@@Blackmjc I thought the artistry looked familiar when I looked at it But then again who really takes the time to look at the graphics of the cd case when they bought a new cd all they wanna do is listen to it hey
Korn has so many sick tunes I've been blessed to attend a couple concerts up here in Canada, hearing John's voice and watching Munky prance around on stage was just captivating
According to Songfacts: Lead singer Jon Davis wrote the lyrics about the music industry, which he compares to an owner walking a dog. While he's this freak being paraded around, corporate America is making all the money... and it's taking a part of him.
Interesting fact, guitarist, Brian “Head” Welch found himself raising his daughter, by himself. He became a Christian in 2005, left the band to dedicate his efforts in raising her. He has rejoined the band some years later though, but he’s still clean from drugs and alcohol. My initial love of music was Rock and Metal. Love these guys, and yes, I’m a Christian, too.
I was not a Korn fan but I LOVE this song! One cannot argue that the musicians on this track are playing the sh*t out of each and every instrument. Full on assault of all instruments.
Korn also did a lot of the songs in the movie Queen of the Damned (part of The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice). He was the voice when the vampire Lestat was singing. The first Korn songs I remember hearing back in the 90s were Blind and Clown which I highly recommend! I like some of their newer stuff too though.
Oh and "DID MY TIME" and "MAKE ME BAD" are great too! Jonathon davis the lead singer is epic in my eyes. He also plays the bagpipes.....how cool is that feat!
Korn is hands down my favorite band of all time and i listen to a little bit of of every genre. You should explore them abit.....i highly recommend " HERE TO STAY "or "THOUGHTLESS". maybe twisted transistor. By the way i enjoy watching all the great 80's hits with you.
Here to stay is one of my favorite porn songs I have to say great suggestion for him. But the live version of them singing it is even better than the whole crowd joint then to the certain Key Parts of the song
Amazing song and first on the album but not the first I heard. I wonder if it’s a regional thing? The rock stations in Oregon latched onto Shoots and Ladders first and then Blind. I was hooked from first listen too.
OMG!! So glad you did this one. This is from my teen years. This music video is the one that knocked Backstreet Boys and N sync off the #1 spot on TRL. (MTV days) 😁😁😁😁
Good reaction. This was a pioneering band that led the 'Nu Metal' genre into the mainstream. The video followup to this song is "Falling Away From Me". I'd recommend that one. Also, "Got the life" and "Twisted Transistor"
#KoRn #Love another amazing KoRn music videos: // Falling Away From Me // Blind // Clown // Somebody Some One // Did My Time // a.d.i.d.a.s // Thougless // You´ll Never Find Me // Y´all Want a Single // Come Undone // Black Is The Soul // A Diferent World // #KoRn
I am into the band scene ...bullet holes allover the shed.. When I am not into the band , so much...I try to give thought to the instruments and how talented they are.. Great video direction...all the 'close calls'.
Lead singer Jon Davis wrote the lyrics about the music industry, which he compares to an owner walking a dog. While he's this freak being paraded around, corporate America is making all the money... and it's taking a part of him.
At around 4:00 minutes you described not only this song extremely well, you described me! Also, when something good happens, it gets ripped away by something bad, is another thing Jonathan is saying. Great insight, so many miss the meanings in this song, and only react to it because it was such a popular Korn song. Korn are still my fav, I've been a fan since 13, and I appreciate the new people enjoying my favorite bands!! I also find new ones myself occasionally. The middle part is not exactly beatboxing, many call it scat.
Korn has so many great songs. Thoughtless is one of my favorites. All in the Family with Limp Bizkit is always fun and everyone enjoys Ya'll want a Single! 🤘🤘
They are by far the BEST live concert I've been to many x's...I may be 56 but this band is so worth losing my hearing, lol. BTW, this song is about being used up by the music industry.
i'm Mexican , i listen all this song's in my grandschool time, and the same time hear hip hop, this is fire this band is diferent music, represent all the people with hate 00`s pop an shit
PLEASE do AFI “Miss Murder” or “The Kill (What if I)” by 30 Seconds to Mars. Idk about anyone else but for me, a late 90’s kid, I listened to stuff like this religiously when I was going through my emo phase 😂
I know you like the vocals of Amy Lee of Evanescence. She sings on the MTV Unplugged version of this song. It’s amazing. Dude your face when Jon Davis vocals switch up are priceless. He’s definitely unique.
Definitely should do "Falling away from Me" by Korn and see that music video, it actually continues right after this music video ends
And the album cover and music videos were drawn by the Spawn comic book artist Todd McFarland.
@@Blackmjc so awesome did not know that

Nah Snakes and ladders!
According to Songfacts: Lead singer Jon Davis wrote the lyrics about the music industry, which he compares to an owner walking a dog. While he's this freak being paraded around, corporate America is making all the money... and it's taking a part of him.
Thank u! That was a beautiful break down of the song!
Ironic, considering how much of the success of the band was purely due to marketing
Same reason Prince changed his name to a symbol and wrote 'slave' on his face.
Right on the money 💰

New standard for a happy ending: "no one died" 😂😂😂😂
😂😂
😂😂😂
2020 has helped many of us redefine "happy ending". Like "I still have a roof over my head & food on the plate".
Korn covered the old Cameo song Word Up, and did a pretty bad ass job. Check that one out!
Pink Floyd's another brick in the wall and Metallica One too.
@@matthewdrake4385 also devil went down to Georgia
True, though that one I wasn't a fan of as much as the others
💚Fun fact: Johnathan Davis worked as an embalmer and as an assistant in the coroners department before Korn.💚
He collects some freaky shit. He was on an episode of Oddities which is about a really weird antiques shop.
two great Korn songs are "Falling Away From Me" and "Got The Life"
Amen brother
Facts bro
Got the life is my shit!
Lol. Dude said “the instrumentals are nice and mellow”. Cue massive bass drop 😆
Try Korn “Blind”, “A.D.I.D.A.S.”, “Got The Life”, or “Freak On A Leash (featuring Amy Lee) MTV Unplugged”
"Got the life" got me 3 tickets for speeding that year lmao
Jayvee doing A.D.I.D.A.S 😂
Nice selection
Also Daddy and Snakes and ladders!
Korn: Y'all Want A Single...is Korn's message to their record label...and a "lovely" song lol
My favorite! lol I haven`t seen anyone react to it yet, wish they would!
I love Korn. I have seen them 3 times in concert. Wanna keep going to their shows
Lol Korn- Forsaken from the Queen of the Damned Soundtrack.... love that song
We listened to Korn a lot back in the day. For another hit, listen to Got the Life or the song that immediately jumps into my head Shoots and Ladders
I was not a Korn fan but I LOVE this song! One cannot argue that the musicians on this track are playing the sh*t out of each and every instrument. Full on assault of all instruments.
Same
They have like 5 or so good songs everyone has heard and loves. Oher than that......their music is pretty uninspiring.
@@MrBottlecapBill I disagree. I think their first 4 albums are all pretty solid through and through
I looooved this song in college!!

Jonathan Davis also has a little cameo in the movie 😊
Korn Blind. I seen them live years ago, and this is the song they opened with at the concert. It will be one you put on your gym list for sure.
I saw or I have seen. Not i have saw or i seen
That breakdown and the "GO!" was great.
I do not remember anything after that. I was headbanging too hard.
Fr i thought it was only natural to headbang to the breakdown

Do "Blind". That was their first song. I remember when it cam out and I was like "What the.....?". My young impressionable ears were sold
Amazing song and first on the album but not the first I heard. I wonder if it’s a regional thing? The rock stations in Oregon latched onto Shoots and Ladders first and then Blind. I was hooked from first listen too.
KORN is fantastic live! Seen them like 10 times and they're phenomenal every time!🤘🤘🤘
This and "Got The Life" are two of my favorite songs from them. Straight fire.
Korn ...Hollow Life, Somebody Someone, Hey Daddy, Love Song
If you liked Jon Davis's growly scat vocals, listen to "Twist." It's only a minute long but it's great.
Im so glad your finally doing Korn!!!!! Two of these members are saved! Hope you do "Coming Undone" & "Blind"
I love this song freak on leash is such an incredible song by KORN they rock
OMG!! So glad you did this one. This is from my teen years. This music video is the one that knocked Backstreet Boys and N sync off the #1 spot on TRL. (MTV days) 😁😁😁😁
Twisted Transistor!!! You'll love seeing Lil Jon doing vocals lmao
Good reaction. This was a pioneering band that led the 'Nu Metal' genre into the mainstream. The video followup to this song is "Falling Away From Me". I'd recommend that one. Also, "Got the life" and "Twisted Transistor"
the entire album, "untouchables", is gold
Thunder Kiss '65 - White Zombie
Also, my absolute favorite Korn song is Coming Undone. Awesome song and awesome video.
One of the greatest Musicvideos ever made!
I now need some Korn in my life. My CD collection is about to explode 💥. Fire as always Jay 🤟🏼
Saw these guys live with my daughter in Spokane, WA. with Monster Magnet and Hole.
At the Spokane Arena? When? I live in Spokane.

Korn, "Make ME Bad." ✌
Loving the alternative stuff tonight! Korn are amazing, Jonathan Davis’ voice is so distinctive! Great video 👍🏼
Great reaction love Korn would love for you to check out the song" blind" by Korn, live at Woodstock 99
Still an incredible song, even after 22 years. I miss this kind of music. Next up...Stabbing Westward's "Save Yourself."
Yes! Stabbing Westward's "Save Yourself" is a great one-hit wonder!
I am into the band scene ...bullet holes allover the shed.. When I am not into the band , so much...I try to give thought to the instruments and how talented they are.. Great video direction...all the 'close calls'.
The lead singer of Korn is Jonathan Davis
Crazy this doesn’t seem like an old song!! Man time flies!
"Got The Life" is another great well-known song of Korns
Another band you should check out is Static-X "Push It" , "Black and White", and "The Only
Got the life !!!!!! It’s legit
Love this band! 💜💜💜
Lead singer Jon Davis wrote the lyrics about the music industry, which he compares to an owner walking a dog. While he's this freak being paraded around, corporate America is making all the money... and it's taking a part of him.
This song is so bad ass, the album is even better. Man take back to 90s...
Gotta do more Korn!

My Chemical Romance!!!!! Any song but their most popular song is Welcome To The Black Parade!
Yeah I asked him last week the same song great pick🤔
Korn has so many great songs. Thoughtless is one of my favorites. All in the Family with Limp Bizkit is always fun and everyone enjoys Ya'll want a Single! 🤘🤘

I just love watching your reactions, your positivity and enthusiasm is infectious 😃
You want to be blown away try their Shoots and Ladders - totally a trip!! Also Blind is amazingly deep.
Those kids were like Children of the Korn.
The singer always reminded me of beetlejuice
Gotta check out more Korn ( Shoots and Ladders ) Five Finger Death Punch ( I Apologize) and Halestorm ( I get off, Freak like me)
This is a great song
Tom petty and Stevie Nicks- Stop dragging my heart around
You should try Bush song Machinehead
Yes! I love Bush.
Agreed Machinehead or Comedown are my favorites from them
@@feferosette People love a good bush.

I leave the thumbs up because the reactions to good songs and instruments when you used to play them were great! I’m waiting for more of them.
Jayveetv: I'm definitely getting this now
Everyone: just wait one second
Linkin Park’s Papercut, Given Up and One Step Closer. You’ll love them.
The lead singer also did the soundtrack for Queen of the Damned
React to the version with Amy Lee from Evanescense!

Korn "got the life"
Korn has so many great songs. I don't have a fav. 🤘🔥 Welcome to the world of Jon Davis.
I like their song “Never Never” has a bit of a different sound from this one 👍
Love this song... please react to Alone I Break by Korn. It brings back memories of my 17 year old son... I miss him so much...🇨🇦💔😢
Bless you for putting up with the glorious yet poison fruits of our youth.
Clicked as fast as possible 💯💯💯❤️
I know you like the vocals of Amy Lee of Evanescence. She sings on the MTV Unplugged version of this song. It’s amazing. Dude your face when Jon Davis vocals switch up are priceless. He’s definitely unique.
I just saw them a few months back. They still got it. You should do Clown next.
The lyrics and messages from the video are very deep.
I saw them in a concert once, front row.
You have to check out the Korn music video “Make Me Bad”, that was my favorite video of theirs back in the day
This song got me into numetal. Great memories of playing the first pokemon and listening to this album
I was a little kid when I started listening to KoRn. When I could get away with it anyways. My favorite album is still, to this day, Issues.
The bullets you hypothetically fire at children eventually destroy everything in their lives. Good thing Korn brings it all back
