Merry Christmas ma you have added and you look fresh and beautiful,😅 please my mentor don't be going for so long some of us look up to your tips to help us grow, mbok God bless you and your family
Hi, sorry I’m just seeing this. You’ll join it the same way so that it’s flatter and nicely finished than the raw edges showing if you use the gele method
Hi… I can’t really say, but based on my price point for either a bustier or corset, I charge higher than I’ll normally charge because asooke is a more complex fabric. I use a beader so I add Beaders fee seperate.
Thank you so much ma’am for this video, was quite helpful….. please I was wondering am I suppose to add pad/chest worthy to the upper part of the dress, that is for the bust part like you would do on Ankara and lace fabric
You did that! You are such a beauty and talent! Thanks for posting!! ❤🧡💛
Thank you so much!! 🥰
God bless you 😇 so detailed 😮💨😮💨😮💨

Hi, sorry I’m just seeing this. You’ll join it the same way so that it’s flatter and nicely finished than the raw edges showing if you use the gele method
Please how much for a pack of the plain one that is plastic like and how many Wil be enough for a dress for someone that is tall
I really dunno how much it is now and there are also different grades. You’ll need 2 to 3 bundles depending on the style
Good job❤❤❤
Good job
Thanks ma, u just saved me this night
Glad to help you out 😊
Would have loved if you added what you used for the linen… But I'm making my first aso Oke with these tips. Please wish me luck.❤
Good luck! I used cotton lining for this one. I also use suit lining as well
Is the lining added to the skirt part as well?
Yes I did… sorry, just seeing this
Beautiful work, I have learnt a lot from this video.
But how about weaving the joining before ironing with hemming gum
I like to open up the seams when ironing so that everything is nice and flat. But I guess experimenting never hurts anyone, so you can give it a try 👌
Thank you ma’am, how many looks would be used for a whole dress? I
Do you mean bundles? 2 bundles should be enough for a dress. Gele and ipele would take 1 bundle. So in total for a complete Yoruba attire 3 bundles
Please ma what did you use to line your aso Oke 🙏🏽
I use suit lining or cotton lining.
Please, how much can one charge for making aso oke gown that is beaded?

Please its my first te trying asoke to sew a bustier blouse i bought the cotton asoke,is it ok if i use air stay for the blouse?
Sorry, I’m just seeing this. Yes please, Airstay for the blouse is always recommended
Except it’s just a regular buba top then no need to
Beautiful...pls is it necessary to add interfacing to it
Yes it is, especially if it’s the kind that frays a lot
Hello ma’am, I hope you see this on time ma. This method of joining can it be used for agbada bubu for women
Yes, definitely
Pls how bundles did you use for skirt part and that ipele
I mean that one head tie
I used less than one bundle here cos the lady is very slim. But I usually budget one bundle for skirt alone
Thanks for this
My pleasure❤️❤️❤️
Thank you

I use a bra cup for asooke….. that’s because I don’t want the bulkiness around the seam lines.
Please how can I wash asooke outfit
Hand wash is best…. Nothing serious though, just dip and wiggle, no need for hard scrubbing 👌
Please ma,does aso oke needs linen?
Oh yes it does. I use cotton lining or suit lining for it
It’s not compulsory to use lining
Hmmm hmmm hmmm… if you like the scratchy feel go for it
