I was born too late to be able to to experience this live. But being able to see wovenhand live the amount of times I have, has been been enough for now.
Randomly bumped into DEE on a documentary called The Wronged Eyed Jesus. I was immediately hooked to his voice. This concert was the next DVD I found with his music (this was the time when Netflix sent out DVDs) and I was in love. Still a fan to this day. Seen dude live twice and can't wait to see him again. So very underrated
Not just lyrical yet poetic, defies typical cliches of usual rhyme schemes and bitchy dreams, it is not performance it is genuine, a transmission of soul to stage, with no holds barred, seen 16 H do much more gritty and spit gravel out the torn retread tires of audience -a desert oasis, a drinking water hole yet on fire, from cover to core, no interest in fame, fortune or glory, there is a message here, shown by spirits unknown instead of listed and crowd pleasing, no brand name can tether the leash unbound. David, from Denver, I lived there and frankly between the lost identity of being the MW Hub, everyone I meet is Dallas, NYC and inner city "Cah-boys" never been on the horse, play the part, love the outside, and too many beers is the major cause, how many screams during the football broadcast, yes I do love the Rockies, and the baseball team too, even have my old neighbor there, Glenn Allen, now a coach, adorable man and that extends to his whole family here, in cali & there in TX, yet to be honest, I did not just leave the state of Prison Valley, I was following a vision to cast my fate into the wind, brought me around the world, as we say, not performing yet transmission of soul to action... and brought me back to see, the CV19 Denver, CO state from a better view, where I came to know some of the original people, which is why I thought david was from PA, where many also say he is from, the death of the coal mining towns, such as is Petrolia, Idaho Springs so the 2 states have some things in common, a state of being, a state of confused identities and a state of oblivious insanity, I came to be a guest of Union Square and the fine dining known to most the USA- Urban Farmer, where the shrooms I ate grew right there, in the city, in the building in cool ass glass cases and some in the basement... rare to feel the real CO, is there where some of the wealthiest people have been so driven as to preserve culture and history there. Not everyone needs a zip line to see the view. Often it is in the small items that tell you of the struggles to find itself and this state has a great past, yet too many- the most and with the greatest density of Super-Max High Security Federal Prisons, oh yeah, look up "Prison Valley" and maybe one day I can go back, as I often do, yet with a feeling of renewed belief, to replace the blue grief, the gorgeous nature of itself, taken by the thief of urban sprawl. David achieves more than beautiful music, he creates an age of Americana, folklore, a genuine, gritty, emotional reality, the ghost flames that rise up from the ghost campfires, by the dead mines, still these burn me. Feels so much more like PA where Petrolia, boarded up now, last count population 23, used to be a bustling little city, until the mines went away, and now there are 4 families living astray, the black coal night a faded moon glows with intensity like a bridal gown in tornado wind, while it truly has become a ghost town, a city, downed by running itself dry from within. Sustainable words seem a taunt for the few, while folks still living there still, feel the future has already passed through, and the bills, oh the bills, they still say "Past Due". Just a few notions.

Wonderful ! Thank you, Glitterhouse Records. I have a nice memory of this band.
Just found out about this band. So good. Reminds me of another gothic country band, The Angels of Light.
