Que el árbitro que tenía que señalar pasividad como en par de veces al Iraní y no lo hizo, el cual en el segundo tiempo estaba agotado y no podía más. En segundo lugar no puedes bajar la guardia en deportes de combate hasta q suene el silbato, sino pregúntale a varios boxeadores q han terminado noqueado por esa misma razón. There is a simple rule in sports and life. It is not over, until is over. We have seen this in many other sports, in track and field and cycling. It has nothing to do with honor but about not celebrating before it is over. It doesn't look pretty, I agree on that, but this is rule # 1 in combat sports "Defend at all times". I am Cuban and I wouldn't want him to win this way, but it is not his fault. He saw a chance and he took it. I hope they see each other again in the Olympics and Saeid will have his chance for revenge.

@@farhad815well in all fairness I don't think the Cuban was losing the fight. The referee favored the Iranian too much and the Iranian was exhausted, he couldn't fight anymore. Because he was too tired he took leave before due, payed for his mistake and that balanced the partiality of the referee.

He definitely did have the intention of deceiving. Maybe this is how Turks wrestle too? Because if an Iranian, Armenian, Georgian, Russian wrestler calls it quits 2-3 seconds early and gives up, they honor their word. They don't "change" their mind and suddenly attack the opponent when their guard is down. Deception was the only way the Cuban could win and he took advantage of the situation. Part of it was because of the terrible ref that was unfair to him and convinced him cheating was the only way to win that day.

This was Karma.Since The iran wrestler was very pasive in the last minutes ,while he was keepin on grabbing Orta's fingers in a illegal manner and the referee,didn't penalized him.On top of it ,the iranian wrestler,he not only put his hands down,HE TURNED HIS BACK and lost concentration on his rival and his consistent tenacity,regardless of the fatigue.

Terrible analogy. In racing it's out of arrogance. In wrestling, taekwondo sometimes an opponent might be exhausted or injured and signal to the other that they don't want to continue in the final few seconds. The opponent in the winning position understands and honors their words. Unfortunately, Orta well-aware of this took advantage of this situation, especially considering he was going up against a rookie. Did he win? Yes. Was he clever? Sure. But karma did bite him at the Olympics. Honor and integrity are a big part of wrestling compared to other sports, combat or non-combat.

I absolutely love Cuba, as an Iranian I always back cubans against other nations. But this was the most ridiculous wrestling match I have ever watched. The Iranian wrestler behaved in the most amateur & silly way. The reason being he cared more about looking at his coach than his rival on the mat & paid the highest price for his foolishness.

For sure it was legal, but was not moral. Watch the last 7 seconds again, the Cuban stepped back and stopped fighting indicating his give up and the iranian accepted it by going to his coach. This happens many times in wrestling in last few seconds, and in this very tournment it happened in more than 12 matchs. But the cuban didn't show sportmanship by attacking the iranian despite of his announcement for give up

He doesn’t give up, he stands up straight & loses his attacking posture probably assuming his opponent wouldn’t give him any opening to score the takedown he needed.
His opponent was the one who turned his back while the clock was still running, I’d argue that is more of a sign of giving up than standing up straight.
Protect yourself at all times is the number 1 rule of combat sports.
