I remember watching this series when it was first broadcast.
Loved the Invader spacecraft. Very nicely modeled scene. 👍🏻😎

This is a lot of work to make some model’s of Ufo”s!Nice model work, here! We used to have those plastic crafts in a store over on Hickman Road in Des Moines,Iowa. It was in a really old store 🏬 front that must’ve been there during the 1950”s,I guess?

Hi. Thanks for the comment. This kit's been around for a very long time. As far as I know, it was repackaged and re-released two or three times. It's a nice simple kit with lots of detail inside (which I left out to make room for the lighting circuits). Actually, this wasn't as much work as you might think - it just took a little time for research and planning. The assembly didn't take any longer than building the kit with the original interior details.

That's pretty cool. I once spent weeks on a B-52 model and proudly presented it to a valued friend who fought in World War I. I returned in about half an hour to see it being thrown in the yard by his great grandchildren. Then I learned what a plastic model is actually worth ... nothing. I got rid of the hundreds that cluttered my room and moved on to adult things. All together in a tag sale for my estate they may have brought in $5. Beyond your enjoyment doing and looking you have nothing.

Well, the value of ANY physical object is in the eye of the beholder - or the owner. Just because your friend didn't value your efforts doesn't mean the model was worthless. It cost you money, but more importantly you invested your time and effort into it. That alone makes the model worth a great deal. In purely financial terms, however, have you seen the price of kits today? Yikes! When I was a kid I could've bought three kits for what one costs today. So, kits are 'worth' $$$, & probably a lot more $$$ than you think.
Anyway, sorry to hear your efforts got such a shabby reaction.
