I've always thought that Miyeon is the perfect example of beautiful voice, good technique and right control of emotions. Her notes always sounds so easily delivered and her face shows so many emotions which makes it more enjoyable. She express a lot with her voice. The perfect Main Vocalist. I hope she continue to sing for a long time.
I really was so impressed she was going to sing When this rain stops because it's ridiculously HARD and she just NAILED IT! Miyeon... you just gained a huge fan right now, I'm so impressed (I mean I love (G)-IDLE and I already knew Miyeon especially in variety shows and I love her personality and herself so much but I haven't had the opportunity to see her singing such a challenging song and now I'm loving her even more)
미연 처음에 웹드에 나왔을때 진짜 이쁜 배우가 나왔다고 놀랬는데, 알고보니 아이돌 그룹이었고 심지어 메인보컬이었음. 이건 걸그룹 역사를 통틀어서 유일무이한 경우가 아닌가 싶음 ㅋㅋㅋ

Not many idols can cover Wendy's 'When This Rain Stops' because it's a hard song, but Miyeon had nailed it easily, and made it sounds like her own song. She's such a talented vocalist like Lee Mujin said.

I am always thankful when Miyeon gets to be on shows like this that showcase her amazing and unique vocals. She's so distractingly pretty that it's kind of like both her greatest blessing and biggest curse because people sometimes overlook how talented a singer she actually is. Her abilities are top tier and she's right up there among the best of the best main vocalists of any group.

평소 말할 때는 순둥순둥하다가 노래만 부르면 허스키하고 성숙해지는 반전모습 너무 좋음
her voice is exactly like red wine, her vocal tone is beautiful and deep, consistently has many wild cards to it. her range really depends and can go so deep but yet so high. her voice is just so pleasant. her voice and everything will always be more than just a pretty face.

Idle's vocal colors are so unique. They can sing and you'll know its them right away! It would be hard to cover their songs because their vocal chemistry is unmatched!
So true they have 5 completly dofferent voices thx to Soyeon who sent members to personal vocal trainers since she knew people think in kpop groups idols sound the same to create a team full of diversity. And Miyeon is the most underappreciated main vocal ever she is soooo good

In fact I this very issue has actually slapped them when it comes to covering Soojin's parts. Soyeon makes every line specific to a member so that it's always THEIR part. Minnie and Shuhua tend to be the ones who cover Soojin the most, but mostly Shuhua. She's doing a good job picking up most of those lines, but you can tell she's uncomfortable singing in that lower silky range. Again, I think she's doing great, but you can tell the difference when she's singing more recent stuff with lines that were made for her as opposed to singing Soojin's parts.
That Teenage Fantasy cover is absolutely stunning. Both Miyeon's voice and the piano arrangement are incredible.

Even if Miyeon wasn’t an idol, I feel as though she would be a UA-cam singer or something that allows her to primarily showcase her singing ; it seems she really loves to sing. 진짜 아이들이란 그룹의 보컬 강점은 저음과 중저음에서 나오는거 같음 민니의 몽환적인 음색도 저음부에서 두드러지고 우기는 아예 목소리 자체가 저음이라 말할 것도 없고 미연도 저음이랑 중저음에서 되게 유니크하면서 단단한 보이스를 보여줌
아이들의 미연이도 좋지만 혼자서도 반짝반짝 빛나는 미연이도 좋음. 언젠가 소극장 같은 곳에서 미연이 노래 원없이 들어보고 싶다

drive도 이지리스닝으로 딱 좋아서 많이 들었었는데 다음 솔로앨범 나올땐 teenage fantasy 이런 분위기의 곡으로 타이틀 해도 좋겠다 싶음... 음색이나 창법 자체가 생각보다 이런 마이너 코드에 진지한 곡이랑 엄청 잘 어울림. 와이지에서 트레이닝 오래 한 보컬이라는 느낌을 받은 게 밀고 당기는 리듬감도 굉장히 좋고.. 아무튼 그룹 내에서 모습도 좋지만 가수 미연으로 많은 활동을 보고 싶네요. 진짜 첫인상에 얼굴이 너무 예뻐서 오히려 보컬실력은 상대적으로 먼저 부각되지 못하고 손해보는 케이스라고 생각됨

Miyeon never disappoints! It seemed like she had LMJ gagged a couple times throughout the episode, lol. He was right when he said that he thinks Miyeon sounds great in a softer song, and then was right to take it back and say she sounds just as great in more powerful songs. Her voice is so elegant and beautiful, and she makes it seem so effortless. It's no wonder why the Idle members always refer to her as a princess. Also! I've always felt Miyeon would slay a Twice song and she did.
I was surprised that she shared about her experiences auditioning for YG and Cube. So awesome to see when a person passionately goes out for their dreams.
