I loved seeing everyone sitting around the table, eating and talking, laughing, and just being a family. That’s one thing that a lot of people have gotten away from. I know with having older kids they have work, school, and other activities, that it’s not always possible! ♥️
So heartwarming to see everyone happy, laughing and dancing in the kitchen. Enjoying their first meal at the dinner table I just love Crazy Pieces so much. Aaron your pasta salad looks amazing.
FUN FACT.... U don't need a green thumb for basil. Basil can pretty much die but if u water it once or twice a week it'll come back to life quickly and even grow bigger and last forever.
I've worked in many Restaurants, don't wash the meat. Washing the meat causes it to splatter and spread bacteria all over your sink , counters , and backslash which causes you extra work in sanitizing everything over and over again every time you do that.
Wait...people hate on Bella? I can't see why anyone would hate on anyone in the family. I have never heard of washing the meat first either, nor have I seen anyone I know do that. Maybe it's just an extra precaution some people take. Hey Evie, yes I have seen a solar eclipse, it's really cool! Mark, the graphics are on point today - especially the hole digging! LOL
Best time of year in Arizona to grow some BASIL! The trick to growing the best plant it to tend it! Water it and don't let it go to flower. By doing this you can bush the plant by cutting it back. After a month you'll have a huge bush ready to be harvested and dried for later.
I just wanted to tell Aurora that I think she is an amazing little girl, I don't understand why people want to talk bad about a little girl, she is the same age as my daughter and that breaks my heart. Aurora deserves every gift she is given, she is so loved by the keep it crazy community.. keep shining Aurora ❤❤❤
Don't wash your meat. You will splash bacteria from the meat onto the sink and things. Cooking it will kill bacteria. Love your new house. I'm glad you're all enjoying it!
@@littlebigkicker you can't be serious. No, you are not supposed to wash your meat and especially not with soap. That's about the dumbest thing I've heard.
I went through serve safe as I worked in a restaurant. They advise you not to wash off the meat. Yes, you can clean your hands and kitchen. It's to each there own, really. If people want to wash it off, let them, if not good to. 😄 I'm just saying with kids going in and out while they're cooking. If they use the sink and things before they get a chance to clean it, it could spread bacteria.
So glad to see Aaron looking much more rested. He looked exhausted on the last video and was kind of worriesome. I guess its the RN in me. Aaron is very quiet and just keeps working without alot of breaks that ive noticed. Aaron i know how you feel. I have lost both my parents and its so hard. Little things can pop up out of now where. My dads recliner would bring me to tears when i visited my mom.
Here is my 2 cents. I wash my chicken whole (breast , thigh thoroughly however I do not wash my ground turkey or ground beef. if it was a steak I would wash it. I am 60 never had a problem so. I say what ever makes you comfortable
It is not necessary to wash meat, if you cook it to proper temperature you would kill any bacteria. A risk of washing meat is cross contamination, it could splatter all over sink, counters, any dishes nearby. So don’t worry about it, keep doing what you’re doing 😊
We absolutely wash meat before cooking. I would think It goes through so many hands , processes, dirty surfaces etc in packaging so here in South Africa, its a norm to wash anything before cooking. We even rinse onions after peeling it lol
Bathroom fans reduce moisture and mold forming.... The kitchen range hood fan would prevent the moisture on the sides... However, it needs to be raised higher as well
I can't stand fan motors either, Crystal. When I built a small flat on top of my mum's home for me, I flat-out refused ceiling fans. I suffered through a few summers before installing air conditioning. I've rented a few places with really old bathroom fans- what a racket they made. Aaron, if you light a match after using the bathroom, it will eliminate (pardon the pun) any smells.
an easy smoothie you can make at home, nutritious and really good, slice a banana, freeze it and when ready with a tall glass of milk, use hand blender to crush those frozen banana slices to make it the same consistency as a milk shake. Just like a banana milk shake but no ice cream... a frozen sliced banana does the trick! Also, thinking of a family recipe you might all enjoy... French Poulet Basquaise... goes a long way... a cut up chicken, red and green peppers and onions and garlic and tomatoes and some hot pepper, cayenne and a tad of paprika, ideally a typical French spice from the Pays Basque, piment d'espelette and served with rice or pasta. Bon appétit! The joy of cooking and sharing a meal with family and/or friends has got to be one of the best things in life!
I'm 60. 6 years old, I always wash my meat, but they came out with a thing from the FDA a few years ago. That do not wash your chicken or your state support chops that just spread the bacteri.. And that's hilarious because I cannot stand to hear my stophane.Or my bathroom fan it gets on my nerves so bad. I love your new home❤❤❤❤
Personally I wash my chicken but I don't just wash it with water. I soak and clean my chicken in water with vinegar and limes or lemons, this helps to get rid of bacteria ( or so I think) and takes away the raw taste of the meat.
@littlebigkicker The science proves it's unnecessary to wash meat and poultry. It also proves how quickly bacteria can spread by washing it and having bacteria spread everywhere.
The standard we use in IKEA when we design kitchens is 56cm from the stovetop to the fan so it would be too high😅 and you are supposed to turn it on a bit before you actually cook so the fan actually can do its work hehe. ❤
i feel aaron. everything i do or see it reminds me of my grandparents that i was close with. its been 1 year since i lost my grandpa and it still hurts a lot.
It is recommended to NOT wash your chicken because it spread the bacteria. Cooking it to temp will kill all the bacteria. Love how mature Bella and Savannah are. They are beautiful young women. Haley is also.
You dont wash your meat. One day i googled it, and it says its just cross contamination and bacteria distribution because the water splashes and it will go places you wont even know. Ive always grown up just throwing it in a pan then the internet got me wondering if i needed to wash it as well 😂 we are all collectively learning together ❤️
No you do not wash your meat. My husband works in kitchens and has taken manger classes by the state and you don’t wash it. They do not wash meat in professional kitchens.
My suggestion is crock pot meals and air fryer so u get the home cook feeling but you can get your new house stuff put away and organize the way u like and continue to have fun with family and prepare all you family transitions. God bless
If do wash chicken make sure to clean your kitchen before you do anything else because chicken juice will get on other things and you will cross contaminate and will get sick.

I think this little house is gonna bring all the kids much much closer together because just seeing them all set at that big table is so nice and laughing and carrying on good decision on this house❤❤
Was watching your vlog today, so happy you guys found a place and got moved. I noticed the part where you were in Walmart shopping and you were going to get colby jack cheese Great value brand. I felt so compelled to tell you about an additive and it called Annato. They use it to make the cheese more orange. We had purchased some about 3 weeks ago and gave our little black chug a tiny piece. The next morning he had severe trimmers and shaking and was so so sick. It turns out annano causes or can cause hypoglycemia in dogs which can be deadly. I prayed and we figured it out by the grace of God. Just in time we gave him a little real honey to raise his blood sugar. So definitely don't give it to your dog nobody in our family will eat it now. Super sketchy. Enjoy your new house God bless
I don't wash ground meat, but I do wash chicken, steak, pork chops/steak, fish. Any meat that can be handled by a butcher or human who handles the raw meat. This advice was given to me by my friend who worked in the meat department. I asked her why. She said "You don't want to know!" I think if someone drops the meat on the floor, or they don't wash their hands often in the butchering department, or other places.
Don’t throw your trophies away. Your kids will want to see them. My daughter had lots of trophies from dance & she lost them. Her husband rented them a house & didn’t know their was a foreclosure on the house & they lost almost all their belongings & had to start over. She misses her trophies. Don’t wash your meat. It's bad practise to wash chicken, in the UK It's certainly a no no as you spray the raw juices and they end up on the counter / sink and all over you, I'm a chef of nearly 40 years
