How to Soak off Extremely Long Nails!

Hiya Duck in today's video I’m going to be showing you how to soak off really long nails! Let’s get cracking!
We have Fay in the building today and she has on a set of really long nails that she has had on for a really long time so let’s take them off. I’ll start by removing the stones from the nails using an old pair of nippers to crack the sides of the gel.
With all the stones off the nail, it's time to remove the length of the extension and I'll do that with a pair of nail clippers I'll turn the hand so the palm is facing up check where the natural nail ends and then I’ll cut just past that point.
Now I'll move over to my e-file and I'll fit that with the de-bulking bit and I can use that to glide gently across the acrylic and I'll remove around 80 per cent of the remaining product from the nail with this.
Now I'll jump across to my 240 grit file and just score the acrylics so that the acetone can more easily penetrate the product
Now I can wrap these nails up I have some foil already cut up ill decant some acetone into a dampened dish and then I can saturate some lint wiped in the acetone place those over the acrylic and then wrap those in the foil and leave those ten minutes while the acetone breaks down the acrylic.
Ten minutes later we can unwrap these and have a check now I'll take my shiny new Make ’N’ Scrape and I can use this to easily remove that soft acrylic from the nail bed and I'll do that on all of the nails and then I will whip over with a 240 grit file to reveal Fay's beautiful nails! I love all the gals and guys on the videos, I need to soak my gel extensions off there are 2 on my right hand hanging on by the free edge it's awful. I got a promotion and I'm now general manager at the hotel I work at, comes with a big raise and more responsibility. Which I don't mind I just miss having the time for my true love doing my nails, I've literally not had a day off since the 17th October. I miss all the videos and all of you! ❤

Love having Fay interact with you and Adam. Yes sad to say here in U.S.A. some people go to nail salons and complain after they had a set of nails so they think they don't have to pay. Unbelievable what scumbags are out to screw people over who work hard for their money. I would like to see you remove Acrygel set of nails next please. Is Acrygel a file off only? I agree too! I lived in the US for more than 20 years and have to the salon where women got their nails done and said they forget their money in the car and they don't come back to pay... It's so sad.😮

I usually go around the edge of my stones with my pointy diamond bit. It makes it have an edge to grab ahold with the nippers

What will Kirsty and Fay do about the hyponychium? Just leave it? Wait for it to recede? I am very curious, because this will happen to me if I could keep acrylics on long

Mine nails would be trashed anytime i went and got acrylics done i hated it and stopped for a long time then learned to do them myself and wow what a difference before when i would go to a salon any salon gone to multiple different ones but anyways when they would remove them and my nails would start to grow out i would literally have ledges where the new growth was so much thicker because they removed so much of my natural nail with the sanding bands they use

I don't mind seeing the natural nail but the elongated hypernicum is what gets me. All of us long nail wearers know our hypernicum winds up extending as well and It CAN get so crusty and/or just nasty looking I tried grow out my nails n cut it off cuz I couldn't stand it. Also I'm Native American and have very typical Native American Nails which tend to curve downwards and have a very flat nail bed and just doesn't look like a now I would like to wear.
I think you can "train" your hyponychium to not grow as long by brushing gently under your nail with a nail brush. If you do this daily I suppose it will prevent it from spreading as much.
If your having touble getting your stones off, try grinding the product around the stone a little bit to create a groove then try nipping it off.

What's happened to nail baths in acetone? Surround by hot water ? Nsi nail bath look it up 10years been doing soak off like this Full Set removed in 30mins! This way is longer and more work
I'm with y'all on seeing the natural nail underneath extensions. Gives me the ick too 🤮. My hyponichiums are naturally long and get longer when I wear extensions constantly so I always see some natural nail underneath. It drives me crazy. And at 28:12 I *totally* understand what Fay is saying! On the few occasions that I'm going around without extensions on, I forget that I don't have that extra length at the end of my nail so I'll sometimes try to grab things without paying attention and miss the things I'm grabbing at or I'll try to scratch my face and be scratching air for a good second 😂😂
I just switched to almond after never having anything but square shaped nails and I’m still adjusting to the pointyness of them hahah

Must be. Mine are naturally long and when I wear extensions constantly they get even longer. I hate them lol

I only resuse perfect gems and only to be used in practice designs but that came off so clean i would gladly use that on myself. I do have to disagree with the fact that maybe the tin foil holding in the heat helps to soak the nails off quicker because I always use the plastic things that goes on your nails to hold the acetone covered pad on the nail to dissolve the product and with hard gel products most of the product is melted off within the first 10 minutes and it's never gone faster with tin foil. I completely stopped using tin foil because it's a reoccurring cost that made no sense. Now avrylic takes longer but still see no difference in effectivness. And yes nails need to breathe lmao NOT. They will get soft in water in heat after taking off nails etc. They just need a minute to dry out again and strength comes back. It has to do with moisture not breathing. Lol
As American, I can confirm that people do not want to pay for services. that take years of schooling, money, and time to be able to do.
You can soak off your gel polish on natural nail by working on nitrile gloves 🥺 took my gloves off and my mani. Womp womp.

I love watching you and love your products but I have been emailing your team since Oct 31st about a mini lamp I bought just a month before that was no longer working. Emma replied the next day for me to send a video. I did that same day and have no response in a week. It’s discouraging because I love your products and I have spent a good deal of money with you but not getting answers, a refund, or preferably a new mini lamp, is poor customer service. Any other time I have emailed the response is fabulous. But now worth a problem, there’s no response. ☹️
