Tiktok and toxic masculinity really ruined this genre. I used to love Phonk and often listen to becaus it was a rare genre that noone listen to. But these days are over now… Now only Gymcells listen to this music 🙄
Still love this genre, but listening to a “sigma male” playlist with this music with the face of one of the movie characters they use for that shit plastered on it the entire time made me cringe enough to stop listening to it.
@@TravisWayne254 For real. I still listen all phonk playlist I can. Even the "Sigma" ones (they're very well made, trust me.) But when people associate them with something "sigma" it just ruins the fun. I don't even know what Sigma means ☠️
