I always thank God for you, every time I remember about the guy that were like picking on us when we’re on line for the concert. There’s an increasing cases of asian hate crimes lately. When you came back on the line that guy left, you were our angel 😇 thanks again. God gave us our own cross to carry. I know it’s hard sometimes and that’s why music is around. I believe that the song “What?” has a PRAYER, “Ama, salamat, Ikaw ang agimat.” Ama is father that refers to our Father Almighty, salamat is thank You, agimat is like a superpower. I'm so glad you're having fun reviewing SB19. It's true the message of their songs is universal, love, hope, and brotherhood!!! And it touches everybody. Dennis hang in there, everything will pass. Every life event is transient but the feelings stay in the heart. Kudos to Pablo for writing these songs, and kudos to the group for giving these masterpieces life thru their voices!!!

The day Nyebe was released, I realized that each one of us are going theough rough times right now and our escape from loneliness is our 5 angels SB19 but at the end of the day, the problem is still there, the longing is still there, haunting us. Pablo’s words and SB19’s harmony is like angels singing and bringing us healing. The words pierce our hearts and the last quote made us realize that whatever it is that we are going through, its up to us to change it. Its only us and no one else.
Whatever you are going through right now, I pray for your healing. God loves us thst’s why he gave us SB19.

In one reaction that I watched, one commenter said that this is sort of a response to Mapa. This tells of the sacrifice of overseas Filipino workers and the struggle of being away from their families to earn a living. Sacrificing for their loved ones back home to provide for the family. And the struggles with loneliness and pains of being apart. Not sure how credible, but a lot of OFWs empathize with this song, especially as it's the Christmas season.

I hope you will feel some healing through this song. Don't lose hope and yes, the coldness (anxiety, problems etc) that you are feeling right now is not permanent- it will all melt away. By the way, when you try to look at tears under a microscope it usually looks like a snow. Amazing right? Pablo is really genius. Nyebe's lyrics I think is just literally translated to the one you are reading right now and it hit you already- what more if you knew what the words and sentences really means figuratively. :) TC there!!
