thank you for sharing the good with the bad durring progression, something i think most people tend to leave out. this keyboard thumbstick is something ive been wanting to utilize for some time now but have been having trouble finding courgae to switch to mouse and key form paddled controller. i have over 10k hours into this controller. so to change 5 years into the gaem feels totally wrong. but also oh so rite lol.. thanks for content. it will make my transition into mouse and key a milllion times less stressful as i wont have to figure out the details, i will just need to put in the time and practice to develope the muscle memory ect. thank you!!seeing your current key binds and settings for this end setup would be greatly appreciated!!
I was considering hopping on WASQ, but after watching this and KenBeans I think I want to be a NUT GOBLIN and get a keyboard joystick. Imma start playing a bit on controller first so I'll get used to movement on a joystick
Just got it 2 weeks ago couldn’t find the right binds for couple days, keeps on changing it now for the last 2 days I’ve been playing really good and even playing rank solos am so close about 70% there to fully get used to the binds. If you have any question, feel free to ask
@@odyssey7743 for someone who hates taking chances and trying new thinks man, it is really worth it tbh if your really good at mouse and keyboard I would say stay but if your new to keyboard or coming from controller now it’s so much easier than the WASD. Whatever binds you had on the mouse keep them that if you were used to it so then you don’t have to worry about that in the progression. Other than that just find the binds that are easy for you to reach, and DONT change them. Take look at my binds for example
I’m a controller player switching to kbm first time ever. Should I switch to the joystick and grind that or learn just kbm as a fresh input I’ve never used before
@@Rskyybro trust me man go with the GMK Joystick I promise you you’ll be way quicker and it’s a lot easier since you not worrying about WASD bind or keyboard movement. I was on keyboard for 6 months and couldn’t build in games cuz of the movement but now I’m on this for 2 weeks and after finding the right binds you’ll be really good and learn quicker.

my sens is 4.5% vert and horizontal I change my binds a lot but floor is space, wall mouse button, place build right click, edit n, stairs a, cone g, jump b there pretty weird
Ok day 2 on kb joystick and I can do 90s and pretty much triple edits. I have more potential but hey it's only day 2 for me I still can't get quad edits down but I'll try and im not than good at triple edits I'll work on getting good at triple edits tomorrow.
yesterday my gmk joystick came on, everything works but my picture in fortnite freezes for a second and then runs again it's super laggy as soon as I disconnect the joystick everything runs smoothly again. Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem?
fortnite messed up the lock input method as mouse setting that makes the joystick work martoz posted a fix though so you can still use it and they will patch it eventually but there taking a while to do so heres the martoz fix x.com/martoz/status/1793989175798321290
And my binds are still right click edit rn my build binds are c floor and s cone wall mouse button 5 and ramp mouse button 4 and aim is space rn jump is left ctrl shotgun is a pickaxe is scroll down. And i decided to not use kb reset but ofc scroll wheel
