Corruption burden - 19 billion recovered from corruption cases

The Inspectorate of Government has emphasized that lifestyle audits are essential for apprehending suspects who misuse taxpayers' money, leading to substandard service delivery to citizens.
She asserts that the syndicated form of corruption emanating from the Ministry of Finance has affected government accountability. She stated that her office has so far recovered about 29 billion and investigated over 1500 cases of corruption.
