The OPPO unquestionably looks better. Really wish they'd stop trying to go crazy with the resolution though, it has nothing to do with what makes it look better. Most phones just tend to over-saturate and over-sharpen their images.
Watching this on my Oppo Reno 10 Pro + Device, I've already seen your comparison before, infact i actually visited the stores & checked couple of models personally, but using this first time bought me in Awe...!!! Really amazing device, blown away by the camera performance... Thank you for making this comparison video, it also provoked, confirmed to take proper decision.
Hey Lee. :) They obviously picked more than the right guy to demo this. The king of portraits. :) Love your videos man! As it's 4:38 AM and haven't been to bed yet I'm heading there now. Enjoy your day.
Same! Hopefully more phone companies will reach out. There’s a lot I’ve never tried. Mostly because a lot of them aren’t available in North America. Thanks for watching!
Hey Lee.. would love you to test new shiftcam lenses.. specially telephoto 60mm.. they were updated, are bigger for the recent bigger sensors.. they are set to start delivering this month.. they already have iphone 14 pro cases, s23 on the way, they say.. for the videos I saw a while ago, dog looks reeeally good.. specially for video, so good.. you may like it
When you started cropping in, a lot of wrongly blurred edges came apparent and sometimes the skin white balance really dipped a bit into the wrong direction. It's not bad, the s23 isn't perfect either, but I don't feel like I'd call any of it "King".
they always prioritize the image to look best on the phone screen and it’s rare anyone really zooms in that much when they are looking at the images they take. It’s just easier to show the differences in a comparison when I zoom in that much
I do not understand are these photos edited or straight out of the camera. If they are not edited how is this possible I do not understand. For example, I am a professional food photographer so I know how to use professional gear and smartphone photography, of course, professionally I do not have that much portrait photography experience like You, but anyway I know how to shoot good portraits and I tried so many times with similar lighting condition and similar location like yours, but I never achieve this kind of results like you are showing. one of the examples, It looks like someone standing on a side and using reflector and so on. I used iPhone 11 pro max, I used iPhone 13, I used Galaxy S23 Ultra but as i said never this kind of results.
I try to make sure the behind the scenes camera is filming wide shots as im doing screen capture from the device so that what I’m shooting is exact how it is. Obviously once the shot is taken it will get processed by the phone slightly more than what is being previewed. But if I was using any lights or reflectors you would see that and I would also show that. I’m not out here trying to trick people or hide and tricks I’m doing. But it really does come down to how you position the model into the light.
You see what I see straight from the camera that’s why I show screen capture. Obviously there is more processing once the shot has been taken that the preview doesn’t show. But I got no reason to manipulate the images. I’m just here to show what they both can do
I love how Lee mention the fake sky color. Everytime I take a picture on Samsung its look great on a screen but then its done processing and give you lots of fake colors. And you can't turn that off anyhow. Same with the sky colors. Like Oppo skin tones. Galaxy always make skin tones magenta and red.
It all comes down to price. The age old saying “you get what you pay for” Oppo wanted me to show that for the price it’s camera system and image processing can hang with the big boys and that’s all I’m here to show.
I said from India that by looking at the portrait photos of these two mobiles, I realized that the portrait camera of samsung galaxy s23+ has very nice edge detection and edge cutout is very nice and very neat only in 10mp camera... I said after watching this whole video... ❤❤❤💯💯💯👍👍👍👌👌👌
I always think that your works are much more than what the camera can do itself 😊
Just out here showing what they can do :)
the skin color on OPPO phones recently is amazingly good. I've tested the Reno 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 and they all did really well.
This was really a very unique take to show photo comparisons between both these phones. I would give it a 10/10 for this wonderful video 👍
yay glad that sponsors are seeing your potential! took them long enough.
Hopefully more phone companies reach out. There’s a lot of good phones out there I would like to try
The OPPO unquestionably looks better. Really wish they'd stop trying to go crazy with the resolution though, it has nothing to do with what makes it look better.
Most phones just tend to over-saturate and over-sharpen their images.
my dream phone

wth that Oppo is really good . the details and skin tones are all very good 😍
From🌹MALAYSIA🌹next suggestion is 1 inch camera battle 😊Xiaomi Mi 13 Ultra VS ViVo X90 Pro Plus ( LEICA vs ZEISS ) 😁who is the most beautiful image 😍

can you do a comparison between vivo v27 and oppo reno 10 if which phone has the best camera?
I hope more phone companies reach out to you to test their phone cameras
Cuz their are some phones i wanna see you try their cameras

Could you make a video talking about raw video on android?(Motion Cam Pro)
And compare it with Pro Res?
The Reno better.
My problem is cant find where to buy it😢
Simple and pleasant vedio, felt some extra whitening with oppo shots
This reno renders more pleasant skintones, but it tends to overexpose specular highlights.
The music in the intro is awsome
Great video. I'd love to see you do one about the Xiaomi 13 Ultra or the Huawei P60 Pro.
Iphone 15 vs s23 please
The most beautiful video I have seen so far
Can you please make a camera review of vivo x80 pro
Yep, they were not lying when they said it's better than Samsung.
I'm sure you did not disable the ProXDR in the settings of the Gallery App of the Reno and that's why the exposure was high.
So that's why it has a high exposure on my oppo reno 10 pro+. Where can i disable that sir?
Oppo Reno 10 Pro plus best camera phone
Wow i love it that Oppo is focusing also on telephoto
Wow! Reno did great...❤
Can you do vivo X90 pro portrait test
s23 still has better highlight preservation, but i like the reno better coz it has better skin color
and oppo is sharp too.
Nice! Have you made a review from Fujinon XF 90mm f2? If not, would like to see your opinion of that lens
Superb video i m planning to buy oppo reno 10 pro plus
Let’s gooo
@@LeeZavitz thanks air
Please try xiaomi 13 pro also
nice comparison 😮
wow
samsung is sharp 🙂...
i like the color on the oppo
Bro Please do Huawei p40 pro camera test vedio please bro🙏🙏
Which place is this? This is really cool
Low saturation and but s23 super amoled vs OLED will really make difference in image preview

i'm noticed about display brightness while Samsung specs said they provided 1750 nits, and Oppo Just 1600 but Oppo's phone is more brighter :))))
I had them both set to max brightness so you could see the screen in the video.
Reno is brighter and softer! Thanks for this! Now I don't have to buy Lumix! 😁
When you started cropping in, a lot of wrongly blurred edges came apparent and sometimes the skin white balance really dipped a bit into the wrong direction.

HDR is still good on Reno
If you know how to capture photos, you can take breathtaking photos from a smart phone. Kudos 👏

Can you please do Redmi Note 12 Pro plus 5G
As a pixel 6 pro user.. I'm telling...this reno madafa*a will blust others with it's camera...... 🔥
Very nice review. But I hope there was no manipulation considering oppo is seeing doing great here competing with galaxy which is still a beast

Nice! The you already know how good it is
Oppo fireee
Im not convinced with the following brands in terms of camera:
Oppo
Huawei
Xiaomi
S23 Just over-sharpened the photos. They look darker. Reno does an impressive job here.
Reno10Pro+ 100% the nicest output Ive seen from any android phone that wasn't shooting in Raw
Vivo x90 Vs pixel 7
Probably reno is King

Please do comparison on normal human subjects because I want to know whether oppo is doing softening of skin (which if they do I hate it then ) .
Always samsung 😊😊😊

Still s23 is the best

I kinda like the S23 pic better. Most pics from oppo look a bit yellowish.
I Have Reno 10 pro Plus From 18th July😊
Personally I like the s23+ 3x photos

samsung is better but why here not
SUMSUNG IS BETTER
