Basically it has to be visible all the time for customers to see, Its law and in case of inspection you can get fined if there is missing one. Also its mandatory for washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, fridges etc.
Btw on the monitor label, the really bad rating is pretty normal - before hand there were tons of A+, A++, ... categories after the original rating system became pretty much irrelevant due to how energy efficient stuff got, so there was a recounting and now the A category is pretty much empty and there are very few items in B and C. The most efficient I've seen a monitor is D and a TV on E
Ironically, the rating system is pretty much as irrelevant as it became before the change. Just bought a new freezer. The saving potential from best to worst rated is probably like 20 bucks a year but the lowest rated, chinesium el-cheapo freezer sets you back like 5000 bucks less than the "good" one. The sticker with energy rating, for the monitor, is for retail display. I worked in retail selling TVs and monitors, those came in every box and we had to put them on the TV/Monitor. I remember picking up some fun little toys and gimmicks from Whish early in its lifespan. but nothing over 10$. I'm honestly shocked af how expensive these items are! Quality and value aside, I did not expect to see anything priced at that level
For real! I saw a good amount of on brand mech keyboards & mice on Newegg for only $25-$50 and 120hz displays for like $100, how is wish this expensive for all this e waste 😂
@@hythere I think it's a brand-identity thing and videos like these kind of play into it. 9:14 that sticker is for exposing in stores. when someone enters in an electronics store and wants to see that "energy consumption rate sh*t", the customer service guy doesnt need to bring the box from the back, he just puts that sticker on the edge of the monitor.

The Monitor energy efficiency sticker is probably for display units. In tech stores over here in Germany, display unit monitors and tv's (and other electronical devices like fridges, washing machines, etc) have their energy rating stickered onto them with a similar looking and sized sticker.
Same in Brazil, we see these in display units in stores as we adopted the EU rating system under the 'selo Procel', but normally this comes in the box with the sticker already applied in the product. The last thing I remember buying was my Panasonic fridge and I bought it online and it came with the sticker already applied. The little keychain controller isn't a bad thing sorta. It's nice with old retro emulation, like nes, gb, etc. Not very big, easily carried, etc. I use to have one and used with phone to play emulators as on screen controls are just meh. But that was before I just ended up getting a 8Bitdo Zero 2 and then their micro as it's basically the zero 2 but also with r2/l2 instead of just r1/l1 buttons. They are a bit bigger but they're tons better and I use them to play all the way up to ps1 emulation instead of being stuck with lowers due to lack of good way to us shoulder buttons/lack of l2/r2. The 8bitdo micro might be a bit bigger but the additional buttons and being well a 8bitdo it's tons better. Even so, it's still easily carried around without taking up much space.
There are certain combos on this channel that I always look forward to: - Linus and Alex working with jank. - Linus, David, and Emily doing retro stuff. - Linus and Adam roasting eachother for 20 straight minutes.
I actually have this exact AJAZZ Keyboard. I've been using it for several years now and I'm still happy with it. It would have been really interesting to hear what Linus has to say about it though.
I actually own two Ajazz AK33 keyboards, one for home,, one for the office. They are actually surprisingly nice for the price, although I got mine years ago when they still shipped with mini USB. Also, the Ajazz has an individually addressable RGB option for $35 or a single color one for a bit less.
@@mamuteddymad What do you mean they need to do more research they litterally have the product at hand, maybe it was a fake but still they were talking about the specific keyboard they had
@@abacus7087 they actually didn't use the ajazz one. They used the meme keyboard mouse pack. Ajazz is a reputable brand and got many good budget keyboards for people like me who can't afford more expensive ones. they should've not treated it as a joke. Should've mentioned that it was fairly good for the price. as well, mentioned other products available form the ajazz brand that are actually dope on a budget. if you go through the comments you can see so many people have the same opinion on this brand as well. so if they did the slightest market research they would've known ajazz is not just another no name Chinese meme OEM brand. I have the AJazz keyboard that I bought from Aliexpress like 2 or 3 years ago, and it's the one entering level for mechanic keyboards im satisfied with. I Got the cable in package and no problem with any button places. The 75% key layouts and RGB quality is insanely great. SO bad that Linus changed it and didnt pay too much attention to it...
I second that. Used mine for almost 3 years, till the switch to Akko. With 3rd party double pbt keycaps, ajazz is a really good-looking and functioning mechanical keyboard with actually good switches, and what's really good is that it doesn't need crappy soft to configure rgb. The only drawback is the old mini-usb cable ...and maybe "ringy" (rattling) base, which can be solved with some muffling
The newer Ajazz AK-33 boards are USB-C, but it's a complete lottery which you get sent. They're actually pretty decent mechanical keyboards for the price. It's been my go to "chuck in bag" board for the last 6 years or so. I would also add that the older high gloss keys have substantially nicer lettering than the newer matte keys but oh well. I'll say that after several years, no reliability issues and it's decent enough to type and game on.

14:26 that australian joke was 10/10
i got the mouse as part of a bundle (exact same keyboard and mouse but both were wireless) as a christmas present and it really did last half a year. but the bettery lasts just about as long as the buttons which wore out very fast
This is one of the funniest LTT videos I've seen in a long time.
The jokes are really on spot!
I would love to see a new version of this video where you guys actually try to get a genuinely nice setup for the least amount of money. Just by using common sense when ordering the products and avoiding obvious scams.
17:52 - I use regular chopsticks, so I can say that this thing could be actually useful. You can eat snacks without making your mouse and keyboard gross.
I remember picking up some fun little toys and gimmicks from Whish early in its lifespan. but nothing over 10$. I'm honestly shocked af how expensive these items are! Quality and value aside, I did not expect to see anything priced at that level
its cause theyre in loads of debt and their revenue has dropped like a shit ton since 2018.
I thought the same thing. Some little gimmicks were okay, but for 70$ you can get a very decent keyboard mouse combo not from wish.
Ik I can find stuff cheaper even on Amazon
For real! I saw a good amount of on brand mech keyboards & mice on Newegg for only $25-$50 and 120hz displays for like $100, how is wish this expensive for all this e waste 😂
@@hythere I think it's a brand-identity thing and videos like these kind of play into it. Wish is manifested as "Get stuff very cheap, quality aside" platform and I assume a lot of people just look for stuff on Wish without questioning if its actually the cheapest and best deal, simply because they assume nobody is going to do it cheaper than Wish.
The sticker is for store display. Normally all electronics (not portable stuff) in the eu comes with it.
5:05 im not sure if theyre refrencing what im thinking about
9:55 Adam makes these vids. Just wailing on his boss. He's great.
9:14 that sticker is for exposing in stores. when someone enters in an electronics store and wants to see that "energy consumption rate sh*t", the customer service guy doesnt need to bring the box from the back, he just puts that sticker on the edge of the monitor.
The finger gloves are for rhythm gaming on phones, tablets and acrade machines with touch screens so you slide better!
17:21 Gato 🐱
You seriously need to make a playlist of all your "all-X" setups, they're really interesting!
I think the desk pad is showing time zones. I don't know why, but that's what the color bands are
8:40 This seems to be the new Energy rating table, where A+ is now around E, so F was A which is not that bad for screens.
So... are there any monitors actually had an A rating? Or was it reserved for future monitor technologies from space aliens after we invented cold fusion?
the mousepad shows time zones, the different colors are the time zones around the world (if you look on the bottom it shows the time zones )
That "deluxe dongle" looks like an original Microsoft PC Xbox controller adapter I have one and it works do much better than the new version
I got those snack sticks at 18:00 for Christmas and I thought they were the dumbest thing. I've since used them very often, it's actually really nice being able to snack without getting your hands dirty
Just use chopsticks like a cultured person.
@@Eagle3302PLno :) chopsticks are longer and heavier
I will say, Philips' lighting stuff has one thing that greatly warrants their cost a lot of the time;
They actually have excellent color reproduction and consistency across the product lineup.
14:55 The controller dongle looks exactly like the one from Microsoft's Xbox One Controller for Windows, first generation. The later version got a lot smaller though.
I feel like I've seen that exactly dongle many times in the past years with various stuff.
Love the new editing style 🔥🔥
I know laptop reviews are uncommon but it would be cool to see you guys get a couple "mobile workstations" at different price points and compare them to a desktop version and a gaming laptop.
So I was going to say How can they make this video format interesting again after like the 5th time, but they did just that and who ever bought the stuff went hard and unique in a way that isnt normal and that made for a fun and interesting video!
Now we need an “ALL TEMU Gaming Setup”
I’ve actually got that mouse, I’ve had it for more than 4 years and it still works great, somehow… the battery doesn’t last half a year but around 1-2 months. I mainly like it for its low button press and silent clicks.
i would love to see you disassemble all those wish conponents to see what they used to build them.
11:00, “blacks are barely black”-Linus 2023
took me out lol
Adam was super funny this video. I always love a bit of banter and trolling between the hosts
These three are the best trio 😭 never laughed so hard at an LTT video
respect the death grips hoodie😎
18:54 Aren't you supposed to decrease your reaction time? Why would anyone want to increase it?
The sticker is (or was, realistically) for retail shops to put it on the monitor in their showroom. I've not seen this actually done for years though.
Perhaps wish (or more realistically, the factory in China) simply didn't bother putting the sticker :D
As an Aussie, do other places not have that??
It seems like NA doesn't @@ArensVT
Those stickers for screen are for shops when they have screens for show they will put it on them so customers see it
Respect to the Death Grips hoodie. A true man of culture.
Wearing mine rn
death drip
I think that a Shein gaming setup would be pretty interesting lol
17:04 ironically a decent figure eight lol
The Sticker is required in Stores and f isnt Bad for a Monitor Most have f to g i never saw one higher than e
I did not expect the death grips merch
The guy with Linus is genuinely charismatic and funny. Im not used to this from a linus video.
0:07 already offended. i got this keyboard. in case anybody was wondering. DON'T buy it. its bad. the display dial sucks. it only accepts inputs at a very slow rate maybe like 1sec. there is nothing good i can say about this keyboard. well maybe that ic an have my num block on the left side which i like for hotkeys but thats it
The different colours on the desk pad were time zones!
Yes, with the cities being major cities in each time zone - that’s why Edmonton, Winnipeg, and Denver are specifically labeled…
Funniest themed build video in a while. I think Adam is hitting his stride, and Linus and his on screen chemistry seems to be working better than in older videos. That or I’m just getting used to it 😂
Yes, those reload bonuses can be a lifesaver, especially when you hit a rough patch. Helps to keep playing without breaking the bank
At 5:35 Colton was no longer the only one getting fired that day.
The genius brand actually has pretty good non stim pre workout. What the heck any of their products are doing ok wish is beyond me.
The sticker is for displaying the product in stores, so that customers can see the power rating. Thank you for the work you do!
There are certain combos on this channel that I always look forward to:
- Linus and Alex working with jank.
Ajazz keyboards are kinda cool tbh
Same
This is a top notch episode, excellent editing and the co-host was clever AF and quick on his feet to fire back. Loved it, hilarious!
I actually own two Ajazz AK33 keyboards, one for home,, one for the office. They are actually surprisingly nice for the price, although I got mine years ago when they still shipped with mini USB. Also, the Ajazz has an individually addressable RGB option for $35 or a single color one for a bit less.
agreed. I use them as well. They gotta do more research before making fun of certain products like that.
That being said, it's just my opinion and I don't need to explain it as I just did. You can disagree with it. but at what point did you feel like ltt needs defending over my sub-comment that they won't ever see or know it existed even. they making videos and making money and this comment is nonexistent to them. Their growth doesn't effect your life in any way. you not robinhood buds. Just share your opinion and move on. life is too short to have dumb debates in UA-cam comments. you wasting your time. you not even an ltt employee. Niether they would ever care about my comment nor yours. You gain nothing from White Knighting them except losing some precious time.
Amazon has way better offerings than that for cheaper.
@@ginco_bnz that is probably true, where you're from. Amazon products are extremely overpriced where I live.
Linus throwing one of those neutropics into his mouth from so high up emanates dedication on a whole new level.
14:36 this is such a great feature i hope more brands do this so us aussies don't have to be left out because we are upsidedown
15:47 "You know where it goes 😏"
I don't understand
@@RubenJavierTovarEsparza Good, keep that mind pure
The editing on this was gold lmao, 13:16 I’m actually dying 💀💀💀
"Black's are barely black" so true linus so true
10:59
8:40 To be fair, an F or E rating is pretty standard for monitors. All electric devices like monitors, fridges or washing machines have to have these labels in the EU.
we need an all wish Linus tech tips staff
20:55 "I wonder how the mic quality is?"
This would actually be a fantastic video. Pickup a load of cheap headsets and see how well NVIDIA's RTX Voice software can improve it. Can free software improve junk microphones, or even beat highend ones when talking on multiplayer game services? No one wants to hear 12v fans in the background of someone smack talking, you don't want to be that noob do you?
Months ago Amazons AMK69X was planned and the plan fully worked, strongest rise since the bears started and surely they have their move in that given the size of this brand
Credit card holder isn’t useless, Genshin players will get some mileage out of that
You guys should take the thing you used for the bed cooling video that put 2 120v into a 240v but make it for 2 240v or 4 120v into a 480v
6:04 fake Mr. Beast in the back lol
