How much can we ask for? It wasn't a lot to ask for. This was a fair stance. It's a good ad. It's fair what the union needed and wanted for their families and for the future. And today look at the mess we are in. All in the name of greed. I grew up as a young child listening to this jingle on TV and on the Radio. A memorable message without the modern day pretensions. There has a meaning tonight for me to hear this in my dreams....even as I awakened, I heard this group singing this song in my mind as I awakened and I had not even thought about this before bed.
This makes me cry every time I watch it. What a loss, that nearly everything is made...not here. I will pay more money for Made in American. My father worked in a silk mill in the '20s, and he sure loved the unions.
The message is one of the best sayings about the unions and its membership!! They were a component of the USA one time having the world's highest standard of life ❣️🧬❤❤😊😊😊😊😊
I remember seeing this advertisement. Now I don’t believe there is anything manufactured in the US in the way of clothing or shoes. I guess the unions realized the jobs were being moved overseas and these types of jobs were quickly becoming extinct.
BubbyThunder For most Americans, Hollywood gossip and other depraved forms of drivel was and still is more important than the things that really matter, like education, preservation of one's rights, culture, constitution, etc. Openly treasonous politicians who outsourced the best jobs are repeatedly elected and re-elected while the ones who would try to bring those jobs back, like Ralph Nader and Ron Paul, are laughed at and sh*t upon by the gutless, eunuch populace. Free speech, the right to privacy and to be secure from illegal searches in one's home, etc., are all gone now, yet Americans think they're free because "men" who play in each other's fart holes can now legally be married in all 50 states. There will be NO pity party from me. Dickless American F*cks got JUST what they deserved.
Yup, I know no one wants to hear this, but its true. American big labor got too greedy and corrupt and screwed themselves outta jobs. The child labor thing is BS. US and EU inspectors are all over far eastern countries now checking IDs. Its just the only thing big labor can virture signal with these days

The Best Version
I remember when Osh Kosh replaced "Union Made" with "Genuine Article" on their triangle label.

Look for the union label...at antique malls that carry vintage clothing.

Yes. We do Mana. So many lovely persons lost their jobs
It was Mami
I remember when Al Gore claimed his mother would sing him to sleep with this song, but it was written when he was 27 years old...
Actually, it was written in 1919.😂
This is the classic version..

This is why I'm voting for Bernie Sanders!

"A lot of our jobs have disappeared" That's what happens when you price yourself out of a market.
The new union label - "Closed"
