss working on those super huge building sites , and that one in particular is the biggest project in Europe
Explains why it is so shit then.

I am just a 13 year old watching this and thinking about future plans.
Why not thinking for the further 👊👊
if you cant afford to buy two, you cant afford it.
I’m 11 and I love these videos
@@gurujojo8992 you're a complete fool.

You guys always make my week with your uploads and give me ideas for my future house. So thank you for all your hard work.
I'm a Londoner and I've not heard once, of a person in my life who has mentioned that they would want to live in that area, the only people who live in Canary Wharf are high paid overseas business workers who have their companies pay for the rent as part of their compensation package or companies renting out accommodations for clients for overnight stays.
For £3500 a month, you can get a much nicer apartment/flat closer to central London.
Totally agree! I’m Norf London born and bred and don’t know one Londoner that’s ever moved to this location and trust me I have pals that have smashed it financially. My Mrs had a friend that moved there so went to check it out- it was a full on international market of residents no Brits at all from what I saw. At night it’s soulless- empty streets no shops just roads full of high rise office blocks and apartments. Not for me!!!
@@Jk-ns8mx the area is dead and too work, work, work orientated especially when you just want to chill.
I live in the area. I have British and London-born friends who also live in the area. It definitely is business oriented, with that said, there are plenty of good estaurants and bars (before Corona). It is a 'new' area and great leisure are being brought in as we speak.
@@Jk-ns8mx As much as I admire the landscape and architecture of Canary Wharf I'd have to agree. It is very much dead at night and is mainly a place that is occupied during the day by workers.
I love that you guys take off you’re shoes in every apartment really professional ✨🤞
Glad you guys have grown as much as you have and have settled this style of video. I remember before you had some videos that were kind of overproduced. Wonderful relaxed style you have now!
I love Canary Wharf because is so modern and beautiful 👌🏻😍👍🏻🏙
I actually got goose pimples when Matt walked out onto that balcony!
Waaaaaaaaay too high up for me!
Same here. Great apartment but the heights are a bit too much.
Yeh. I always think, damn if you and your mates have one too many drinks. It's dangerous.
Aww I agree ....
First time hearing them being called 'pimples' rather than bumps
That's a good take in the channel.
Exploring different areas and their rental prices. Would love to see more of these .. 🤙🏻🤙🏻
I was never really interested in property until I started watching your videos! Now I'm constantly researching about them hahaha😂
That balcony scares the hell out of me. So high up!
I love the format too your videos guys, keep up the great work!
Another good tour Matt & Summer. Loving your channel brightening up my lockdown days at home
Hi
You Guys are really doing a wonderful job.I love how you go through every detail of the properties. I would like to know if there are any wheelchair friendly properties you could cover . Thanks
Another amazing video, thank you Matt and Summer! Please try to tour the new Wardian towers, Hampton tower and landmark pinnacle. They are all a stone's throw from that building and they are exceptional! (I live in Baltimore Wharf and have been looking at all these new developments, they are great).
Big up summer always remembering the floor plan 😂🤟🏽
Great video keep it up always love the content. Lovely 🏠.
I enjoyed watching the Video Tour. One of the best London Apartment
Hi Matt and Summer to start off with congratulations on hitting 1 million views on the knoll property video. The asking price for this property isnt too bad £1,200 each person just need a decent job paying London wages and some. Thanks for sharing
do apartment tours in stratford. Some really good modern apartments in the E15 area. great video :)
small overpriced box… London market is crazy
Location....literally is in financial district
It’s dissent and the price is good! 3 good sized bedrooms, family bathroom, en-suite bathroom, on the 37th Floor with great views throughout the flat. 💕💕 And the price for all of that in that area is a steal! Oh and the wrap around terrace!!! 💕
And across the road are the council tenants in new builds paying £50 a month rent.
Well said sir 👌🏻 I know who I’d rather be!
I worked as a teacher there. It's bizzare walking through the super lux part and then straight into some of the poorest parts of London.
@@LexMan82 just highlights the class system that decides who has better opportunities in life.
Yes Canary Wharf is an interesting place indeed. The financial district area (Canada Square) is the glamourised part. However a 20 minute walk out of that area will you show how it is encompassed by poorer older looking council estates. That sums up the Isle of Dogs in general.
@@LexMan82 I wouldn’t say this flat is opulent for 3.5k
Beautifully interior design in this apartment and what a view from the balcony. I am loving the apartment tours and I’m so impressed with the layout of this apartment and some great natural light throughout. I do prefer the apartment yesterday but this is also very nice. Great job 👏👏
Maine Tower is one of the lower spec new builds in Canary Wharf. You want something premium you'd need to be looking at Wardian, SQP and One Park Drive.
That balcony shook matt for a moment, temporary vertigo was apparent as he got to the edge. great vid as usual
I’m low-key in love with this apartment
No one ever seems happy in the comments about the property shown😂
😂😂😂😂😂
It's because they're all overpriced, if everything was 50% off they would be amazing houses/apartments
I think it’s great that everyone politely makes an opinion. Also, London is extremely expensive, especially central London, so no one’s ever going to be happy with the prices 😅
Honestly ! Everythings always 'overpriced' to people who dont have money. The quicker people gain financial intelligence the better
I think the reason is because the people who can afford this lifestyle shut up, and the ones who can't are spending more time complaining about it on youtube than doing something about it.
But even if you "grind" or "hustle", you can't beat the 25 year old who inherited £500k from the bank of mum and dad. We're just upset that this is the only way to get ahead.
I would love to see you two give an apartment tour in The Wardian in Canary Wharf if possible!
That's where I live
@@phillaysheo8 Amazing!! I have lived in the area my whole life and have seen the rise of all the Apartments/Offices going up in recent years and I myself have always favoured The Wardian
@@samblewitt9588 Yes, I work in Canary Wharf, so the Wardian it is a nice place to live. Although, I would much prefer a penthouse flat in the building.
Love it!! 😍
Any chance you could tour some of the new apartments around Aldgate Place?
Love this
I think the kitchen and sofa is quite small for 3 people!! A lot of tech and a nice balcony though
They’re actually such good sized bedrooms for being a newer build and in London
Nice cozy apartment!
Similar setup in Athens Greece will cost around 800 euros...plus seaview and a good weather most of the time. I lived in London for 5 years in three different locations and always shared. Here back home is way better.
Hopefully you guys can get into the new Wardian towers 🤞🏼
The 3 bedrooms are of good size, not too small. Overall, for $3500 which I reckon does not include furnishing is not bad.
I love the views!
Please tour Torbay, in Devon outside exeter, there are some amazing luxury homes here and the views are stunning!
I lived next to it, same developer and they both share some commons. I saw this whole apartment built from 0% to 100%. I can tell this is one of the best in the Canary Wharf.
What’s the name of the other building? And can you like my comment when you reply so I get the notification
Will be interesting to see how demand for central apartments like this will be affected if remote working carries on
Given its Canary Wharf, this property is marketed towards financial analysts and traders. You can’t operate a HFT Terminal from your bedroom.
Damn sorry I'm late I was in school :( love from Leicester 💕
They didn't mention the non brick walls, as in you can't hang anything on the walls as it chalky, I live down the road in a new build and its the same thing
I love the windows
can you check out the wardian opposite novotel
Love it 👌🏾
Will it be available from January 2022 ?
Please do some in South Kensington or Greenwich
A nice grey apartment to live out your nice grey life
Anywhere in Canary Wharf, Canning Town and Royal Docks would be worth showing thanks.
Lol, good one. Hope you own the flat that you are trying to rent out. Also how is the cladding?
I'm sure three Canary Wharf traders or IT contractors would see this as a potential flat share as OKish for London rates. But I wonder if given the events of the last year, there is quite as much demand for modest £3500 a month apartments as had been planned.
It's a very beautiful house...❤️❤️❤️
Could you do somewhere in Yorkshire? I’m thinking Harrogate, Skipton, Wetherby or Ilkley!
Just turn Emmerdale on, lad
I fell in love with London homes😻
Very small apartment.Nothing amazing but the view is beautiful.
Another great home tour. Thanks to you both.
Can you visit the town houses in royal wharf :) 10 mins from Canary Wharf
Way too high up for me. I felt sick when you went out onto the balcony x You couldnt pay me £3.5 k to step out there
I seriously want to do luxury house tours as estate agent in the future and start it on UA-cam.
Beautiful.
Great Vid Matt and Summer. My opinion on this property - its nice, modern but its small and overpriced = Welcome to London/Canary Wharf
Those double bedrooms are not really that double though, are they?
Love yout cids guys.. 😁
You should check out properties in Scotland for around 250k but staying away from the big cities.
Looks a fantastic apartment although needs to be about 30 stories lower for a vertigo sufferer like me!!
Actually I think this property is very specific for young professionals and to share, they mostly aren’t at home, it would be an easier quick commute to work, the bedrooms are a good size and most young professionals except during COVID just aren’t at home much especially if you work in banking, consulting, professional services. If you earn 30-50k a year are single and under 30 then this would be great for you
This was so far back from the river I thought it was in Luton.
how much is the rent now? 5000?
Great apartment. I was disappointed with the appliances I was expecting Miele or Boch.
Thank you
Amazing flat for long time.
I couldn't lean on that banister on the balcony like Matt did 🤢, I'd have to stand back up against the wall and just look straight on. One of my brother's lives in some high rise flats on the very top floor, 24 floors I think and I stepped on the balcony and looked right over and it was horrible.
That’s actually in isle of dogs not Canary Wharf and that is a galliard homes tower development!
Can you do some in Bournemouth please!
Will you ever start touring LA?
Cost of the property?
Big up Canary Wharf!!! 😁
I got the first view wow , lovely day .
£3500 per month!
“It has draws” so there is that.
Drawers.

One of the best part of london, as an entrepreneur, for me it's a perfect place to stay
That's true, my favourite place in London is Canary Wharf because is a amazing and new place 🏙
@@Pablo260492 Agree! Also if someone is into finance etc.. it's a great place to build a good network and business contacts
The overprice is justified by good opportunities
Thanks guys great vid as always! Apartment is ok but quite a small entertaining area for the money - your paying a lot for very little from what I see on this occasion. Personally I find Docklands one of the most soulless areas of London especially at weekends or holidays when all the banking and IT geeks who inhabit these apartments go off to a more inspiring location to play on their laptops and it literally becomes a ghost town, Vastly overrated part of London IMO!!!!
Legends know summer is not coming in front of camera coz she got a cap on... like for her 👍
I live in this building! Maine Tower
Can you do some on Liverpool both house and apartment please x
Crack dens too?
There are really good deals at Canary Wharf. Have you two noticed that the prices in London are coming down?
Apartments or houses with private gardens are seeing price increases - rentals are seeing a slow down due to lots of available stock due to mass exodus out of London since Covid hit!
would be awesome to have a series more directed towards first time buyers in the capital and what they can get for < 300k in and around the city
Gonna put that balcony to use with my girl if I lived there 😉
@@Mo-zx4ez That’s not nice
Good video but show the cinematic view of rooms first then show the part where you walk us through the room.
I agree with this!
I was at school so I wasn’t early
Balcony barrier needs to be higher
A lot of broke people in the comments asking to see cheaper properties 🥴 let’s just appreciate seeing how the other half lives lol
Not the point of this channel.
@@chy.0190 it’s a broke mindset, to not want to see more than you can afford
@@officialhannahrowe nah this channel was not always catered to the most aspirational among us. Some people watch videos on this channel to see affordable houses that they see themselves living in come the future, which is imo respectfully aspirational in today's climate and not at all a broke-mindset. Plus, imagining yourself living in some elite rich person's life instead of what your life can realistically provide for you is more typically a "broke" mindset.
@@TheStoicBrowser we shall agree to disagree, I choose not to limit myself. Manifestation is more powerful than you think.
But I think because Matt and Summer tour properties at lower and higher price points this attracts both audiences, which seems to cause negativity in the comments, especially when it comes to the latter. Maybe if they stuck to just luxury or just affordable properties this clash would be avoided. Not suggesting they do this though.
@hannah rose you pretty much hit the nail on the head. They attract two completely different crowds which is causing toxicity in the comment section. But tbh comments like yours which firmly sets you against the supposed "broke" mindset crowd doesn't do anything to lessen the toxicity.
But on your point, fair enough you don't limit yourself - it's just difficult for some people to imagine a lifestyle only the celebrities/influencers they follow will ever live. The way I see it, I'll always try to be the most successful I can be, but I will always try to aim for and work towards a realistic lifestyle i would be happy with, which is not easy by any stretch. If I end up being super rich, then that's a happy bonus.
I doubt I'll ever want to pay 42k post tax in rent though unless I am genuinely earning more than 500k a year consistently.
Ok I live in a similar apartment in Manchester for 915 a month. People are getting robbed in London
As the largest city in the UK, its still cheap when compared to world wide property prices. Hence the demand of foreigners buying property. It may not look it. But London is cheap.
@@momurda6 London isnt cheap average property price is above 500k
This was designed to be an Airbnb or for business travellers.
bro i live in near that building e14 innit
Could live in a Mansion in the Midlands and North for that and it would still be cheaper. I'm curious as to how anybody could afford this rent.
