If you use the cockpit view, I would recommend using the radar rather than the track map, so you can see when someone's extremely close to you. It’s not perfect, but it really helps.

I liked that little Seattle interlude. I remember having to drive very slowly over the jumps in the Chaparral 2J so the "suction" effect didn't wear off. So glad I picked up that PS2 and GT4 a few months back!

Hey SuperGT, thanks for the video! I just started on a wheel (Thrustmaster T300 Ferrari) today and I am about 1 second slower than using a controller and I find myself to be a lot more inconsistent on the wheel. It's really hard, especially with the throttle, I find it way to light. I will keep practicing and hopefully you can make a video to help us beginners with tips and tricks on a wheel, thanks a lot, love your video and hope you carry on with the great work! Hi Super GT happy to see you're now able to use your wheel on GT Sport! And using the same camera angle as me, I find that using the radar option in the corner helps improve your visibility greatly! It's nowhere near perfect but it's better than not knowing what's their and let's you maintain a forward view so you can judge braking points and corners accurately! Hope this helps!

I find that using the bumper cam is usually the best way to experience racing games when using a wheel. The turn-in just feels more accurate for some reason. On the flip side, I prefer using a gamepad while using chase cam. It's strange how certain games seem to play better with different camera perspectives.

Welp they will need to remake the track next year. That large double decker overpass (aka Alaskan Way Viaduct) will be demolished by January to be replaced by a tunnel. And there's loads of construction on the waterfront including the main ferry dock. So its going to be interesting to see what the track will look the next few years.

I haven't gotten myself a wheel yet, but I always race in cockpit view, anyway. I'm saving up for a half decent one, and I want to make sure I don't have to adjust to a camera while adjusting to the feel of a wheel. Anyway, if you're familiar enough with the track, you should switch your course map over to the radar screen. It's just one press to the left from the map. That way, you can keep the camera facing forward, while still being aware of all surrounding cars. Makes things a lot easier.

Seattle was fun in GT4. Here's a pic I took not long after 100% completion. i.imgur.com/Ue8XMXs.png
Also, I'd like to add, F#@K the snow on that game.

I´m loving GTS but man, when I think of the classic tracks it really makes me sad. So many of them would look so awesome today, let alone race online.

Trying to get into this game. Played it for a bit at launch and got to a B B rating. Played a race for the first time in forever yesterday and qualified 12th of 16 and finished 7th so not too bad

Love that Seattle bit, thanks for that, next time I'm there I'll have to follow it along. Anyway, I hate inside view on racing games in general, hopefully you will move on from that soon :D .

Great to see you on a wheel Mister Super GT ; ) - oh and use the radar on the bottom right side. It helps.

Ive had the t300rs wheel for years now and gt sport since launch but only actually started trying a few games on this, lol. I was really enjoying what ive played so far and its so far only been with the controller. I cant wait to do some games and vids with the wheel, but i was actually surprised just how enjoyable it was with the controller tbh. 😀👍

I have the G29 and started in the cockpit, eventually I realised that it was better using the front view but now trying the "hood" view! I'd love to try the VR though I bet that is awesome looking around and twiddling with the stereo!
When do we get to see the rest of the Seattle layout then Super GT?

Yes I'm happy to see ma dude racing with a wheel. I would say work on racing with the wheel so you can diversify the racing games you play even more (by that I mean iracing, asseto, pcars etc).

Since you did a challenge with JSR Devon, maybe have one with Rosso on GT Sport, you using a wheel and him a controller. Something like that would be really interesting.

I think using wheel makes some corners easier and some harder, but switching between wheel and controller is hard cause with wheel you can over or understeer at will but with controller it does some of it itself (cant turn wheels full lock with speed etc.). But as always more authentic and challenge with wheel is more awarding as well.

Would be interesting to see the confusing parts in a replay camera. Like the mysterious penalties, to see if you hit someone, and the disappearing cars.

I would change the Track map to the Radar, It helps to see where people are more clearly in Cockpit view. And you don't need to try and watch the mirrors that way :)

I have been new to wheel as wheel. I also suggest the t3pa pedals or pro version as wheel. I love my thrustmaster t150 and t3pa pro pedals. Congrats on getting a wheel. If this helps turns ffb settings to 1 over 1. But awesome buddy.

Try using bumper or bonnet cam I find them better than cockpit. And rather than track map use the radar to see cars closer to you do you don’t have to look back or sideways etc. Great vids btw. I struggled with a wheel at first but soon as you get used to it it’s definitely a better experience
