great show guys !! Love Paul Stanley. He IS an incredible Guitarist, front man, entertainer, artist. KISS all day every day. And I think that Malcolm is very good too. No shame in his game. I think they both bring something to the game.
From what I can tell, and maybe this is wrong, is that Paul Stanley is more of a complete songwriter. His rhythm is designed to match his vocals, so when Paul writes he writes them together. He also sometimes writes the solos, even if he doesn't play them himself. Sometimes even bass. I never hear about Malcom assembling song parts together like that. So, just as a fan, I find Paul more interesting than Malcom. Not saying one is better than the other, but I will say this--Paul doesn't just have one style. AC-DC has been making the same album over and over again since 1979. Not Kiss (for better or worse).
I would use live stream show (A Day with Anthrax) (Podcast/UA-cam, ect...) to sell my physical media -- and wares... - imo, of course...🤷♂️ with the added benefit that you can network in multiple ways!! .. for which in my observation, networking for which the Label/Corporation used contract out at cost of the artist, at "Rock Star" prices as it is a business not a charity, has made it clear at least since the "Change to Grunge Era" that they're not going to do it for you anymore... 🤣🤣 if you could call ALL that usury a benefit??...
These guys should bring back THAT METAL SHOW. I think one of the reasons they're doing this like they are now, is it's cheaper & they have more control?? And for the love of pete, Don get a better mic & a new sound guy, some of the audio is horrible!
On the other side of that coin, you can argue Malcom is also about the money because AC-DC discovered a formula with Highway To Hell and they've been remaking that album--sticking to that sound--ever since. Paul can at least claim he experiments, tries different song types and structures. The first 3 kiss albums are not the same as the second 3 albums, then there's the experimental phase (from disco to pop to concept album to heavy metal), then there's the 80s sound a la Lick It Up, plus the keyboard album, then Revenge's return to earlier roots, and then the Thayer era. There's no singular Kiss sound. Hard to say Kiss is only about the money (they're about the money, but not only the money) when they keep taking risks. AC-DC takes no risks--just repeat their most successful formula (HTH and Back In Black).
Malcom all day long! At least he & AC/DC do their own music & not take everyone else's music and do a poor copy of it to try and get more money !! KISS always has had gone after that commercial cash cow!!
The show is kinda boring. I watched the first two and completely lost interest in watching more. I guess I’m getting tired of the same conversations, with the same artists. Maybe 20 years ago this would have been fresh to watch. But it feels tired and old now. Like, I just don’t care about a bunch of guys talking about bands that had their peak era 40 years ago. It’s played out
That's like saying it's boring hearing about WW2.... we're talking about the most significant era of rock music, the era that perfected the sound and that no sound afterward can match, the sound that remains popular despite three generations past its hey day. People will always talk about what's most important.
But at a certain point, you just start hearing the same stories, the same opinions. After awhile it's like a script that you have memorized in your head. I find it boring and predictable. And in this day and age, with so many options and new things to discover, I rather discover something new than just hear a show about what's the best VH album. @@spaceknight793
Well, what you say is kind of understandable, but the music that is out today? No one is going to talk about them in the next 20 years .they have no shelflife, their songs will be forgotten ,they will all be a bunch of has beens. Frankly, I will stick with what I know ,which is rock and metal and classic rock ,which is still being played today
@@roywall8169 What are you talking about?Of course band’s like AC/DC, Sabbath ect…. didn’t become musicians because of Kiss, but people in Anthrax, Metallica, Megadeath ect…. did. I guess it depends on what era you are talking about.
It's always good to watch a Scott interview. Great show guys!!!

The biggest insult to any musician, is to compare them to a member of Kiss.
Bro KISS is the reason why a LOT of metal pioneers became musicians, what are you on about? 😂
