Made one and love it. It is harder then you make it look, but I learned so much. I also added bats and a black cat. Thank you so much for sharing this tumbler.
If you do your alcohol inks and then lightly spritz with alcohol it gives a cool effect too. I love this tumbler . I'm definitely going to have to create one for myself.
HONEY... this is absolutely AWESOME!! That background technique is freakin' amazing!! I love your tutorials!! They're packed with tips and tricks and short and sweet!! THANK YOU very much for this. I'm totally going to make one today!!! 💙🧙♀️🧹💙🧙♀️🧹💙🧙♀️🧹💙
Love this tumbler - I do the effects by spraying alcohol on my things - try it - you may like the effects it creates - I’m gonna try your way may like it better - I used like a little mister - have a great weekend
Hi Courtney! I'm new to your you tube. Love this design. I am recreating it as we speak but I'm using orange and yellow and glow in the dark vinyl moon!!! Would love to show you my finished tumbler!! Thank you for the tutorial!!
Courtney on the Creative Fabrica site I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or this is how the software works. You gone through say 20 images you find one you add to favorites but you still want to look but you have to start over and look at those 20 images you looked at before you added one to favorites. I just pick a number it could be 100 images but you still have to go back to the beginning if you stop and add to favorites or download as well. Hope this is clear. Thank you for any advice you can give me. I don’t care for Halloween themed cups but I really like this one. Going to try my hand at one tomorrow. Love your tutorials.
Hi, awesome look… I achieve similar and I’m going to share a way to get that same results with less stress on your wrist and hands lol no carpal tunnel required! When I want to use alcohol inks and spread it out to get that particular look, I use a “Real Sponge” … I generally purchase a large size (I live in Florida near the sponge docks and I get a natural sponge the last me years or The dollar tree and most craft stores carry natural sponge) and cut it up into manageable pieces. Then I take a fine mist sprayer with 91 or 70% alcohol and I either spray it on the sponge(you can use the same sponge or a new one and it will give you a different effect) or directly on the cup and dab it and it literally takes me 2 or 3 minutes max. Try it out and let me know how much time you shave off :)
That is a beautiful cup. I have followed you since you started and have always wondered what you use on your cups when you just go and set them down. Is that PCV pipe with something on the bottom? I find that I'm always looking for something to hold my cups when after I glitter, ink, etc....I made a PCV holder, but it takes up so much room. Where can I find what you use? Thanks Courtney and have a great weekend 🙂
I want to make this tumbler but want it to glow in the dark how much glow powder should I add to epoxy to make the whole tumbler glow I love watching your videos and have made quite a few of your tumblers
Hello, I don't know how I came across your video, but I'm sure glad I did. I have never tried a cup or tumbler before, but I sure want to try it now. I have a few questions; I hope they don't offend you since I don't know the process. First one is, what paint did you use to prepare your tumbler? Second one is, why did you use ink on the bottom if you were going to paint it, or did you decide after you put on the vinyl? The third question is, why did you put Mod Podge in the list when I believe in the video that you weren't using Mod Podge on the tumbler? Fourth and final question is, how many coats of epoxy in total did you use and at what stages in the process? Your tumbler came out so beautiful that I had to subscribe. Thank you so much for showing us all how to do it.
OK now that I watched it again, I have another question. How do you keep the epoxy out of the inside of the cup lip? Although I missed it the first time, thanks for the Positivity Thought! Bless you.
Hi! Thank you so much for subscribing! To answer your questions… 1. To prep I used Head in the Clouds from ColorShot 2. I decided last minute to paint the bottom 3. The list of materials in my description is automatic, meaning every time I post a video the same thing is copied into every description. I go in and edit when I need to, but I must have forgotten to remove the mod podge. 4. In total, there’s 3 coats. Every 24 hours I added a new layer. 5. I always get epoxy in the cup lol. I take a craft knife and gently scrape it out I hope this helps!
@@CourtneysCustoms Thank you so much for answering my questions. I am seriously thinking that I want to try making an epoxy tumbler in the near future thanks to your wonderful video.
So funny story, my 1 year old son is fascinated by your videos lol. Whenever I put one on, as soon as he hears your intro he becomes memorized
Omg that’s so cute lol
I love that method, I would love to see how it would look doing that on a glow in the dark tumbler 😊
I’ll have to add a glow epoxy coat😍
I was thinking the same thing. Like before the alcohol ink 😍
@@MmmCandi04 I’m going to try applying glow epoxy on top of the alcohol ink.

Yes that happens to me too I know exactly what you’re talking about. It must just be how it is
I always right click and "Open in New Tab" the items I want to view, so I don't have to go back through them all over and over!
I loveee this !!! The background reminds me of scales, did the color seemed to get darker when you epoxy it 😂
Also loveeeee your nails!!!!!!
Thanks girl! I have no idea why the color changed lol!
Love how you did the background design!!!!
I also love your shirt, did you make it also?
Thank you! And yes I did💜

How much do I need to add to epoxy to make the whole cup glow ??
You don’t need much at all. About the size of a pea and mix it into your epoxy really good!

It would be neat with glow in the dark mica
Yes!!😍
Love it!!! I might try this!
I have a terrible time with transfer tape.
Do you mind if I ask what brand you use?
Thank you! I use Hippie Crafter brand
Hey Courtney! Love your channel! Have been watching non stop for a couple of days! Which brand is your tumbler spinner?
Thank you so much! It’s from Bama Cups, their link is in the description 💜
@@CourtneysCustoms girl!! Just realized you live about 2 hours south of me! OH!
@@ciarahope8664 I-O!!
love this decal.. where did you find it.
Thanks! I have the link for it in the description
I wonder if the smoke effect would look good with that SVG
Oh I bet it would!
Love this cup! Did the alcohol ink turned kind of a turquoise color?
Thank you! Yes it changed a bit after epoxy
@@CourtneysCustoms thank you Courtney! I’ll definitely do this cup. Thanks for the tutorial.
how did it go from green to blue? I'm loving the blue
Also this tumbler is AMAZING. I love all of your videos but this is by far my favorite tumbler!
I have no idea honestly lol
Instead of plain white as a basecoat would glow in the dark paint work?
The inks probably would not show up as good on a dark base
Did you use any glow in dark additive for this cup?
No but I should have lol
Do you seal you alcohol ink before you expoy it?
No
Did you sand in between coats???
Nope, I didn’t need to💜
It looks like the color changed from green to blue
I know lol when I walked out in the shed the next day I was like wait a minute what happened here 😂
@@CourtneysCustoms Good…..so I’m not crazy. 😅
I really love this one! I can't wait to try it.
Thank you!
